I bought this few weeks ago. I did my Thanksgiving Turkey in this beautiful range. The convection roast feature is unbelievable!! The bird got sealed with hot air almost immediately and kept all of its juices !

I've owned this oven for about three months and I love it. The top oven is the perfect size for almost everything so Thanksgiving was the first time I used the bottom oven. The knobs are sturdy and the digital settings are easy and intuitive. The only downside is the stainless top scratches easily (like all stainless) so you just need to be a little careful. The gorgeous blue enamel inside the ovens is an added bonus.

We had scratches, too, on the chrome plating after only five months, What is worse, the blue ceramic liner is starting to shred and flake off after the first time we used the autoclean function. What if some pieces had wound up in a casserole? What if there's a fire hazard, given the compromise to the liner (not to mention what more may follow in the weeks or months ahead?)
My wife and I are very unhappy and upset with this product after spending more than $2K for it at a well known home improvement store. We want KitchenAid to replace this with a new unit before something worse happens. And hopefully the new unit will hold together more than this one.

We had the electric version of this range in our prior home. When it came time to get a new range at our new home, which is propane, I could not wait to get this one! I love the double oven feature and the griddle that comes with this gas model. The range is beautiful to look at and so functional for small and large meals. I would recommend purchasing the KitchenAid covers/liners to help protect it. They make cleanup much easier with the gas model.

The range is attractive. I like the quick boil on my pasta pot.
There are a couple of features one cannot know until using the product that the buyer should be told. The control knobs on the range get very hot when the small upper oven is in use. The handle on the microwave above the range gets very hot when a burner is on on the range.

I love the stainless top! So easy to clean! The oven lights are so helpful when cooking. As soon as you open the door they light up! The oven seems to take some time heating up and I'm still trying to figure out cooking times with convection as it seems to cook hotter and faster. This is definitely a quality appliance! But buyer beware if you have small children in the house as the knobs are in front and it doesn't take much to turn them on.

Acccording to your own sevice tech, Patrick, the smaller oven doesn't work and I should have bought a single oven range. When it said "preheat done insert food" the temp was 80 degrees below the set temp of 350. The display screen said 350 but his own probe said 270. He says that is how it is supposed to work though the manual disagrees. I would not recommend this product since your own tech does not!

I have had this since June and performance is great. My only complaint is the way the cooktop grates interlock. Not very intuitive - my wife ended up scratching the stainless top in trying to remove for cleaning.

We bought our oven back in September and when it was delivered the front left burner wasn't igniting, the delivery guy said it should start working eventually and it didn't so I called Best Buy and they immediately said they wanted to just replace it, and that they did, so now that we have the new stove the only issue was the stove has a small scratch on the stainless above the dial, I hoping to put some polish and blend in the scratch, it's nothing big, as for the function and workability it's amazing, my wife loves it and says it's the stove she's wanted her entire life of baking, the double oven feature and the blue interior are the top things for me!
I forgot to mention, I bought this for my wife for our wedding anniversary gift! She thinks that is great, I just hope I don't get new trash cans next year for my anniversary gift! Lol

This stove has everything you want if you find yourself using a toaster oven along with your regular oven. The double oven feature is fantastic for all of those small dishes plus warming leftovers. We were cooking, as usual, we always are in love with our KitchenAid KFGD500ESS because of her practicality and capacity. But on these past Friday 27 of September, our KitchenAid KFGD500ESS burn inside out below the stainless steel plate.
This fire was rare because we feel the stove very hot for a few minutes but we never realize that the stove was burning in the inside, we finally realized that it was burning in the inside when it exploded in our faces. We are so frustrated and nervous about this fire and explosion.

I'm glad I got this at a substantial discount because I'd be pretty peeved if I paid over $2K for it.
It's big issue: the broiler is unbelievably mediocre (it sucks) at this price point. There's only ONE broiler strip. Whatever you're broiling has to be directly under that 1" strip (which goes from the front of the top oven to the back). It also doesn't come with a broiler pan.
I've had the oven for about 3 months. The other elements I've used seem to work as they should, though I have yet to use the bread proof, convection, and griddle so the jury is out on those, though it's counterintuitive that the griddle goes over the two right burners as opposed to the big long one in the middle.
The left front burner boils pretty dang fast and makes me happier than my old Blue Star did so that's something.
Kitchenaid, a range with two ovens, convection, proofing, and a griddle is really smart. Make the broiler useful and address peoples' other complaints about this product and you'll have a winner. Even at a $2.1K price point.

I have had compliments on the looks of the stove but I will be more interested in how well the stove does over a period of time. Bought this a little over a month ago and it is everything we expected and more. Double oven is great for utilizing smaller items in upper oven chamber and middle griddle is slick as can be allowing great pancakes, grilled veggies, etc. Takes a little longer to warm up than you'd think though. Cooking on a gas flame for the first time is making life a whole lot better.

This is the first time I have had a convection oven, and the items that I have baked in it have turned out wonderful. I am very happy with this purchase!

I purchased this with other appliances and love the double ovens. It does get hot when you reach for the timer/control area when both ovens are on. Timer could be louder and more frequent.

I enjoy having two stoves especially since I can cook in the smaller oven and not heat up the kitchen. Really like the look and design of the stove.
