The microwave is wonderful but the black stainless steel finish is coming off .We have used the microwave 4 months and I always clean with a soft cloth and stainless steel cleaner and the finish is coming off the handle. It™™s unreal that it™™s not covered by the warranty!

This was delivered to my house in July. On August 21st, we noticed that the black stainless finish was flaking off the handle. Potentially into our food below. Called and emailed pictures to the store we purchased from because they have a department to handle warranties. It™™s now November and I still have a flaking handle and no answers. At the same time, our Frigidaire refrigerator started leaking. That took weeks and three service calls to fix. A couple of weeks ago I called Frigidaire pretty irate at this situation. The representative sent me a new black stainless handle for my microwave. Box says black stainless. Doesn™™t match. It™™s more like black than a black stainless because their black stainless is gray. Needless to say, I grew up with Frigidaire appliances and this is my second set, and it WILL be my last because it™™s been nothing but trouble and cost way more than what it™™s apparently worth.

We replaced our previous Gallery with this new model. We believe it was the door switch but decided to replace with the cost of fixing the other unit. We are happy with it but miss the frozen/fresh feature on the older model. Time will be the deciding factor on our giving 5 stars.

What I love most about our new microwave is I can see what's cooking. The old microwave was so dark you couldn't tell if something was overflowing. Love the black stainless.If I could change something it would be to lower the brightness of the clock light, it shines into my bedroom and it's clear across the house!

Love my new black stainless steel appliances! They are beautiful and look awesome in my kitchen! My only complaint is there was a small sticker on the control panel of microwave and when removed left sticky residue. When tried to get it off with cleaner specifically for this purpose it permanently discolored the keypad.

Just bought a new Frigidaire microwave. Our old microwave died. We will be replacing appliances to black stainless steel as they die off. I hoping our refrigerator goes next. With that being said, I love our new microwaves appearance. Another positive quality is it is very quiet when running. The only negative to this appliance was the nstallation. Why would you put the hinge on top? You have to lower the appliance under the cabinet so it can open properly. That's why it's almost perfect.

I chose to replace my old Frigidaire microwave with another Frigidaire. I was able to find this unit with the same dimensions as my old one. The control panel was also comparable to the old unit (You know us old folks, we don't like change!). I absolutely love the black stainless finish I chose instead of the basic black of the old unit. It's still new, but I love it!
