Hands down a fantastic range, especially compared to the Maytag I replaced with this GE Range Slide in Gas, black slate. My Bengal kitten cannot turn of the burners and try to asphyxiate us! Burner knobs must be pushed in and turned and they are on the front of the range. The digital control panel has a lock, so the Bengal cannot turn on the oven etc... The black slate is beautiful, does not show finger prints like stainless steel. Another bonus is the metal below the burners is a charcoal gray rather than black that shows everything. The size of the burners, seems to heat up faster and hotter than the Maytag. I now have the GE refrigerator, microwave oven and range all matching and awesome.

Let me start by saying this is a nice stove. GE is known for quality. We bought this stove because of the color offered.Obviously the person who designed this stove doesn't cook. The reason I gave it 4 stars is it's a poor design. They have both large burners in the front. Most people use the small and medium size burners the most. I have long arms and this is still quite a reach. I consider that to be somewhat unsafe. The large burners should be in the back or at least one in front and the other in back diagonally. If I'm using both large burners I can't use the smaller ones. I would like to see this offered in a double oven also.

The style is beautiful and we've loved the features. The only reason it's not perfect is we've only had it a few weeks and the stove grates are already showing wear. I definitely did not anticipate that when we purchased it. Also the alarms are so quiet you basically have to be standing very near with no other sound in the room to hear it.
Otherwise the functionality of it have been great and the overall look is sharp. We enjoy the air fryer use and the stove/oven works as you'd expect.
Ovens these days for slide ins don't have the overlapping stove so there is a itty bitty gap. I see online you can get inserts. I feel that should come with the stove! They are not cheap for nice ones.

We've been using this oven for a few weeks now with no issues. I like that the big burners are both at the front of the oven. Very powerful burners so far and the oven cooks slightly faster than most ovens so it retains heat very well. I highly recommend this product. This was the stove I wanted but couldn't get because of Covid-19 delay with most appliances. I "settled" for another brand so we could close on our new home build! I was not happy! Until I found out I could return my previous package for the one I wanted! I am beyond pleased with this entire kitchen package from GE. This has to be the most fingerprint proof finish ever! I am very particular & this is one of the reasons I was unhappy with my previous selection. This stove/oven makes great artisan pizzas with an extra high setting on the oven. The knobs are placed in the right spot to keep you from bumping into them & turning it too high or even off like my other stove I "settled" for. I also had considered getting a non stick mat to place around the burners to prevent spillage from sticking, but so far that hasn't happened. It seems to be virtually sticky proof!!

NEVER bought a stove before or even thought about it but our very old kitchen got a complete face lift from the ceiling bulkheads to the subfloor. I grew up around GE so I associated it with good quality but even so, I researched lots of other brands but ended up on coming back home to GE and I wasn't disappointed with the JGS760FPDS. To avoid any problems and to get the most out of the machine I carefully read the instruction manual and highly recommend doing so. Take your time. It'll be worth it. I keep it clean and have no complaints. Even contractors coming in to finish the kitchen have commented about how good it looks but she's more than just a pretty face. Oven fried chicken that would take an hour is golden crispy done in 20 - 25 minutes with the Air Fry.
It's a bad stove.

It's been a nightmare to get this product replaced. It broke after 3 days and nor GE or Home Depot have taken responsibility for this expensive stove. We have kids at home and not able to cook almost a month now. We have spent so many hours on the phone with representatives from both companies and they keep sending us to nowhere.
We had people checking the stove and "confirming" that it doesn't work.
Terrible costumer service, we will tell our experience to all our friends and family to help them avoid buying it.
