AQUA LIFT WORTHLESS

I've had mine for about a year, just finished scrubbing inside still not clean. My first spill I didnt see until after I had used again, so it baked in. I ran the self clean 4 times, didn't come up. The water clean does nothing for the sides. I am in my 60's with a back issues. I will be in pain for several days and it still is not clean. I have had self cleaning ovens in the past and they came out clean. These appliances are not cheap, the Range however needs some items fixed. The bottom drawer is cheap. The top of range is also harder to clean than the GE I bought in the 90's. I do love the burner design. Finally two larger burners that have dual heating if you dont need a large burner. It was a selling point for me. The handle design is great, I love them. I get alot of compliments on them. The cleaning problem are major. Until re-designed I would not recommend this range, which is sad to say. They are beautiful appliances.
The microwave went out a few months after the warranty ended. Kitchenaid make it good, so I will say that I was very impressed with the company, the repairman said it was about a 350.00 fix. I was very impressed in this day and age that they fixed it. Love the functions of the microwave and looks,so I was so glad that I didnt have to go by another model.
Our refrigerator and dishwasher have been great, no complaints, I love them.
I can't say enough about the black stainless it shows no finger prints. Paying extra 100.00 for each was not great but I do love them.

Bought this range couple months ago. It cooks and bakes excellently. The 'single/double' burner and 'warmer' plate are quite useful! Only drawback I have is how difficult it is to care for and clean the stove top. I wish it was 'stick proof, especially at its price! That would have really been helpful.

I have to admit I was terrified going from a traditional electric range to this glass/ceramic top. My first few times cooking I was so scared I would scuff or scratch it. I'm happy to say it is easy to keep clean, not as fragile as I first thought, and I absolutely love how quickly it heats up. Its almost like having gas!! I absolutely love my range. My son bought it for me as a gift for mother's day. I feel like I have a Cadillac!!

You cannot adjust the temperature either up or DOWN without turning the oven off AND OPENING AND CLOSING THE DOOR. Serious problems for anything like a souffle or cheesecake, or other delicate items that require mid bake temperature adjustment without letting the air escape. And so normal a task it never occurred to me to ask ahead of time (assuming the salesman would have even known). Would have been a deal killer for me had I known esp at this price. If you don't bake - it's a nice range and looks good. Do they have any actual cooks involved in the testing and design process?

We bought this range five months ago. When baking something, even at 350 degrees, the outside of the oven gets very hot to the touch. It makes you pull you hand back. The outside metal around the cook top and the control panel get very hot to the touch. If I cook something on the burners at the same time and spritz water onto the metal frame, the water sizzles and evaporates. Either I have a defective unit or this is a serious, dangerous design flaw. I am concerned to even use it. I totally regret this purchase.

We purchased this range 3 weeks ago. We replaced a Whirlpool electric range that we had for many years. We purchased this in a bundle, and replaced our refrigerator/freezer, microwave and dishwasher at the same time. We bought the black stainless color. We love the color. The cooktop heating elements heat up fast. The oven heats up pretty fast as well. This is the first time I have used a convection oven, and even though I have only used it to bake cookies, I feel it did an adequate job. We have used the standard bake feature as well and noticed a difference in the internal temperature, vs what the oven was set at. Maybe 15 degrees difference. The range is level, and maybe this is something that will change as we use it more. I would recommend this product.

Have had my range about one week now. It has all the functions you would want in a range and it is really beautiful too! Love the choice of large, medium or small cooking elements. I have not used all the features yet, but am looking forward to them. My only complaint and it is not that big a deal, is the bottom storage drawer is small. By that I mean it is not deep and cannot hold many pans. That is the only reason I do not give it all 5 stars.

We purchased the KitchenAid brand thinking it would be good quality. Range was installed 3 weeks ago and had a damaged door and drawer. Still not replaced. The drawer is really cheap. The metal is single layer of THIN steel. It is also not level. I'm not sure how that will be fixed. It is difficult to open and close. Pushing it closed feels like the metal will bend on the front of the drawer. My wife had a problem turning on the element knobs because they are difficult to turn. It's a little difficult to see where the elements are located because they are outlined with dark markings. We are disappointed with the purchase.

First we would like to say we would like to be asked for a review in another 3-4 months, with that said we are enjoying our new Range. We have not been disappointed. We did do our research before our purchase and expect a learning curve. We feel that we are adjusting quickly because the range does what we expected. We wondered how the the range top was going to work for us with the heating elements pulsing on and off but it has been working very well and it is quite, like I said there is learning curve as to how or where to place the control knob setting . We have not had controlling the heat as we have been taking care to pay attention as we prepared items and are finding where to set the controls for the way we cook or what we cook. The convection oven is new to us but from our first 3 racks of cookies to our chicken and roast all have turned out , good. My wife liked baking 3 racks of cookies in basically the same time as it would take to do one rack in our old range. She tried 2 racks in our old range once and never tried it again but she was happy with the way her 3 racks of chocolate chip cookies came out the very first time she tried it.
We had read a couple of reviews about the oven door getting really hot so we have been checking this each time we use the oven and we DO NOT AGREE with those reviews our oven door has not been HOT. My 3 year old would NOT burn her hand(s) if she touched the door while the oven was in use.
We like our new range , it seems well built and looks good , friends have said we made a good choice for our kitchen.
Do your shopping and choose what you like but are happy we chose this range at this time a hope it continues to perform well.

I bought this before our Christmas meal and it did an excellent job; however, it seems my oven temperature is off a bit as I have to add a couple of degrees to reach the correct temperature. Also, the timer alarm needs to be louder. I've increased it as much as possible and still have trouble hearing it in some rooms, and it is impossible to hear when I'm in the basement. I love the stainless black and the large oven.

I have had my Kitchenaid range for approximately 1 week, which is the only reason I am not giving it 5 stars-I'm afraid it's too good to be true! It's performance is extremely impressive in comparison to my previous Samsung range, at about the same price point. Engineering is so much better, and seems very well built. True convection makes a noticeable difference in the outcome of my recipes, and food is cooked evenly every single time. Noticeable improvement for every meal that I prepare. The oven does seem like it takes a little longer to preheat, but I will gladly wait a few extra minutes for a perfect outcome to cooking meals! I really love the features on this range. The only thing is that I wish that the stove top elements would have been place a little bit wider apart. If I have a lot going on then the pots with the handles will not all fit together on the 4 burners. I have never used the warming burner. I'm a big fan of Kitchen Aid.

We bought this 3 weeks ago and love it! Oven is large with correct temperature, large glass window, self clean mode. The range heats quickly. Overall very satisfied, plus it looks expensive.

I love the design, especially the handle and the finish (black stainless). I haven't tried out all of the features yet but, so far so good. This is my first flat cook top and I am a bit disappointed in how difficult it is to clean. I've discovered that it's best to put on an oven mitt and wipe up spills immediately, while the top is still hot. Even if I just wait for it to cool, it's too late for a simple clean up.

really love this new stove. it is taking a little getting use to with the convection oven. just figuring out the controls. I really like how the burners shut down once proper temp is reached.
