This is my first bottom freezer refrigerator. I love it. The design allows me to easily see both the contents of the refrigerator and the freezer. The refrigerator shelves inside and on the door make storage easy. And, the ice maker in the freezer is easily accessible.

Have had for only 2 days, but no complaints as far as space, looks and function. The only caution I would mention is that the door does not close automatically. You have to really make sure it's pushed closed, hard. Not great for kids I think, but it has an alarm so after a number of those I'm getting used to it. It cooled very quickly when first plugged in and the space is plentiful compared to my last fridge which was a side-by-side. Can't comment on the icemaker because I chose not to hook it up. Looks great, feels sturdy and definitely seals well. Am loving the bottom freezer but the dividers are pretty cheap-looking. Will see how they last.

We bought this fridge for it's width more than anything. We could not fit a standard 36" fridge in the space. Overall, I like it a lot and it solved the space issues we had in the kitchen. My only issues with it are that the fridge door does not continue to close when it's within a couple inches, you have to make sure you really push it closed. I'm not sure if the bolt is too tight or what, but lightly pushing it closed and walking away does not work. For that reason it would be nice if it chimed or something when left open. Luckily it only happened that it was left ajar one time and it was less than an hour. Now we are hyper aware and always make sure it completely closes. The temperature gauge sticker is not affixed really well and I'm honestly not sure where exactly to push to reset it when someone accidentally touches it and increases the temp. We basically just pressed around until it went back to 0 & 37. Lastly, the freezer is a little small, but it is what it is. With all that said, the fridge space is massive, the shelves are nice, and it made our kitchen feel a whole lot bigger.

After over an 8-month wait due to shipping delays stemming from the pandemic, the fridge arrived, and met all of our needs. It is in a corner, opening against a wall that our previous side-by-side's freezer door kept bumping into and made it hard to reach into. This new bottom-freezer model immediately resolved that problem. Even at the same outer dimensions as our side-by-side, this new fridge is so much more spacious. One thing we don't like is how the upper fridge door magnets are not as strong. Sometimes, closing the freezer normally (not slamming) will result in the fridge opening a crack. We need to keep checking to make sure it's pushed closed; it is level and doesn't close with any momentum behind it. Luckily there is a door alarm to tell us if this happens when we don't notice, but it is troublesome especially if we leave the room or house before the alarm sounds.

I absolutely love my new refrigerator! I was nervous after reading some reviews about it being noisy, not cold enough, and moving when the drawers are pulled but I have none of these issues. It is definitely cold enough! The drawers did move the refrigerator when opening but once you stabilize it by turning the knobs on the bottom it does not do that. It is quiet. I have gained so much space which amazes me because it fits in the same amount of space my old refrigerator did. It makes plenty of ice. Love the turbo cool feature! My freezer is now nicely organized and still has space for more! I could not be happier with my purchase! And just an fyi I am not a paid reviewer and I'm not doing this as part of a promotion. I'm a regular person who just bought a new refrigerator.

This is a nice basic refrigerator. Plenty of space and well laid out with cheese drawer, crispers and ice maker in the freezer section. Large storage spaces in the door. This refrigerator is a little noisier when running, but not objectionable to us and we have come to not notice it. Controls are convenient inside the door.

Good fit. Makes a terrible noise which keeps me up at night. All the door bins came cracked and need to be replaced. I do like the freezer down. The refrigerator came a month before the "estimated delivery date". That was great! I love all its' features, especially the bottom freezer. My only reason for giving it 4 stars and not 5 is that I don't think it keeps things as cold as it is supposed to. When I set the refrigerator to 34 degrees instead of the 37 that the factory sets it to it keeps it at 36-37 degrees. I've actually had to throw out a couple of things that spoiled that should not have at the colder temperature.

We got this to replace a French door type fridge and I'm really pleased with this purchase. The door is big and fridge spacious. It was packed well and arrived without any damage. It has a "soft close" to the door so the grandkids can't shut it too hard which I like also. I had to call for service the day after it was installed. The frig makes this loud squeaking noise. The service man says it's the fan, but I find it hard to believe that this was designed this way. My previous GE Frig worked for 21 years before I had to replace it and it never made such a loud noise.

We just received the refrigerator and are still waiting to load it up, but the inside appears to be quite large and has flexible shelf locations. The ice maker in the freezer made ice within a couple hours of plugging the appliance in. We look forward to many years of use. The only drawback is that we wanted the color to be bisque or almond to go with our kitchen, but those colors were not available, so we went with white.

Disappointed there is no place for a butter dish. Disappointed that the shelves are all one and not divided in case I need to refrigerate a large pan, which I do often. Miss a top shelf in the freezer. Very different from my old GE bottom freezer. Design on top will prohibit me from opening my cabinets above.

I've generally been tired of frozen, oddly shaped items falling out at me from my top freezer fridge. I'm also tall, so it's actually been hard to squat to find things on the top shelf. I suffer no longer.
The pull out drawer freezer stores everything I need without risk of toe injuries. I can also now see everything in the fridge while standing. Love it.

This product was just installed and had a terrible noise on the compressor. I had an extended warranty as well. GE would not fix it and told me I could buy a new one and have to pay a removal and disposal fee on top of that. Crap, crap crap. I love the look but the motor can be heard on the second floor of my house. Also the ice bin takes up unnecessary space. It stands off the side of the drawer by an inch and another inch on the inside of the space. It is wasting precious space. Other than that I think it works perfectly.

I love the bottom freezer idea. However, the designer made a few mistakes in my opinion.
First the refrigerator was a 1/2 taller than my previous one. Though the measurements were the same?? I believe this happened because GE added wheels underneath (which is good) but it affected the height of the fridge was did not fit under my cabinets. Also the vegetable bins are 2 inches shorter in width...why would that be a "good" idea to provide LESS SPACE.
