We bought this during the pandemic and didn't really have a chance to look around as there were not others available. We really like this fridge though so we're not that upset about the lack of choices. What is upsetting is that the handle on the fridge doors and the freezer keep coming off. Since we have had this I have had to tighten the handles at least 100+ times and that is unacceptable.
My granddaughter has fallen from having to pull hard to open it and the handle falling off. If they could get this one thing fixed I would probably change my rating to a higher score but right now I can't.

So far I'm happy. My husband however, isn't as thrilled with the temperature of the water that's dispensed. He feels the water from our old fridge was colder and the temperature of our old fridge was colder then this one. At first it was definitely way to warm, so we adjusted the thermostat. It still hasn't gotten to the set temp, but it is colder than it was, but my husband isn't satisfied. We haven't called GE and made a service request (just to tired after a major reno), it cools and works, so if hubby isn't going to bother, I'm not until it becomes a problem. The space is definitely much larger than the old counter depth fridge we had and that's a major plus. So far I'm happy with my purchase, but it hasn't even been a month. Time will tell

There is no place for butter. Also, there is more space in door, but that limits the shelf width. No dedicated raw meat storage. Also, I don't recommeded appliances to anyone because none of them last very long. Plastic shelves are cheap for the price of the fridge.

This model apparently does not come with a "basket" on the inside the freezer door even though it has the brackets for it. We're told only the Profile version has it.

We love the space and color of the refrigerator. The only change would be the ice maker is SLOW to make ice. And dispensing the ice is messy. Our water filler from the front also drips all the time after each use. Overall it is nice.

The refrigerator lost cooling 5 days after delivery and the issue is yet to be resolved. Parts being ordered, delays etc etc - it's a nightmare if your product fails after 48 hours if purchased in store. GE refuses to replace it until 3 repair attempts.

The cooling went away after 5 days. The local GE technician attempted 1 repair, but problem reappeared. Requested a return/exchange but GE refuses to do this until they attempt 3 repairs. 5 parts ordered & a second visit is scheduled. What a mess - food got spoiled, parts taking days to arrive & no clear resolution in sight. I was very patient with the first repair, but this looks to be an ongoing thing and trial & error swapping parts. They should replace this faulty unit instead of going through all this diagnosis at the customer premise. All our appliances are brand new GE. Now I'm worried!!!

Due to COVID and all the delays we heard about while building our house in 2020, we purchased our GE appliances early and took delivery when they were available. This ended up being a few months prior to our install with building delays. Now, less than one year being in our house and having this fridge installed, the water dispenser stopped working. After getting it serviced, we found out it is an internal wiring issue and we'd need a whole new fridge if we wanted to continue using the water dispenser and ice maker. Since GE warranty is one year from the fridge leaving their warehouse, GE is not fully covering the replacement of their fridge that stopped working properly less than one year being used.

Our new GE Refrigerator failed after 35 days; the day before Thanksgiving!! Compressor failure. So far 3 weeks to fix, wrong parts 2x. Wife not happy!! Also when it arrived there was yellow foam insulation coming out of the door edges, 2 hrs of carefully cleaning the edges additionally both of the doors were mounted really crooked and the hinges had to be re mounted.

It looks fantastic. But freezer door is difficult to open and seems like it will eventually break. Water dispenser still drips after six months. Freezer interior is basically a dumping bin with one slide-out door. Refrigerator interior is ok for single person or small family but would be too small for medium or large family. Doesn't come with blank filter cartridge.

I just replaced my 3 year old LG. Never Again. Now all my appliances are all GE. This new refrigerator meets all my needs. You have many adjustable shelves also the same on the doors. This is a quiet unit as well. Great water & ice production. Thanks GE. Also I am purchasing GE`S extended warranty. The 5 year plan starts after the 1 year factory warranty expires for a total of 6 years for only 193.00 Which is an additional 1more than what the local retailer offered me @ the same price.

I'm happy with this product. It has an alarm to let me know if the doors were not closed all the way. I do wish the doors did close with better suction, because it is annoying when you get the alarm when you think you closed a door only to find out you didn't push it in enough to actually close. It is also a bit noisy, but all in all I'm happy with this product so far. It does have some features like everything being plastic that has a cheap feel to it for the price.

The refrigerator doors have to be closed very hard in order for them to shut all the wall. It doesn't have much cold water in it at any give. Time. Nothing special about this refrigerator and it was expensive. I like my Samsung better and it was half the cost.

We've had this refrigerator for 8 months, if I could return it, I would. The ice maker can't keep up with 2 adults and if we install a second ice maker, the freezer would have less space for food. We bought a counter ice maker that we use. The dispenser always drips after you use it, with a Slate color, the water spots are highly visible. The freezer door is super hard to open, if you have someone over 75, consider something else. Door space is too small, one side (left) has minimal storage due to the ice maker being in that door.

This refrigerator is the same size but cabinet depth as the one we replaced. However, it seems to have a lot more room. I would give it 5 stars except that I have to use two
hands to pull out freezer drawer which is only 1/3 full.

We love it, however the ice and water despenser writing needs lighting, it is dark and difficult to read. It is minor however and we still love it.
