We got this oven a few months ago, It has been excellent. So far no problems. Works as expected. My only issue, The Upper oven seems to be a bit tight. Burned my hand twice before I learned my lession! I would suggest a differ rack in the top with some kind of grip handles on the sides to make it a bit easer to slide the rack out to get your food. Besides that...Happy wife...happy life!

The range was delivered a week ago and so far i am very happy with it. I have used both the convection and steam rack feature in baking bread and it came out very well. Have also used the broiler & griddle and was impressed with them also. Ovens and burners seem very accurate and are easy to operate and clean. I am very happy with my purchase.

We've had this oven for 2 years and absolutely love it. I do a lot of cooking and baking, so was looking for very specific features to fit a standard oven size--double oven, gas stove, and electric baking to maximize temperature control. I would suggest this oven model very highly if you want these features. This oven has performed reliably well and is great value.
My few complaints/observations: 1) it scratches easily, including the icons for the burners wore off immediately, 2) sometimes the burners have a hard time catching (lots of clicking), 3) the gliding oven rack for the bottom oven was a serious pain and eventually I stopped using it and 4) the timer can be annoying.
Despite this, the usability is top notch and I would buy it again. If you don't care about the features I mentioned, you may want to look for a model that doesn't scratch so easily.

I purchased this range about 1 year ago and have loved it ever since. This range gave me the option to use the top part of the range for smaller quantity of food to cook without having to use the larger oven. I can cook a pie in the top oven while using the bottom oven to cook a chicken.
The only improvement /recommendation I would recommend is to have a separate switch for the oven lights. Right now, when you turn on the oven light, it turns on both ovens even though I use only one.

Love the gas cook top, but the small top oven is too slow to pre-heat. MUCH slower than the Kenmore we got rid of so we could get the KA. Also, the oven had a bad smell when heating. This went on a lot longer than the normal break in period.

I see they corrected the manual to say that the burners are not able to be lit manually during a power outage. The manual that was included with mine that I bought last year says clearly that they can be lit manually, however this is not the case. I wish I had known that before splurging on this, I'm now finding that this "safety" feature is common on newer gas stoves. Not looking forward to eating cold food during the next blizzard.
I like having two ovens and the gas range. I wish the center burner could go higher, it's quite weak compared to the large burners. Cleaning it is fairly easy. The steel and black with the red details look very nice and sleek.

My oven is 7 months old. The blue interior enamel began chipping off. I called Kitchen Aide and Diamond Service provided the service call Diamond Service was wonderful! They called Kitchen Aide and advised them of the defective interior. Kitchen Aide advised the repairman my stove would be replaced. Three weeks later, I have heard nothing from Kitchen Aide! Extremely disappointed in their lack of response to a defective appliance! Do not recommend Kitchen Aide because once they have your money your warranty means nothing!

I have been quite satisfied with my KitchenAid wall oven, range top, micro convection oven, dishwasher and fridge in my former home. I was considering this range until I realized the door drops all the way down to the floor. This strikes me as being quite hazardous, especially with children and pets in the house.

We previously enjoyed 15 years using a "Jennaire" Dual Fuel Double Oven with a timed 'Toasting' feature.
With this oven, We discovered we can toast between 6-8 slices of toast - by setting the items to be 'toasted' on the top rack using the small oven, then, heating the oven to 300°. When the oven has reached 300' both sides of the toast are crisp & warm ~ ready to serve. Walaa !

I bought this oven 7 months ago. One month ago I noticed that the enamel was cracking and flaking off in the upper oven. The upper oven is used minimally - I prefer to use the convection oven in the bottom (wish they were both convection). I called to ask about warranty coverage and was told that enamel is "cosmetic" and not covered. If I want to talk with a service technician to confirm this, I will have to pay for the call. I am unbelievably disappointed in the poor quality of this appliance, and the lack of service provided by KitchenAid (charging me for a phone call?!). This is supposedly a high end appliance - one of three KitchenAid appliances that I purchased together - a purchase that I very much regret at this point. The enamel protects the rest of the oven - without enamel, the rest of the oven is exposed to moisture/food/etc. Enamel is not cosmetic - it serves a function. Of course, by the time the function of the oven itself is compromised because of the cracked enamel and related damage, my warranty will be expired. My last oven was a Jenn-Air and I never had a problem with it for 10 years - I wish I had brought my 10 year old Jenn-Air to our new house - I'm sure it would have worked longer than my brand new KitchenAid.

