I just purchased this stove to replace a gas stove I had for 25 years. My gas stove had a convection oven that was electric and I used it all the time. I tried the oven settings many times and the convection oven does not have a fan that runs all the time during the time it was baking, and that was what my previous oven did. I tried to call and or get information about this and did not have any success so I™™m writing this review to hopefully get a response. Overall, I™™m very happy with the induction cooktop so far and I do not have a lot of pans that are induction ready, but there are many devices out there to help convert and they seem to work well while I make a decision if I™™m going to get a new set of pans. I have baked several things in the oven and so far have found it to be quite good. My only concern is that the convection oven fan does not seem to stay on in the settings for convection bake. It came on intermittently and the bake function was exactly the same in regards to the fan being on occasionally. I have not tried the air fryer yet. When I called Frigidaire to see if this is defective feature I got a message that all lines were busy and use the chat feature online for simple questions then it hung up on me. There is no chat function. So while I rated the stove a 4 the customer service is a 2

So far so good. I love the induction stove. I haven™™t utilized all the features but enough to make me happy. Easy to use stove top. Settings are true to temps, etc. oven results are good too. Have not tried the air fry but will soon.

I am amazed at how fast this stove boils anything and I love it! It uses so much less electricity and is cleaner than gas. The air fryer is perfect when roasting vegetables with hardly any oil, just add some herbs for a delicious dish, one of my favorites. I am so glad I chose this Frigidaire appliance, it looks great in my kitchen.

We™™ve only had our stove about 2 weeks. It has performed very well & it looks gorgeous. Very easy to operate controls, no knobs. The only negative is pushing the pads to turn the burners on is a little hard & it moves the top of the range. I have had induction before & loved it. This one performs really well: boils so fast & yet stops instantly when you turn off the burner. No burned on food, no scrubbing! This is a great product for far less than the nearest competitor.

As my range had to be replaced and unfortunately I don't have access to gas, I dreaded the choice between a cheap (that's the only way they're made now) coil stove or a glass cooktop. I had glass once before and hated the clean up and upkeep. But with induction, the stove top doesn't get burning hot, so clean up is easy. Heat is instant and probably more even than gas. This Frigidaire performs flawlessly, EXCEPT... and this is so annoying... the clock loses 45 sec. each day. I've never had an electric appliance that didn't keep time. I called for warranty support and was told that wasn't enough of a bug for warranty repair. Well it sure isn't a feature. Now I'm late everywhere!!! Great stove, stupid customer service agent.

This Frigidaire Gallery induction range is an awesome appliance. Just don't let the Lowe's delivery crew "attempt" to install it for you. This induction range works well, and it looks great in the black stainless steel finish. The stovetop heats quickly and evenly, and the oven does a great job of baking, broiling and air frying. The touch controls also respond very precisely, once you get used to their very "touchy" tactile response. We purchased the Frigidaire air fry rack for the oven, and it also works very well. The stovetop cools down quickly, and it is very easy to clean and maintain. We purchased the Circulon Premier Professional Cookware set to use specifically with this range, and they work great together. The cookware heats quickly and evenly, with absolutely no vibrating or buzzing at all power levels. The storage drawer is very handy, and it holds many cooking accessories. Induction is the "future" of cooking now, with so many states banning natural gas connections in newly built homes. We actually replaced our five year old (still working) Whirlpool gas range, that came with our new home when we had it built, with this Frigidaire Induction Range. I used to really prefer cooking on a gas range, but now we are so happy that we made the move to Induction. It is like cooking with the precise control of gas, without all of the wasted heat, and baked-on stovetop messes. We got a great deal on this range at Lowe's, but their "installation" leaves a lot to be desired. I ended up wiring the power cable (it was missing the strain relief clamp, but luckily I had one on hand), leveling the range, installing the anti-tip bracket, and sliding the range between the counters myself, after the Lowe's delivery crew just left the range sitting in the middle of the kitchen. I was not happy at all about this situation, but at least we know our stove is installed correctly and safely. Hopefully, this range lasts for many years now. I highly recommend this Frigidaire Gallery induction range (in black stainless) for anyone looking for a great new cooking appliance. However, I would look somewhere other than Lowe's for the installation, if you are not a DIYer.

Our 30-year-old electric range was malfunctioning and based on the Induction Stoves which we came across on our European travels, We decided to replace the range with an Induction Range. The fact that this range had an Air Fryer Function was another plus as our existing Air Frier had been recalled.The Induction function is very fast and there is a learning curve to prevent food burning. You cannot leave the Range when cooking as things can become very hot very quickly.The Air Frier function works well. I have not really tried the oven in the few days we have owned the range.The price and the relatively quick delivery were other factors in the decision. Some other retailers were quoting a waiting period of months.One needs to be aware that you need cookware that works with Induction with the magnet test available to check out the suitability of existing cookware.All in all, a good purchase with more function than form.

I've been wanting to upgrade my range for several years and Frigidaire was the only company that offered a model with the features I wanted. Induction cooktop is fast and precise like gas but clean like electric radiant. Self-cleaning oven is very nice and being convection is a bonus. I mistakenly ordered the range in black stainless steel but now that I see it with a black cooktop and black glass oven door it really looks quite nice.

