If you need a fridge for the garage or basement this is a fine an option - but nobody should buy this model if they plan to put it in their kitchen. Unless you really like friends and family that visit to comment how loud your fridge is - if that interests you then this is 100% the model for you!
Not only can I easily hear it sitting in my living room, a good 20+ feet from the thing, but I can hear it over music playing on my laptop two feet from my ears!

I've only had my refrigerator a few weeks but it's fine so far. The fingerprint resistant finish doesn't resist very hard because it's constantly got fingerprints. The LED lights aren't as bright as I would have thought but it keeps food cold and that really what it's for isn't it!

We've just installed this, so I don't have much to work off.
As far as fridges go, everything seems good. It looks good and has ample space.
A few qualms:
1) space in the freezer isnt designed well if you have the ice tray. You can either choose the very low area under the shelf (you have to remove what's in front to get to the back), or the very tall shelf area (which leaves a lot of wasted space.) Surely this area could he designed more efficiently.
2) I feel like the fridge needs another shelf. It has two installed, which if the top shelf is set to be me most efficient for, say, milk, you might be left with a wide gap between the other shelves. Another shelf could allow more storage, since most items aren't tall.
This sits out a few more inches than our last fridge as it's deeper, but not an issue.
Front is magnetic, which our last stainless steel wasn't.

Due to my galley size kitchen, I'm extremely limited on refrigerator size. Purchased another brand that when delivered, the only thing working was the light bulb. Was returned & purchased this one. This is NOT a stainless steel finish…not sure what it is but it's horrible. Will only clean with soap & water & shows every fingerprint.

Overall I'm very satisfied with this refrigerator. However, if you do not own another freezer, I would not recommend buying this model. The design of the freezer requires that you seat the shelf in a very low position in order to use the ice maker. The shelf sits only about two inches above the bottom of the freezer so you can't put very much under the shelf and it's hard to get things in and out of that space.

Like this one. It's smaller than my otger one but i seem to be able to fit just as much in fridge part. Love the large door shelves. Fits my gallon and half gallon pitchers without issue. Ice maker nice feature makes plenty for what we use.

Seeing I did not have a lot to choose from due to the size of the area I have for the appliance. Everything seems to work well, have not had any issues with its performance. So far, the only things that bother me are that ii is noisier than my previous one and it has metal feet in the front and has scratched up my wooden floor.

We've only owned this unit for 3 months, but so far there are no issues. We are using this as an extra unit in our newly remodeled basement and had space limitations. I had a few other choices but went with GE as it seemed the best choice for our needs. I wish it were a little less noisy but we aren't in the room a lot so I don't hear it often. I also wish the manufacturer would spend the money to include a light in the freezer. We are thrilled to finally have splurged on an ice maker. Ice tastes great as we also purchased a compatible GE filter. Now the unit needs to last a good long while and I'll be thrilled. Time will tell.

Freezer area is way too small and is further impacted by the ice tray. The fact that the vents in the back cannot be blocked whatsoever, or the freezer will malfunction, makes this a poor purchase for more than ONE RESIDENT'S usage. Typically found in apartments.

The refrigerator seems to follow the new energy guidelines but it's obnoxiously loud. Also the protruding door handles on both upper and lower doors aren't a smart design as you might hit your head when picking something from below. Steel color and built is good. Space seems more limited than my older fridge. Cools effectively.

The door hesitates to close unless you actually push it with purpose. Perhaps the hinges are too tight don't know. But the door will stay open if you leave it. Also the icemaker spout was not put in right and it leaked inside the freezer. I had to adjust it myself. Looks like the whole appliance was sloppily put together
