As a dryer it seems fine. However, since haviing it installed on May 18th we have had GE service called out twice. First issue was a crack in the plastic by the lint trap. Second issue is occasionally the dryer will continue to tumble after the door had been opened. also had to have the door loosened as it was very tight when it arrived. Service person in our area is very personable and good but sadly, I am on a first name basis with him now.

Have only had this dryer for a week, with 2 loads in the dryer. After being spoiled with my GE Profile washer and dryer lasting almost 20 years...We bought this model. My only recommendations would be for GE to design a larger vent screen, that is easier to remove and insert, and a door latch that doesn't stick. But other than that it is a great dryer.

First of all it is huge for drying big comforters and bedding than my old dryer, but the only thing I got get use to it's energy saving, so certain settings dry cool air instead of just straight hot, which I don't mind. Also the dryer has varying timers to different drying settings that are too short on time for my large loads of laundry whereas others are just right. I feel it's about familiarizing yourself with the machine because overall I love the fact I can do large loads of laundry and my bill is actually lower so it's no lie that it is an energy saver. This dryer is amazing if you got big family or even small family that has too much laundry to do. Surprisingly it is a very quiet dryer if you had super old one like I did.

Reviews were great, that is the reason I decided to purchase this dryer. However, I am not completely happy with my purchase for several reasons. first it squeaks when the clothes are tumbling and has since day one. the door is very hard to open and close. I literally have to slam it them the dryer sounds like a tin can, definitely not worth the price.