Make sure when cleaning your range top that you completely take the grate off. Don't just lift it up and clean under it because you will end up scratching the stainless steele. I learned the hard way.

Enamel in upper oven cracked after initial "seasoning". The replacement was approved by an automated voice but I was left on hold after being instructed to press 1 to speak to representative. Had to give up on call and will certainly never buy another kitchenaid. Customer service is poor and if they are too busy to get to a call they initiated, there must be a lot of defective appliances out there!

I saved and bought this beautiful duel fuel, double oven range in December 2018. Now, at the beginning of June, I have had to have all the knobs replaced because they are peeling. A cheap tin foil like covering on a kitchen aid knob?!?! I'm afraid this will be an ongoing problem since all 5 knobs are affected. The repairman stated that the heat from the burners does this. Well, if I plan to use the burners, then there will always be heat. That is what a stove is for!
The bottom oven does not heat up to desired temperature without constant restarting. Then it goes down 20 degrees and stays there. I have had it checked and they reset the temps but it still has too large of a range from 20 degrees below to 20 degrees higher than desired setting.

This appliance checked almost all our boxes - two ovens and dual fuel. For the most part it has worked well in the two months we have had it. A few minor concerns: the low temperature limit is 170 F. This is too high and the temp limit was impossible to find prior to purchase, despite our efforts to do so. 170 still cooks food and is way too high to proof bread. 100 would be much more useful. The largest round burner is difficult to light. The surface burners do not work when the power is off, so one cannot cook during power outages. The larger burners seem to leak gas a little. This was worse when the appliance was first installed. The gas company could not detect any leaks, but we still get a gas smell from time to time.

Top of gas stove is nice. Had it for 5-months and the burner igniter went out!! It took three weeks to get it fix!! To fix that was not a easy job it was total taking apart to fix it Wow! I thou double oven would be nice. But top oven is to small to get your hands in there and the rack doesn't come out only like two inches. The bottom oven it's not friendly to use. Top rack on the bottom has no back to it use things can slide off the back of it into the oven that makes a mess!

Solid construction- commercial quality. Cook-top knobs have to be depressed before turning- great safety feature. After hookup, gas would not initially flow to the burners- a message scrolled in the display to check that all knobs were in the "off" position- greater safety feature. Dual fuel is ideal giving us an open flame for stove-top cooking and electric for even baking. Love the double oven. Great features - great looks - great range!!!

We've had this for a week now and even though we are very careful the cast iron grates scratch the stainless very easily. The legs have a rubber or silicone but the joints have no protection and are clearly what causes the scratches, the joints could be coated and would prevent this. Otherwise, this looks great in our kitchen and love the two separate ovens so far.

We have had this item for a little over 2 months now. We have been very happy with it. A couple of issues we have had, nothing that is a big deal.
1) During install we found that the back of the range is completely flush. Where the one we replaced had, kind of like a cut out area but still with a cover. So the old range would go flush against wall and over the gas connection on the wall. New one has to stick out a few inches from the wall due to back being completely flush, again no biggie.
2) Top oven light burned out real quick but easy enough to replace.
3) Tighter squeeze in top oven than expected, make sure you're wearing oven MITTS.
Overall we have been very happy with this range and continue to learn all the bell and whistles of it.

I've had my range for about a month. Love the double ovens. Top oven bakes great- better than anticipated. Love the roasting feature of the lower oven. I can roast vegetables in about half the time my old oven took. Lower oven is slow to preheat. Burners all work great. Wish the stainless finish was more smudge proof. It is a great looking range though!
Recommend checking your gas connection location before delivery, as we found our existing gas connection does not line up with the oven design and we are having to have our gas connection moved so that the oven will not stick out too far. Our old range was designed where it was recessed across the back, but the KA range only has a small area recessed on the back left side for the connection.

Pretty range. The main oven will not bake. KitchenAid did replace the controller eventually, but on bake it goes to "sleep". Preheat to 350, wait 20 minutes and the oven is at 275.
Cooktop also scratches easily.

I love the ability to cook with gas cooktop and electric oven. Just wish it was a porcelin cooktop and not stainless steel

I am in heaven with this range. So much space with the double oven. The grill pan on top is great. Easy to clean. This is my dream range.
