My dryer stays on washer link 100% of the time! Washer and dryer are stacked and I am 5'2" so reaching the dial is easy, but I can't always see what option is selected. With washer link, all I ever have to do is hit the start button and I know my clothes are on the right setting and I don't have to worry about it!

Dryer works well, much faster and quieter than my previous one. Does a great job of not over-drying the laundry.
One word of caution, don't bother with the side vent kit, it's a pain to install, doesn't stay in place, and doesn't actually save much space in the back.

We upgraded from a 15 year old washer/ dryer set, so maybe my bar was low, but this dryer works great! Our clothes are dry and fluffy in half the time our old dryer took, and there isn't a much heat lost through the side of the unit, either.

Husband sells appliances as a career, we purchased the washer and dryer pair for our new home. Washer was delivered and installed, faulty electronics, kept tripping the breaker as soon as pump was initiated. We reported the issue, took 3 weeks for the part to come in and repair was done in good time. Our sales provider as well as service went smoothly, brand new washer with faulty electronics was not expected but rectified. Washer is great! so many features and clothes are clean and spun amazingly! Love the load and go feature.

The lint trap is designed in such a way that drawstrings are very easily caught in the grate. This causes clothes to overly twist and can lead to breakage and damaging of other clothes in the load. We've had the unit for about 6 months now and have lost many items with drawstrings.
The app is somewhat useless. It takes a long time to establish comms with all ge appliances in your household before it lets you do anything with any particular appliance. For example, in order to check how much time is left on my dryer, I need to wait for the app to connect to my water heater?! But I can view recipes while I wait I guess? It's a weird app. Once I'm in, there is very little I can do with the app beyond see how much time is left. I can't, for example, start up a stopped dryer so my clothes don't wrinkle.

Very good product overall with great features, though probably too many. It would have gotten 5 stars were it not for the poorly designed SmartHQ app, which is supposed to provide wireless connectivity.
Wireless app is not good (SmartHQ), and was not properly designed to work with iOS. It consistently crashes during setup, therefore cannot be used at all.
