Can't review appliance because it's been a month a GE contracted installers (USPS) have made 3 trips and said they don't know how to install a double oven and they said parts are missing? They said I need a GE tech.

My prior experiences with GE were all excellent. But this oven is badly designed:
1. It takes too long to preheat, and to assuage user impatience, it signals it's at temp 75 degrees before it is. Repair guy said just assume 30 min. minimum to preheat, regardless of what visual display and "ding" tell you. Can ruin food!
2. Extension rack really dumb and impossible to use. What's the purpose? Asked Consumer Support for help and they were hopeless. A waste of time.
3. User manual has to be requested, and it's not very good (especially compared to my prior GE oven manual).

It is great to be able to cook an item for the time and temperature the recipe calls for and it is done. The time in really easy to set. I love the warming feature as we often cook large amounts of fish and need to keep some warm while others cook.

replaced our old GE double wall oven with the new one in less than an hour. the old one still wroks fine but we needed a cosmetic upgrade as we recently remodeled our kitchen. the new features are quite an upgrade as the wifi connectivity allows us to pre-set the oven on our way home from work....great for picking up take-out food on the way home.

Replacing a 25-year-old oven, comparisons are inevitable. After just a few weeks, I am still getting used to adjusting times when baking (for example, identical cookies used to take 21 minutes and now 16).
Since this is a double oven, I wish it had two timers (as my previous one did).

The no clean racks are terrible in this oven! They will not slide in and out easily and are scratching up the inside of my $3000 oven. This is a terrible flaw in the design! I should be sent all new racks that will slide.

Cooks great and love the rack that rolls out. Easy to clean. Heat seems evenly dispersed throughout the oven. Only issue is the timer is too quiet to hear when it goes off. I have even set it to the loudest setting. We love to cook and will enjoy our new oven.
