We got this refrigerator a little over a year ago when our previous one failed. We like everything about it except for the location of the icemaker on/off switch. It's a good thing we are fairly flexible and have long arms, or the switch would be very difficult to access. It's at the very back of the freezer in the upper left corner. This requires either a deep bend or stoop, and a long reach to the back of the freezer. Someone short or with limited mobility would have trouble reaching it.

Love the slate finish... no fingerprints! Had some trouble getting temp set correctly... Food in refrigerator was freezing. Adjusted temp up and freezer temp up and all is good. Plenty of storage space. Ice maker is great.

My refrigertor is less than 5 years old and the compressor is not covered. To replace it, it's going to cost over half of what I paid for the refrigerator. I am so disappointed. This is a major component of the refrigerator and should be covered for at least 5 years.

Love our GE! We went with the inside water dispenser because the outside is plastered with grandchildrens drawings. The inside doors have adjustable shelves that adjust for your condiments and your wine! Can easily fit a large turkey in there to thaw out. The freezer is more than adequate and I can't rave enough on the ice maker since it's the first time I've had one!

This 24.8 cub ft French door slate color refrigerator really has exceeded our expectations. It's so convenient to have the refrigerator section on top. The lighting is super bright making it easier to see and find items. We use the tiny water spigot on the left side much more than we thought, and I'm able to fill a glass one-handed but can see why others would want to use both hands for this. The freezer with the movable tray/drawer is conveniently laid out. The tray moves in a bit of a clunky fashion but doesn't effect the overall operation or function. Very pleased with this purchase. Most excited I've ever been for an appliance-and yes, I'm a bit embarrassed to admit that.

We are very impressed with our new refrigerator. We didn't know what to expect, but it exceeds our expectations. We love the look and feel of it. The refrigerator looks great both inside and outside. However, it is very noisy. We have had service techs out twice and they say it is the pan (bottom) which is very thin. There is nothing they can do to lessen the noise due to how thin the pan is made.

I just got installed the first part of January 2022 and I am really enjoying my new appliance.
I especially like the lights inside the appliance so you can actually see what's in the drawers. No fingerprints on front is great as my grandkids play with all my photos on it. This is a nice refrigerator. I have never had one with a freezer on the bottom decided to give it a try. I have had this for a month now and I am not convinced there is more room in this one than a side by side. I also decided to try the water dispenser on the inside. This feature is nice but the problem is you have to "Hold" the button down the entire time you are filling up your cup. Depending on how much water you need this can be awhile. One more note on the freezer on the bottom.....if an ice cube falls through the cracks and lands on the bottom the freezer will not close properly. I do love the fingerprint resistant stainless steel...this is a must!

This is the first French door unit I have had. I love the room and ability to place large cookie sheet straight in. Plenty of storage in each door. The bottom freezer unit seems a little smaller than my side by side (the reason for 4 stars). Overall I love this refrigerator and the finish.

i really enjoy how bright the interior is! It has a lot of great features and lots of room. The only thing that I would change is to divide the big drawer into 2 drawers so that both doors do not need to be open to access it. Just a tiny inconvenience.
