I absolutely love my GE refrigerator. The amount of room it has is awesome!! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the freezer handle comes off very easily. We've had to put it back on several times which is not hard you just slide it on. Despite that I'd purchase it again I love it!

I spent the extra money and got bottom freezer. Lots more room had a 30 now 33. I love having French doors, can put lots things on door. Dividers in freezer makes organization of food easy.

First off the freezer stopped working, Off for a couple of days. So I went to buy another one, well after I bought another one. The freezer started working again. So the next day then the lights stopped working. About a month after that, it went into some turbo cooling and broke the water filter by freezing it and froze all the food in the refrigerator part. Had to throw food away numerous times because of it doing that. The water dispenser works only when it wants to. Go to get water and nothing, then go back 5 minutes or so and there is the water. Plus the freezer builds up tons of ice, had the door replaced and still does it. I have no clue what is wrong with it, too many brain farts on it's mother board. Won't ever buy another one.

First off the freezer stopped working for a couple of days. I was already then shopping for a new one. Then the freezer came back on. Then the lights quit working, then they came back on. So then it goes into a turbo cooling mode, freezes all my food in the refrigerator part and breaks the water filter. Then you can't get any water from the filtered water. Only works when it wants to. Had that happen numerous times. I'm about ready for a totally different brand. What can you expect though, not made here. The thing is a piece of crap. You can't make this up.

Reviews are hard these days. Never sure what you are reading is what you are looking to purchase. Item number is above. This is a CR recommended item. Came packed in tight with tape holding everything. Nothing broken. The french door style is great. First try with the water on the inside wall. Other than having the door open while filling your glass/cup, works great and leaves the door with extra interior room. Enjoying two crisper drawers and the third wide drawer under the crispers the entire width. Seems like it holds a lot of food. A little trouble getting it level to keep the doors from going astray. Drawer in the freezer is handy. Ice maker pumps out the ice. We were told also that they couldn't mess with the copper line. It does make some strange noises.

This is the noisiest refrigerator we have ever owned. I accept the ice maker noise, but this thing gurgles for no reason and the fan or compressor running is just to loud. The features of the fridge are great. Lots of room, nice lighting.

Two weeks after installation it is running 4 to 5 degrees above the setting. We have it at 34 so that food does not spoil, it is hanging round 39 or 40. Hope the warranty service fixes it, but a 3 week wait for service. We bought this since it was so highly rated by Consumer Reports. Our older refrigerator wasn't keeping cold enough, so we bought this to replace it. I love that it is larger and has the majority of our regular foods at the top ⅔ of the unit. Our old one had the freezer on top and stooping for things on the bottom shelf was not easy. I'm new to French door refrigerators and am slowly getting accustomed to this one. I was limited in selections because I was trying to keep all my appliances black to match my color theme in the kitchen. This fridge maxed out our cabinet space and has a lot more storage. The handy slide shelf allows taller items to fit as needed. I love the ice maker in the bottom drawer, which is easy to get into. I didn't want to waste space by having an "in-door" water and ice system. The ice drawer slides back to gain access to all the frozen foods below it. We have an upright freezer in the garage, so I don't need much freezer space upstairs in the kitchen. I'm praying that this refrigerator holds up for many years, unlike our old one that lasted about 20. (We still have an antique Coldspot refrigerator in the basement that is over 80 old and still working like a champ!) They don't make refrigerator to last like that anymore!

I have only owned this refrigerator for less than a week but it is far superior to the previous one I had with a different brand name. It is almost the same size as my previous one but it is so much bigger inside and set up well to store everything. The freezer space is also very efficient.

I liked my old GE refrigerator (PFS22MIWABB) much better, purchased in 2007. The arrangement of drawers and shelves don't work for me and the shelves on the door are too deep: glass bottles rattle around when the door is opened or shut (I put a sheet of wrapping foam between the bottles). There is no butter keeper. The unit is deeper but the hinges at the top are so large that doors to the cabinet above can't open.
I choose this particular machine because the width had to fit into an existing opening and I needed the fridge in black to go with my other appliances. This was a floor model and the only unit I could find without waiting 3 months for one that might come in.

I think the refrigerator runs pretty loud. I was disappointed that the tray was broken when it was brought in and it has not been replaced after a week. Bottom freezer makes an awful lot of noise when pulling it out and squeals going back in.
All of the clear wrap still stuck in the seams which I'm still pulling out. After waiting as long as I did for the refrigerator to be delivered six months.. I'll somewhat disappointment! I would still recommend it because I like GE products and I like the setup inside to be able to utilize the space to my best advantage.

Good product. Ice maker and water dispenser are good features. Layout with three doors is very functional. We had problems with the handles on the doors falling off at first. Upon delivery of another appliance we mentioned it to the delivery crew and they fixed the apparent problem. The handles needed to be seated more properly on the mounting brackets. Good look with 3 other GE appliances.

I love my new fridge. We weren't able to get our first choice because of the backorders due to COVID, but I am so happy we found this one and at such a good price. It is huge. I can easily fit two watermelons and all of my sauces with the customizable shelves and cubbies. Even the cheese drawer and freezer cubbies have movable parts to customize the space. The only part I wish was different is the water dispenser. It is a little inconvenient to have to hold the container in one hand while pushing the dispenser button with the other, especially if you need to fill a large pitcher or waterbottle.

Have had GE Products for over 30 years. Have always been satisfied. Not happy with all the new features or where some of the items are located. Freezer and ice maker if I want to shut it off have to try to get all the way in the back of freezer drawer. Not easy for an older person, almost have to stick your head in. Should have put the switch somewhere up front!!!

Love it! Very easy to organize and get in and out of it. I was hesitant about bottom freezer but love it. The ice maker works great!
