It looks very nice. It's is however the loudest refrigerator we have ever had. If we push really hard against the door it quiets down but we can't live our lives holding the frig door.
The water inside the door is awkward and leaks when we fill a glass. We are requesting service and will circle back if they fix the issues.

We like it. A little noisy and they do not remove the plastic from the sheet metal before they assemble it so it is a bit of a job to get it off from the edges where it meets another part.

Had this less than 5 months and it just stopped cooling. Noise is coming from the back of the unit. Taking two days to get a service person with the extended warranty. We will be losing hundreds of dollars on spoiled food. We loved the refrigerator until it just stopped working. I'm used to refrigerators lasting for decades not months. JUNK.

I just received second refrigerator in the last 2 weeks. First refrigerator, the freezer would not cool down below 52 degrees. Received replacement refrigerator this week and temperature on door will not show actual temperature. I did speak to a service repair person that explained this model does not show actual temperature. I find that very weird because first refrigerator did ??? Also when receiving second refrigerator it came with shelving that does not even go with this model ? French doors are very hard to close on this model and do not line up evenly. Needless to say, they are picking up this refrigerator this coming week. I have had all GE Profile appliances for 20 years and now I am going to make a change to a more reliable brand.

Like the water feature does not take up any space. Looks great, fingerprint resistant is a nice upgrade. The freezer is nice along with ice. The only complaint is how hard the top doors close. You cannot just swing it shut you definitely have to push them closed.

The refrigerator was installed on April 16th of this year, working wonderfully and looking great in my kitchen (hence the 2 stars). Then comes this past Friday, June 10th and we notice that both the fridge and freezer are no longer cooling. Scheduled an appointment ASAP, which meant the earliest they would come would be on June 15th. Compressor is no good, so they are delivering new parts that will come June 25th the latest (supposedly) and their earliest installation appointment is June 28th that will take about 2 hours. So there goes almost a month of no fridge or freezer and uncertainty about the future. I chose GE because its reputation as a reliable and consistent company convinced me to spend more than $3000 on a "quality" product. A "quality" product that did not even make the 2-month mark in my kitchen as a brand new appliance.

It seems to be of excellent quality. There is nothing tacky or cheap looking about it. I am absolutely thrilled about the way it fits next to my counter and the wall on the side.
The bin design is not made for vegetarians as the meat bin is huge and the veggie and fruit bins are not, but it seems to be keeping these items fine even if they are not in the bin. I like the ice bin and the way it comes out so easily, but it is a bit small. In some ways that is good, because old ice tastes bad. This way, the ice is fresh. I don't use much ice, so if I do have to throw it out anyway, It was hard to take out that whole icemaking unit. This bin is so-o easy and the bin fills back up quickly. If you plan to entertain more than a few people, just remember to save some up a day or so ahead of time.
I am so glad I did not get refrigerator with ice and water in the door. My last fridge had that, and it always made a mess. In addition, our water is hard, so it eventually left hard water stains that I could not get out.

The refrigerator stopped working after 3 months. It took a week to get a technician out and he determined it was the compressor. It took another 2 weeks for the parts to be delivered and the fridge repaired. The repair took over two hours. The next morning, it was dead because it blew a circuit. It continued to blow the dedicated circuit after just a few hours until I finally just didn't reset it anymore. GE finally agreed to replace the fridge and it was delivered today, exactly one month after the original fridge failed. I am now having the other problem I see in the reviews and questions where I cannot see the actual temperature on the display.
Refrigerator was purchased by the builders of my new home.

This refrigerator was fine until it stopped cooling. After FIVE service visits from a GE authorized service company, it STILL FAILED TO WORK because the coolants leaked out. There was a 2-3 week gap between each service call as new parts were ordered, so I had no functioning refrigerator for well over two months. It appears GE designed a product that can't be repaired. DO NOT BUY!
GE asks if I would recommend this product to a friend. No, I wouldn't even recommend it to an enemy.

Very disappointed with brand new GE Profile refrigerator. Waiting for a new compressor to be installed by June 1. We did get a quick response to our call and technician was here in less than a week but it is taking weeks to get new part delivered… besides refrigerator we bought a gas range and a dishwasher. Gasket on range stove came off and temperature probe broke. What's next GE? We thought we were purchasing quality products of the GE Profile line.

Pleasantly quiet. Deli tray would have been better split into two as both doors have to be opened to get to the tray. As to be expected the freezer compartment is a little restricted in volume as it houses the ice maker, but not a deal breaker.

We are very happy with our new refrigerator. Having the water dispenser inside is much better. With our old refrig. there was always water splashed all over the door. Also having the ice in the freezer and not adding that extra freezer section into the upper door will make for a much better product. And because of this change the unit is so quiet.

Our family have been GE customers since the 1950's. Our first appliances came from Laninga's in Byron Center, MI. More recently from George's in Kalamazoo. We needed to replace our 19 year old GE Profile Side by Side Model PS123MGPA and we did so by going back to George's Appliance in Kalamazoo and purchase a PWE23KYNHFS 23 cf French Door unit. I love this frig of course my old one was was about 28 years old so this is definitely an improvement. My only problem is the deli drawer. If you pull it out a little too far it's difficult to get back in. The first time I did this I had to look it up in the on line owner's manual which was kind of a pain. So now I'm very careful not to pull it out too far.

Most refrigerators are great when new. This one is no exception. BUT!
Well over 3 grand out the door, and then I find out that there is a water filter that needs to be changed every 6 months. GE has made sure that you buy their new style branded filter, which costs over $50. If you buy GE's older style filter, it won't work because the new ones are micro chipped and the old ones are not. The appliance 'knows' if you have the new chipped filter or the older almost identical filter without a chip. Old style filter is $12. Chipped filter is over $50. No more GE products for us. Dishwasher is near its end of life, but it will not be a GE product that replaces it.

this my second under warranty the doors still dont line up right and the bottom draw you have open both doors to get in seems like a waist of energy, other that seems ok

The refrigerator was delivered in excellent condition. Love the look of stainless steel. The inside is spacious with more than enough room for all cold items. We chose to receive a water spout on the inside and ice delivery to freezer. The refrigerator worked efficiently for cooling the top and bottom. Love the lights to illuminate the inside of fridge. We have easy to reach ice and easy to reach food & drink items! We have used GE appliances for many years and will continue to do so!