Just had this range delivered 2 days ago. Found 3 "extra" screws in the bottom of the oven (2 on top of the bottom panel, 1 underneath the bottom panel where it could have shorted the bottom coil). Top works great. Runs hotter than the last range.Sometimes, with dry hands or with lotion on your hands, the touch panel does not respond. We're in the desert Southwest in wintertime, so this will be the case until Spring.The oven convection fan was incredibly loud. The vibrations were so loud, it gave my wife a migraine. We just got rid of another convection range which was very quiet.The convection fan blade was not flat (blades were not aligned in plane) and motor shaft seems to be bent (still makes noise even with fan blades removed). Feeling the sides or back, the large flat panels are emitting a loud low sound (wah wah wah) from the vibration of the motor. Took off the fan blade and leveled all blades (some were out 1/16" vs hub).Ended up adding high-temperature RTV (650degF) isolation spacers between the motor mount legs and the back panel it mounts to. Also installed high-temp isolation spacers for all back panel fasteners.Installed some pieces of high-temperature wood stove sealing rope (rated to 1000degF) as vibration absorbers on the motor mounts, on the sides of the back interior panel, and on the back panel (using steel cable clamps).Now the range is much quieter with the convection fan on.But we shouldn't have had to do this with our brand new range. And it's still not as quiet as the one we got rid of. Pretty disappointed. We are not the only people with this noisy fan issue, and other people who had service folks come out never had their issue resolved.

Purchased this for a kitchen remodel as I have heard nothing but glowing reviews on induction. I love the look, the induction cooking is amazing and overall quite happy with the range so far. Now the air fry, I was very excited to be able to air fry a whole tray of wings versus the 1/2 dozen or so I could do in my instant pot. Big mistake - even following Frigidaire cooking instructions with the Frigidaire air fry tray and a drip pan underneath it made a total mess of the oven with splatter everywhere and filled my condo with enough smoke to set the smoke detectors off. I don't know what went wrong as I followed all the directions to the T - not even going to try it again.

I bought this last sept and received the 1st of 3 in October. 1st one had rubber door shims protruding out about 1/2 an inch and could not be removed, but at least I could use it waiting for stove 2. The second one was delivered but not tested. When I went to try it within 15 minutes of them leaving the whole unit shock horribly. Completely unusable! I had to wait for a new one and was told it would be treated as ™white gloved™ which means they™™d go over it to make sure it was fine. They did not but no issues were present so, oh well. In April/May I watched a piece of foil slowly work is way between the glass. They came out, removed it and left. It wasn™™t added back and the repair line says it™™s not even listed in the specs. On June 30th the whole panel light up with an error code out of nowhere and is fully unusable. I called within 5 min of this happening. It™™s September 13th and I STILL DO NOT HAVE A WORKING RANGE. So, out of 10 months I™™ve only had a working stove for 6-7 months. The warranty on this piece of garbage will end after this repair ever happens since it goes by date of purchase. I had an old maytag that worked just fine but I just needed an upgrade. The cost of food I™™ve endured for the past 11 weeks has been outrageous. I have called the number provided to ask how long am I supposed to deal with this and was told all they will do is close out the repair ticket and start over. If this happens 3 times you get a new stove. So, start fresh at the back of the line again? Great option! So I™™ll be out of warranty, cost of food and the high price I paid for this.I will say I like induction and will always try to own it but never from this company again. I really thought I was buying something nice since it™™s built from Electrolux. Last item, DO NOT AIR FRY CHICKEN WINGS without notifying your neighbors the smoke bellowing out of your now fully open windows is not actually a fire just cooking wings! Putting a water pan under the basket helps. Just a sheet pan does nothing to help.

Just got this, the fan cycles on and off both in BAKE and CONVECTION BAKE. Is it supposed to do that? doesn't make sense to have two functions doing the same thing. Both are about 30 second cycles after the set temperature is reached.

I™™ve had this range for just over a week. This is my first experience with and induction top, and I do truly love the rapid heating and near-instant response when lowering the temperature. I™™ve found baked potatoes cook much faster than I™™m used to when using the convection bake setting, and the turkey breast I just cooked with the convection roast setting was super juicy with a wonderfully browned skin; a big improvement over my traditional oven. I did try the steam clean feature the same day that I cooked the aforementioned turkey breast. Unfortunately, the oven bottom did not come clean as I had expected. My other issue is that the front surface of the induction top gets quite hot when the oven is on. I have a service technician coming to my house next week as the range was shipped with the induction top not properly tightened. I™™m going to ask the tech about the surface temperature. It™™s almost like some insulation is missing.

