We purchased this range after the oven in our old KitchenAid gave up after 22 years. This one has a larger oven, and as a weekly baker, I use all 3 racks cutting the baking time in half.
The stove top is nice and the controls on the back of the range makes cleaning easier.

Love my cooker but the glass top scratches really easily!! The oven when not using the convection option does not work great at all, example,I was using my oven at 400 degrees but when my food was supposed to be done it was still raw, the internal temperature was 385. Not impressed and would not recommend overpriced cheap cooker with the kitchen aid name

Beautiful looking, expertly made, extremely quiet KichenAid products are a little more costly than your average appliance but they sure are worth it. Could not afford top of the line subzero Wolfe, thermador etc so we opted for KitchenAid. It is amazing, easy to use instrument panel, incredibly well Made easy install, and wonderful features for stovetop warming, regular and convection cooking, bread proofing, conversion info on baking temp converted to convection temp info.!I Bought a dishwasher also and saving for their frig.

We just purchased a Kitchenaid suite and wanted to love the electric range but the design of the oven venting out the top of the oven door makes the exterior edge of the stove top and door extremely hot to the touch. We have small children so we will be returning our range in order to avoid burns.

This stove was purchased for our condo before we owned it so if I had a choise I woukd not have chosen one with a gass top. it looks nice but i difficult to clean and I am worried about sxratching it. I used to like to use a cast-iron skillet for some things but cannot use it now. Also - the "self-cleaning" feature is a joke. Yiu put water in the bottom of the oven to "steam" the burnt items off. Really??????

I purchased the electric range after purchasing and owning a previous KitchenAid electric range for 14 years. I was happy with the old one so decided to replace it with another KitchenAid. I'm disappointed in the design/ function of it, when you bake all of the stainless steel of the range gets super hot. I had KitchenAid come out to see if it was a malfunction, only to be told by technician that any outside part can get as hot to 180 degrees, anything at or below is not considered a malfunction/ nor anything wrong with it. Having 2 children in the home i found this alarming. Not that i want them near the range but knowing my previous model didnt have this issue and stayed in good shape without the stainless steel around the cooktop and knobs - why would KitchenAid change something and make it worse. Disappointed- consumers should be able to "test drive" appliances before they're bought. It's not an inexpensive purchase and don't know exactly what we are getting until afterwards. Also the heat just resonates from the stove that when cooktop and oven are used, what's in the cooktop cooks faster / burns bc the exhaust for the oven is right over the cooktop. Which becomes a nightmare when frying.

I am happy with my selection but the stark black top shows EVERY little spot. It is not a hard task to get clean, but you must use the right stuff to remove any cooked on oil or water spillage. The oven is incredible and will be very easy to clean. I suggest buying this one over the cheaper model so stretch your buck out a little. You will be pleased.

We've had this range for about a month now. The pros: very nice looking, fairly easy to figure out all the features. 3 racks in the oven which are very adjustable, extra large heating elements on cooktop for large pans. Cons: Although the cooktop is nice looking, it requires constant cleaning. Even just a fingerprint on it is very noticeable. And you really need to use special cleaning supplies to clean and not scratch this cooktop. The oven takes a LONG time to preheat and the convection feature does not seem to reduce cooking time although we've only tried it a few times. Very flimsy under oven drawer that I'm afraid will get dented in no time. Time will tell if this range really meets our expectations.

The oven works great! Love the convection options! I never noticed the difference between conventional and convection options on my past ovens. I felt like they did the same thing for every oven until I used this one. My french fries and other food come out crisper and cooked more evenly with the convection.

This is such an improvement over what I had. Like the design and cooks well. Like the added warming burner. My only complaint would be that I had to send the first one back because the installer turned on the oven before he left and the sponge and scraper were zip tied to the inside of the oven and it melted all over the bottom of the range. Better to always put the sponge, scraper etc. in the drawer. Not a complaint about the range itself.

I have had this range less than 3 weeks and the glasstop looks like I have used it for years. It shows every single heat mark, food, water mark, scratch...just EVERYTHING. I replaced a GE glasstop that I had for 11 years and never had one single problem with it. The design of this is just not even practical and I am disappointed in the quality. Every time I use it I just cringe to see what is going to happen next. On a positive note, the oven works well and I do like the convection feature. One thing that could be improved is the timer. It beeps once and then stops. Needs to be longer unless I am just using it wrong.

Haven't bought a new oven for over 15 years. Was looking forward to this one. Unfortunately, my very old oven is easier to clean than this one.
Your rep told us that sometimes it takes 2-3 times for the aqua-lift to clean the oven. This oven is minimally used. Very disappointed in the product.

I've had my stove almost a month. I've used all the features and oven several times now. I couldn't be happier. It's a sharp looking stove and easy to clean. I cook a lot and this stove is a real pleasure to use.

I am not a fan of electric cooking, but live in an area were that is all that is available. This range is pure joy to cook on and in, KitchenAide has changed my mind about what I will with. This is a great appliance both in features and performance!!

1. You sent me an oven that didn't work -you obviously didn't check it out before you sent it. Albert Lee sent a repairman and it seems to be working okay now.
2. It takes much too long to heat up; usually 15 to 20 minutes. Our previous kitchen aide model was ready to bake in 5 or less.
3. I'm not pleased that you expect your customers to do the quality testing for your products. If you had taken the time to check the appliance out before shipment the inconvienience and uncertainty that we experienced could have beeen avoided.
4. I replaced the entire kitchen with Kitchenaide appliances. The appliances we replaced were also Kitchenaide and had functioned flawlessly for nearly twenty years. You need to get back to the way you used to do it....
5. I am not going to rate the appliances. I am really skeptical about how long this new set will last.
6. The site will not allow that so I have given you a fictitious one star for all question to enable completion of the questionnaire.

When I bought this range I was happy. After looking closer, the gap below the knob panel is way too large along with the gap above the bottom drawer. I tried to clean the top edge of the oven door with a dish rag and cut my thumb. Definitely, it is a hazard. I would hate to think of a small child putting their fingers in there.
