I love my new GE fridge. Mind you I've only had it a month so I can't say how it'll be long term, but as of a month later, I can say it's quiet, keeps the food cold, makes great ice quickly.
I love the LED light and how it brightens - pretty cool.
Practical-love the shelves in the freezer. They are full shelves…not wire racks.
The fridge space is also optimized with no big bulky light in the middle and the water filter compartment is small, out of the way.
I wanted a clean front, so I love the water dispenser inside and the ice maker below. Highly recommend.
Now, let's hope it continues to give me the 5 star rating as far as durable. I am hopeful since I love the overall fridge.

We purchased a new custom-built home that included this refrigerator. We immediately noticed a high-pitch squealing sound and dents in the face of the left stainless door. The door was replaced and servicing was ordered to address the squealing sound. The service rep visited and said parts would take a couple months to acquire. A month later, dents appeared in the new left door and the squealing noise worsened and became unbearable. I recorded the squealing sound and after our local dealer heard the recording, they ordered a new fridge which resolved both problems temporarily. Five months later, dents appeared on the left door once again. Keep in mind, we have no kids, always use handles to open and close the doors and have no magnets or anything on the face of the fridge that would cause denting the door. We are once again frustrated with the door issue and wish we had upgraded the model in hopes to have thicker front panels that wouldn't dent. We will be contacting our local dealer in hopes of exchanging the door or potentially upgrading the unit to a highly quality model.

Our existing refrigerator died after 10 years (not a GE model) and we selected a GE refrigerator because it was available from stock. After 24 hours since installation we are very happy to report that both the refrigerator and freezer sections chilled very rapidly. The icemaker has already filled the ice box, the chilled water has no after-taste, and the overall quality is better than expected. I have only positive comments about the features. The documentation in the owner's manual is clear and provides adequate precautions about proper care of things like the fingerprint resistant exterior.

Waited for this fridge over a month New Orleans perks. I was concerned about how large the ice cube tray was takes up almost half the shelf! I could use that for so much more food.
