This Jenn Air is replacing the exact one that blew up on me 4 months ago from being faulty the Jenn Air that blew up was 3 years old. My new one I havent used due to being scared to use it. The pictures shown is my old Jenn Air. Hope I will be able to use my new one in the near future. I can say the Jenn Air people were great to work with to get this issue taking care of they sent their safety man out took pictures and he called them right from my house, within a hour a sales rep was contacting me with information on a replacement product line. Lets hope the new one improved and is not faulty.

As soon as we got the product, the knobs were crooked. They came and "adjusted" them as best they could, but they are still crooked. Also have continual issues with the pilot lights clicking intermittently. They replaced a board in the stove and say it is now "working as designed" but I don't know that this is true.

We have used our electric Jenn-air downdraft range since 1981 and have never had any problems with it. And trust me, it got a daily workout with several meals a day for a growing and hungry family. Can hardly wait to enjoy your gas range downdraft model for many years to come.

Very nice looking cooktop that works great. The unit is lighter than I thought it would be. It is a bit hard to clean thought, as the surface is not 100% smooth and can catch on to the cloth.

We recently updated our 20 year old kitchen and I replaced my former Jenn-Air with this new Jenn-Air 36" gas downdraft cooktop. I love everything about it! The five different burner sizes help everything cook so evenly. I make several healthy stir fry recipes a week and the large burner is perfect for that. What I like best is how easy it is to clean up - even when those vegetables somehow leap out of the wok!

Have had it for a month and it works great! Only negative is that if you get any food stains on the black caps that protects the burners you have to clean it off immediately or it will leave a stain (should only use soap and water).

We haven't tried the ice maker yet due to remodeling issues to be performed first. We're hoping for crushed ice, per our original request but haven't seen mention of it in the manual. We prefer this shelving design over the more popular freezer drawer on the bottom. Who wants to stoop down and shuffle though frozen entrees? Great shelf design and lighting. We hope you stick with this design. Next desire would be the non-smudge finish (darker gray) someday.

Bought this a month ago and I love having an extra burner compared to our old stove of the same size. The controls are very easy to use and put in the right places that make sense for any user. I also like having three fan speeds. Even though the fan pulls some of the heat away from nearest burners, the gas burns hot. In fact, I don't even use the highest setting unless boiling water as it gets very hot, yet is easy to control the flow of gas.

It's a good looking quality piece. However, it cooks kinda hot. Appliance store sales lady said put a cast iron skillet under the pot so it displaces the heat. Shouldn't have to do that with a 2K cooktop.

The stainless still make maintenence simple and it keep this stovetop looking grate all the time. Even under extreme use. The continuous grate makes it not only durable, but easy to manage a large meal with multiple elements.

We waited an extra month to get the newly designed downdraft gas cook top. It was worth the wait. The BTU's do not disappoint when trying to bring pots to a quick boil. It is nearly impossible to find a quality downdraft cook top at this price point. I highly recommend the Jenn Air.
