Just a simple, basic fridge.The bottom door shelf is very narrow but the top two hold gallon containers, up to five. Spacious inside with cheese drawer that slides left to right. Freezer has plenty of room without ice-maker which can be added as an accessory. Top and bottom handle attachments are somewhat loose but not where you grab and this became a 'who care's' issue after about two days. Only complaint is there is one control for both fridge and freezer temperatures. Energy Star rating helps with operating expense. If you can still think for yourself and don't need an internet-linked fridge to remind you to buy milk, want Energy Star, inexpensive but reasonable quality, no frills product then this would be a worthy candidate.

Great refrigerator and fits perfectly into our space! The ice maker is sold separately and unfortunately the R.A.S Logistic company that GE chooses to use is terrible! It took me 3 attempts to get this ice maker installed. Once installed they used the incorrect sized water feed tube and had a mess to clean up!

We used to have the garage fridge. Well this one is in our breakfast area for stocking during Covid- less trips to store means less exposure. I love the slate color and I can actual use magnets for grandkid pics. My desk is in this area also and I do not hear any noise while this beauty is running. Can't beat the price. Very spacious inside with easy to clean shelves. Seems to be well insulated and doesn't run as often as my old refrigerator. And no fingerprints! (Except for on the handles but those are quick and easy to keep clean/fingerprint free)

My original G.E.refrigerator was 19 years old and still running!!! And it never needed repair.
So I ordered this one which is very similar to my old one. My old G.E. had a freezer light and a shelf within the freezer for ice cube trays. I wish my new one had these features which is why I only gave it 4 stars. I love the new Slate color, it looks clean all the time.

The freezer gadget quit sealing after a few months. Without warning I will walk in and find the freezer open. i have thrown out a lot of food. This was the only refrigerator I could find last summer so I bought it. Wish I had waited.

This fridge is a basic unit that holds a family size meals, leftovers, and all the extra's. Smooth door opening and feels very secure when closed, the LED is very nice and doesn't blind me when i raid the fridge at night.

Purchased because I liked the look of slate. Had to have the fan in the freezer replaced in less than a month as it ran very loud. Even after the replacement I find that the unit runs louder than I would like. However, the look, interior and size of unit is what I wanted.

This was a replacement for a 40 years+ refrigerator that had a faulty thermostat. I have it on the recommended setting, and it is doing a good job of keeping food cold. The freezer section averages about 0 degrees, sometimes goes below 0. The fresh food section averages 40 degrees or a little lower. One downside is that the freezer section does not have a separate ice cube tray section. One problem that I have with it is with the gasket on the door. It is pushed in and not creating a seal in one corner. I plan to contact customer support about this to see of there is a remedy for this. If this can be fixed, I would say that it is a very value, and I would recommend it.

I was looking for a basic fridge/freezer without an ice maker that didn't look generic. The color option was really nice and is perfect. We use this as our secondary fridge and it has ample space in both the freezer and fridge. We are very happy with it.

Got this to replace our second refrigerator in the basement. It was perfect size for getting down the stairs. It was the perfect size for storing extra groceries. Not too big not too small. So easy to get up and running. Looks fantastic. Love the way the interior is set up. The sliding middle drawer is a nice feature. I like mostly that the ice maker is a add on feature. I did not want to lose freezer space and did not need an ice maker in a second storage refrigerator.

Very nice to add glass shelves feature with a moveable deli tray to a basic refrigerator. Additional color scheme "Slate" with resistant finger prints is GREAT! While looks are subjective, these features are outstanding! Out of the box, installation was smooth, the refrigerator runs quieter, definitely more roomy than previous model "side by side." If you do not use "water out of the door" this is a great choice.

because of living off the grid a low energy consumption refrigerator is a necessity. this seems to be perfect as since installed we have not seen any significant change in our electric consumption and this was a BIG surprise as we thought surely we would see a noticeable change...having struggled with a small propane refrigerator for years, this is like heaven!! i do need to be mindful of the handle on the freezer when standing upright after removing items from the lower section!
