It is loud. Hope it won't be this loud later. It is hard to clean. I used stainless steel spray after removing the protective plastic and the door is streaked. Tried a couple times. The plastic is stuck behind the seals and elsewhere, hanging off the door from the freezer and on both sides of the door. I am hoping the installer will come out and finish removing it. I don't want to break a seal. I can see that they didn't finish because they probably couldn't get it out. Wonder if it's best to just return the fridge. This concerns me as to the long run ramifications.

Lack of separate refrigerator and freezer controls. I was not aware of the fact that there was only one control to regulate both freezer and refrigerator at the same time when I bought unit. This limits the ability to regulate freezer compartment without changing refrigerator temperature.

I understand that new fridges supposedly make more noise than older fridges; however, I find this fridge to be very loud and am still trying to get the issue resolved. About every 50 minutes, it sounds like a loud motor is running, which last for almost half an hour. It's a continuous cycle of noise. Had I known I would encounter this problem with a brand new fridge, I would have kept my old fridge, which never gave me any trouble in 14+ years. I'm so disappointed!

Love the exterior look and interior lighting of refrigerator. I like the dark trim and seals. I wish the freezer had light. The motor is louder than I would like and runs more often than previous refrigerator, I understand that is in keeping with better energy efficiency (per manual), but quieter would be nice.

When I open up the refrigeration, I must always check the upper door where the freezer is as I always pops open. Cannot clise the door no matter how gentle I close it, the top door always opens up. Must always at times hold it close, as it opens up a slight bug enough to ruin the good in the freezer.
When I called I did not get someone to check out the frig but was told to up 1 notch on the frig as it will raise the temp and it will seal the door. Not so.

My apartment installed this fridge and it's about twice as loud as the old one. A basic measurement says it runs around 62db to 65db which means its louder than my TV and I can not comfortable talk to someone once it starts running. Maybe would be OK in a garage but definitely not inside your home.