This is my second Frigidaire induction range. First was a 2011/12 model that I was pretty happy with. A control board went out on that one and repair would have been half the price of a new range, so I replaced it with this one. This new one is definitely a downgrade in capability. Induction- old had twenty some very definite power levels and could be started at top, middle, or bottom level; this one has ten levels which actually operates like about five and can only be started at top or bottom. Old one gave three minutes to burner shutoff- which I really liked about Frigidaire because gave time to drain a pan or mix ingredients off the heat and put back on. New one gives about thirty seconds so I have to reset the burner every time I drain something. Oven- old one would alternate heating between a bottom and top element while baking and fan only ran in convection or initial warmup. This one only heats from bottom and the fan cycles on and off loudly during regular baking. The old one gave me zero problems until the board failed after nine years, I hope this one is as good. Overall, given relative costs I think the Frigidaire is a good deal, just not as good as it was several years ago.

This range boils water beautifully. If that™™s all you do and only use 1-2 small pans when you cook you may love it. If you cook in a variety of larger pans or need to use 3-4 burners at a time (if you cook for a family) you may be less than satisfied. Burners are NOT as large as the indicator diagram on surface and may not be centered under them. Frigidaire doesn™™t care about delivering a quality product for what they consider a lower end price point. (I don™™t consider it a cheap purchase and don™™t have an endless budget). When I spoke to their offices I was basically told I needed to pay more to get a range that delivers what they advertise. Using multiple burners at the same time is possible if you can adjust to the buzzing noises but it doesn™™t make for an enjoyable experience. The broiler cycle isn™™t very even . I™™ve only had this range less than 6 months, spent more than I intended, had 2 service calls, and feel ignored by the company.

I love it but when I run the oven there is an extremely loud vibration noise.it™™s so loud that my kids get mad when I use my oven and sometimes it gives me a headache. We had to wait about three months for this range to come in. We were so excited that we delayed our kitchen remodel around this product. The stove works fine, the air fry feature is good, but the cook surface is HORRIBLE! It™™s like cooking on a mirror. It™™s shiny slick black surface shows everything and cleaning it takes forever. When you do clean it, you have to polish the streaks off and the surface is slippery. When stirring anything, the pan or pot can slide around. I just received the Frigidaire cleaning products and they don™™t work as well as what I was using! I would never recommend this product to anyone.

I bought this in October and there were a few things I didn™™t like and the more I use it the less I like it. It now has a fatal error that pops up intermittently and I am currently trying to return it since the repair technician said it was irreparable. Here are all the issues the two left burners perform poorly when both I use (strange rapid power cycles as if there isn™™t enough power) the large right burner is not anywhere near the size of the printed logo on the top and it™™s not centered in that circle either. The broiler doesn™™t work it just gets kinda warm so it™™s impossible to toast anything with it and now we have this error. Terribly engineered product. Yes the price was appealing and if all the features worked it would be a great stove but they don™™t. The oven and air frying work fantastic and the principle of induction is awesome but the execution is horrible. DO NOT BUY until these issues are resolved.

I ordered on July 23. It is October and I still don™™t have working stove. The first one delivered didn™™t work at all. They brought a second one four days later. It worked for 6 days. After being on hold for hours, I was told it was backordered and would have to wait a week and a half for a technician to come look at it. I am still waiting on the part needed to fix it. No effort has been made to compensate for the inconvenience. Also, the rebate promised when I purchased it was declined.

Ordered 7/26, delivered 9/4 after 2 delays, died 9/11. Service arrived 9/12. Needs parts. Unfortunately there are no parts available and there are over 100 of these same parts requested before me.

The range stopped working on the first day. Motherboard malfunctioned; Problems included difficult customer service, delays in repair and ordering replacement parts. Do not purchase this range!!!

Worked for less than 24 hours

We had our range for less than 24 hours when it started beeping while we were sitting in the living room. The Range had a fatal error and nothing works, we had to turn the power off to the range to stop the beeping. Repair man came 3 days later, had to order parts. I™™ve been waiting 9 days, still haven™™t received the circuit boards needed.

I purchased this less than a month ago and absolutely love the induction cooking. The oven is terrific with its three racks and even cooking! I have not had success with the air fryer but only tried it once. I believe I just need to learn how long to cook when air frying. But I am so glad I found this terrific product.

bought this a month or so ago because my 500 year old coil range finally bit the dust. I'm now in love with induction. This thing heats up fast!!! Same with the convection oven, love the quick preheat! Did have a buzzing noise coming from the back of the unit. Called Frigidaire and they got it fixed quick (very minor, just the sheet metal on the back was a little loose). I definitely recommend buying one of these!

I am so happy with this stove and oven. The stove heat is instant and reacts quickly to changes in heat settings. The air fryer is a great addition...I purchased the feyer pan and that makes everything come out crispy and delicious.

The range works amazing but the oven already started to rattle and making loud noises. Tried calling for support and got no response. No matter what feature I use in the oven it makes a loud rattling sound and starts to shake.

It looks sharp. Favorite feature is how quickly induction can boil a pot of water. The burners and oven make more sound than my old range, but it's not that loud. Still getting used to the oven features and how to adjust recipes - I've tried all the convection settings and air fry, but mostly just use the standard bake now.

We are very pleased with our new stove. The air fry function was a great feature added to the prior model we were going to purchase. So glad we waited and now have this capability of the newer model.
