Leaking valve in new cooktop

There was a manufacturer defect, a valve was loose under the large muddle burner and the cook top literally exploded raising the entire cooktop a few inches up in the air and flames shooting out from underneath. Poor quality control to not have caught this when it was manufactured. Just thankful we weren™™t injured!

Pros: -knobs have a light when turned on. This is super useful for a house with kids and a Saint Bernard. -easy to use and operate. -so many burners, can make big dinners, great for entertaining and holidays. -easy to install, according to our contractor -big enough to cook all the things at the same time, but compact enough for a small kitchen-fast cook burner Cons: while the stove top itself is easy to clean, the grills are really heavy, making it harder to move them aside and put them back when cleaning. I didn™™t take a star off for this because it™™s also something I love about it, it™™s super sturdy and well made.

Everything about this gas cooktop is superior to my old cooktop of a different brand! It is both beautiful and functional. The cast iron grates are heavy, but we™™re pretty straight forward to move when cleaning, and this stovetop is so easy to clean and put back together. The dials are not plastic and feel well made when touching. The gas burners are super responsive when cooking. I couldn™™t be happier with my purchase!

Works well. LED™™s light up nicely. Looks very modern with these style grates. Upgrading from a 30 inch, this cooktop cranks, heats up big pots fast! Knobs are a smooth operation and cleaning is easy. Some of the reviews have stated negative about the finish and the grates, but we have not experienced any of these issues. The grates are very heavy duty. We love it!

Bought this before it gets outlawed and prices skyrocket. Quality is great and effective cooking surface is perfect. The only issue is when cleaning the surface the burner elements are so light they are easy to knock off. You then have to place them back on and line them up. Happens too often. If slightly heavier it wouldn™™t be an issue.

Have used the stove for about a month. It works very well. I like the way to looks and how the knobs are protected from the heat. The black surface is easy to clean and looks good. The only negative is you have to take the middle grate off to get the large left and right grate.

This cooktop is impressive looking in my kitchen. It stands higher than my last cooktop, and the grates are sturdy and heavy. The burners light quickly and have a higher heat point than my last cooktop. I love the knobs - they have a gentle back light to them and are made of metal (not plastic). I feel the lighting under the knobs looks great, but is also a kind of safety feature - if the light is on then the stove/burner is still on.

Pros: - heavy duty cast iron grates are very nice and don't seem to be rubbing off or have a "finish". Just all cast iron- burner distance to bottom of the pans seems good. Not too far, not too close.- knobs are solid and feel quality (backlight is a neat feature) - coated black top is fairly easy to clean and doesn't show as much dirt as a stainless variation would (which is one reason for picking this version - LP conversion was easy and installing was easy as well. - rubber pads under grates prevent scraping the surfaces.Cons:- burner black caps seem to float around too much and if not centered exactly burner pattern is affected - small rubber caps over flame adjustment screws was cheap and the tab to take one of them out ripped off and now I have a piece of rubber permanently stuck down there.-flame adjustment is super sensitive on the low end but the high end is almost too high with more gas coming out than seems right (you can't turn it down low enough to get the high end to be lower. Found a balance and it has been working though)Hope this helps as these were major points I looked for in reviews research for a gas stove top myself.
