We were looking for a counter-depth refrigerator when we remodeled after our kids left home. We chose the Profile model for its freezer on the bottom and ice/water dispenser on the door. When the refrigerator arrived, we learned that the inside door space on the left is extremely limited--think a child's juice box-size--making that space not very usable. We're adjusting to the limited inside space and are glad we don't have those abandoned mystery dishes at the backs of shelves any more because we can see everything inside. The freezer section is proportionately small, meaning we have to be careful of "stocking" up on frozen goods. The matte black finish is much easier to polish than my old stainless steel fridge--fingerprints wipe away with a damp cloth. Overall, it will work well for my husband me.

I've only had this refrigerator a couple months and today I had a spill that leaked under the large glass shelf on top of the two drawers. I took it all apart to clean it and suddenly the glass evaporated in my hands to a pile of tiny square clunks of glass. I was stunned. I've never had a glass shelf disintegrate in my hands - I've never actually broken a glass shelf in my life! I feel this really must have been a defective piece of glass. My first time cleaning it and a brand spanking new fridge!

I would love to say this is a great purchase but for us it is not. I purchased this model in 2019 from Bray and Scarff. It was fine until about 1 and a half year in. The refrigerator would randomly make a very loud constant noise that would last up to 30 seconds. I first thought it would stop but if did the opposite, it got progressively louder, lasting longer and occurred more frequent with time. I finally called Bray and Scarff and thankfully we purchased a warranty. Well the have been here twice to service it and the same thing is still happening. It is a very loud motor sound that gets progressively louder, oh and now there is a constant hum along with the random loud motor. Another new problem, the water that comes out of the fridge is now very, very slow. We keep a stash of filters and change them as prompted. For $3000 I expected better. The older fridge we had was fine but it was old and we wanted something more modern. Well old wins the race because this refrigerator has been more problems than any fridge I have every known of in my lifetime.

We originally purchased this same model 2.5 years ago. Unfortunately, the temperature control system went out (e.g., "totaled" in insurance language, however the Costco warranty covered everything, so we purchased the exact same model since we like the features so much. Until the temperature problem, the refrigerator freezer was very easy to use, held a lot of food, and was versatile in shelf arrangement for cooling large items sometimes.

The whir or hum is a bit disturbing. Our LG was as quiet as a whisper but this unit is not. The disadvantage of having counter depth is there is no room to store ice cubes. We use quite a few cubes per day and need a container to store them in. Lighting is really good and shelf adjustments are adequate. The color is a drawback as well as it is a matte black and the only color besides stainless available. All our GE products are shiny black.

The fridge looks great and the major parts seem to be well made. I have recently found little pieces of plastic in the bottom and decided to investigate. Once the drawers were removed I saw where plastic around the screws in the back had broken off. There is also a small amount of water that pools on the left bottom side of fridge which I assume comes from the ice maker. There is another small substance that pools on the right side which I havent figured out yet. I have taken the shelves and drawers out multiple times to clean but it keeps coming back.

Ordered online due to supply limitations and needing to replace old fridge immediately. Downsized from 25 to this 22 Cu ft and really regret It, especially considering what we paid. Door shelving on ice maker side is ridiculously tiny. Large draw is half the depth of old fridge. I keep asking., where is the rest of this refrigerator! It takes up almost as much room as our prior fridge. I suppose if you are used to counter depth it won't be an issue. Just check it out in person before you buy. Otherwise it serves it's purpose.

Love the black slate finish. The interior is bright and and easy to keep clean. The quality of the shelves/drawers is very nice and the shelves/door bins are easy to adjust. I do wish that the butter tray door was easier to open (my old, builder grade level GE fridge had a curved door on the butter tray so it could be opened with one hand easily by pushing the top. The one is flat so one can only open it via the little handle).
The noise level is it a little bit above the old, builder grade level GE this replaced - but it's within the expected range of a refrigerator.

So pleased with the way the refrigerator interior is designed. It does not feel like we are missing any space inside in comparison to the deeper refrigerators. I love the counter debth as it does not take up space beyond the counter. It blends perfectly with the cabinets. AND the slate gray exterior is gorgeous!

So far happy with looks, color and features. Is louder than my last refrigerator which was a side by side this is far more roomier. Yes it is a little louder than last one but I can put up with noise if longevity is good. Only time will tell. Kitchen has small sitting area attached and watching tv at normal volume is not issue. Room is 325 sq feet . not open concept refrigerator is in a cabinet.

We love our new fridge but we are wondering how it ever left the factory. When our refrigerator was delivered and set up, we went to fill it. We found out that the freezer door would not open more than a couple of inches. Come to find out that there was a screw that would get stuck in the track stopping the door from opening. Of course a repairman had to be called. He came to the house a couple of days later to repair the issue. Turns out the screw on one side was longer that the screw on the other side.

I'm giving three stars because it's an attractive fridge and goes it's basic job which is to keep my food cold / frozen and dispense ice and water. But it's so loud. I can't believe I spent this much money for something that makes so much noise that I feel like I have bees in my head all the time. It's quiet for maybe 20 minutes per day, annoyingly loud for a good portion of the day, and "oh my gosh I want to leave this house" loud off and on throughout the day. For the first few days, I thought surely it was just working hard to regulate down from room temp, but no, it has stayed just as loud. I hate it. If refrigerators weren't so expensive, I would trash it and buy a different brand, despite the fact that I've only had it for a few weeks.

Love the autofill feature. Just wish the Ice maker in the freezer drawer was included and not an additional accessory. The black slate is gorgeous! Tons of room!
