Overall this has been a nice little dishwasher. We live in a small house built in the 50's and the kitchen is miniscule. We have very little cabinet space as it is, so the portable unit was just what we needed.
I took off one star because after 2 years of use I just had to replace the lower spray arm because it started cracking along the seam which allowed high pressure water to blow past the door seal and puddle on the floor. $20 dollars for the part including shipping isn't really a big deal, just seems like a short time for this part to go out.

Did not have space to install a built in dishwasher. It meets the convenience of having a dishwasher without losing precious cabinet storage space in our very small kitchen. And it cleans the dishes just as good as our previous built in dishwasher in our previous kitchen.

It never ceases to amaze me on how cheaply made dishwashers have become. The quality is lackluster, and the pricing is a presidential suite. I hope they offer a longer discharge hose, cause its only like 3 feet at best, so unless you can place this directly in front of your sink. It'll never connect otherwise.

This is our second portable dishwasher, and it has been performing very well for the past couple months. We use it nearly every day and haven't had any issues with it. The connection to the faucet leaks a little if the red button is compressed too tightly, but that's the only (very minor) issue. The silverware basket is especially great. The dishes get clean, and we have an extra worktop. We're pleased with our purchase.

We've had this dishwasher for several months and it's done a great job. The only negative we have is that the soap latch catches sometimes and won't open. Since it takes hours to run a cycle it can be very frustrating to have to do it again.

This dishwasher has a pretty short quick cycle and does a good job cleaning dishes. The only trick I've had to learn is to run water tap until water is very hot before hooking up the hose. If you don't, the soap dispenser might not open or soap might now dissolve. We are very happy with it as a short term solution in our kitchen while we are waiting to reno.

Overall I like my new GE portable dishwasher. The digital controls are easy to use. Dishes are coming out clean (even with dried on gunk). Only disappointment is the rack design. I'd rather have uniform divider posts versus various heights and spacing. Also wish the power cord was a bit longer so I could use the same outlet as previously.

I like the fact that it is very quiet when it's running. I've had trouble making one of the lower rack wheels to stay on and it seems more difficult to pull out and push back than my last dishwasher. I don't like the way the lower rack is set up to place the dishes. I also wish dishwasher manufacturers would design the silverware basket to fit in the door rather than take up rack space. I have never had a GE Portable Dishwasher before and unless design changes are made, this may be the last.

After the delivery guys left I tried to roll the dishwasher around to laid it and it wouldn't move. I lifted up the corner that seemed to be locked in place and the wheel fell out. A friend helped me get it back in the slot where the wheel snaps in is too big and it doesn't snap in place so the machine does not move smoothly. It is nice and quiet and cleans well. The cabinet cover also seems to be dented or positioned off a little bit. The first time I ran it the dishes didn't dry so I purchased the jet dry liquid and filled up the tank. Still didn't seem to be drying so I tried the sterilize setting and let it sit with the door closed for an hour after the wash and the dishes were dry.

Firstly, I'm satisfied with the dishwasher's overall performance. The "Boost" feature doesn't work well if you're water isn't already piping hot. Also it is very quiet for a portable. Secondly, all manufacturers should provide information regarding faucet compatibility- my fairly new pullout faucet could NOT be attached. There are no adaptors…and I was advised by the faucet manufacturer if anything was attached it would void the warranty. Thirdly the adaptor provided with the dishwasher only fits standard faucet spouts, but NOT ALL FAUCETS HAVE STANDARD SPOUTS! My new faucets require a 3/4"-27 female adaptor, which was not easy to determine or find…and yes I did visit my local plumbing shop, just like the manual said. Fourthly there are design flaws - it's a PORTABLE dishwasher so it would be nice if it had HANDLES of some kind to help move it to the sink. Also the controls are hidden…really…you have to open the door to see cycle and time left. Overall based on manufacturers and models available I would ultimately choose this dishwasher again, but portable dishwashers do have their challenges.

Washer stopped draining after 7 days. Based on the manual it was possible the unit had a bad control board too.
So wife called the store. They were quick to schedule a replacement. Took a couple weeks, but given the staffing issues these days its understandable.
The 2nd unit failed too. This time after FOUR days. Again, the unit won't drain. And, based on the manual and what the display is showing me, this unit's control board may have problems as well.
The GE customer 800 number is 800-GECARES. Yeah, if GE cared they would design & manufacture better appliances.

I love this dishwasher! It works SO much better than our last one, and the stainless steel inside is a huge plus. The Piranha food disposer is amazing, and we haven't had any trouble like our last one with getting clogged. The only "problem" is that it's so quiet, it's hard to tell when it's on (especially with the hidden top controls). We have accidentally opened the door in the middle of a cycle more than once. No problem though, just press Start again, and it starts right back up where it left off. The autosense feature works great too.

This dishwasher is a Superbeast when used with the recommended Cascade platinum dishwasher pods and rinse aid. I should have put my old Maytag in retirement years ago! I would definatly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a new portable dishwasher. This was a great price and the delivery was free. The only installation required for this item is attaching the casters and they just pop right on with some pressure and its as easy as that. Be aware, the new dishwashers now have "condensation drying" which REQUIRES the use of a good rinse aid to properly dry the dishes. This dishwasher does not have a heating element but once you try it, you will be AMAZED at how this feature works. I hope this helps someone out there looking for a new protable dishwasher! Thank you Lowe's!

We love GE products and after reading reviews, knew this dishwasher would be great! We live in an old farmhouse and have been without a dishwasher since 2020. Not the end of the world, but after having a baby, we were tired of washing dishes. This dishwasher is great, we wheel it right in front of the stove then back to the corner, where it looks great! We chose stainless steel so it would match our other appliances. The only downside is that it doesn't dry, but at this point, we would rather dry with a hand towel than hand wash dishes!
