So thrilled with this oven! I went and splurged on an entirely new KitchenAid kitchen. The black stainless is gorgeous and looks fantastic. The oven works supreme so far. My cookies are just as soft and gooey as always. I think any negative reviews are just having some time adjustment issues. Not every oven is 10 minutes at 350 on the dot. They all flex and so the operator needs to do the same. I would recommend this system to almost anyone. It's super simple to understand and use as well as performing wonderfully. Thank you KitchenAid for making such a beautiful piece to finish off my kitchen!!

The wall oven is nice-looking and has great features. But, I bought this unit to replace the equivalent Whirlpool unit which was a lemon and required replacement after about 7 years of use. KitchenAid is made at the same factory as Whirlpool under the "KitchenAid" brand, and this unit is basically identical to the Whirlpool that broke but with more bells-and-whistles. So, we will see if this unit proves better overtime then the identical Whirlpool unit. Seems to me when you spend $2500 for an appliance like this, it should last more than 7 years. If the KitchenAid proves reliable after a couple years of use, I would gladly give it 5 stars.

Had to retrofit/replace the wall oven/microwave from 20 years ago. Hard to find a 27" that would fit the space PLUS update the kitchen. The clean lines are accented by the black stainless trim. Microwave is easy to use (opens top down) so watch install height! My first baked good, cheesecake, turned our fabulously. Fingers crossed, many happy years of roasting and baking ahead.

I bought this unit and installed it. The first time we started the oven the cooling fan had a major rubbing noise. We had to call for service through Lowes where we bought the unit. Service was great had it fixed in two days. I know things happen but a new appliance of this caliber should not have these issues. Hopefully that is the only service problem it has.

I bought this unit primarily for 2 reasons: 1) The microwave doubled as a regular convection oven, and 2) It did not have smart Wi-Fi stuff (way to over-rated). It replaced a GE combo unit that was in service for almost 23 years. Hopefully, this Kitchen-Aid unit will last just as long or longer!!! Just one complaint: The fan in the Microwave should also stop when the microwaving time ends.

Bought a suite of products and the microwave oven unit board failed one week after install Doesn't say much for the quality control on components. Happy with the other wine cooler, dishwasher,fridge and ice maker but come on ....20% failure rate on products. To make matters worse we call service and text them the error code and the fix which requires a board and what do they do?....show up 2 weeks later with a computer and tell us they have to order the parts and since it's the Holidays it will take a while to get parts. Meantime I have to cook at the neighbors for my guests on New Years

Purchased my first Kitchen Aid convection combo almost 20 yrs. ago. I loved it.! It came with probes for microwave and oven, hard cover cook books with laminated quick hints for conversion, and a broiler pan. Now, you pay more and get less. The user guide is on "news print", which lacks durability, It's difficult to
read and decipher, e.g.Sabbath Mode, and no broiler pan. Minimal issues, yes. Would I recommend it? Of course, especially if you're a seasoned convection cooker. So, where do I find those cook books?

I bought this about a month ago. I was upset that the cooling fan was very noisy and it ran for an hour. Under warranty the fan was replaced. now it is much quieter but it still runs for almost an hour. My old oven fan was noisy but it stopped after about fifteen minutes.

The lower oven is generous in size but lacks some features such as "warm" setting to keep foods ready and also convection cooking is confusing. The MICROWAVE oven is horrible!!! I had no light on a brand new set and even with the repair you are lucky to be able to see anything in the oven when cooking. The light is terrible and if it needs replaced, expect a large service call to take out both ovens to go in over the top!! Fortunately mine was under warranty. I would NOT recommend this combo to anyone and wish I had not chosen this. I would buy separate and get a good microwave. And BTW, it took 3 months to get the part!!!!!

Bought this a month ago to match my new fridge. It was a direct replacement of my old Kitchen aid combo oven. Big mistake. The cooling down fan whistles like wind blowing through my chimney. Up and down. Different pitch constantly.It is so loud you can hear it on the other end of my house. Since we have an open kitchen to the family room this is horrible. Called service and they said they put in a larger fan because control panels were getting fried. Where the heck was the quality control when this was designed. Horrible Horrible product. I'm done with Kitchen Aid. The good part is everything else about it works great. I wish I could get my money back.

This is a replacement oven/microwave for the new KitchenAid I bought November 2016. The original oven's porcelain chipped and peeled. Oven was used maybe once a week, so about 50-60 times. The microwave is noisy and continues to run the fan when the time is up, which makes it hard to tell when the microwaving is done. Replacement was installed, have not seen any porcelain problems as of yet, but it has only been 3 weeks and not many uses. The microwave is noisier than the first one, the whole house knows when you microwave! I also bought the matching refrigerator last year with the new oven. Again, disappointed, outside draws are not straight and there is some cracking with the plastic inside draws.

This has to be the worst engineered oven it has been my displeasure to own in more than forty-five years. I totally agree with some of the previous responses. When temp is reached, the oven signals and immediately the timer starts recording cooking time. - - - I haven't even put the food in the oven yet. It should start when you open the door to put food in. Now, when done using this disaster, if you want to open the oven door to cool it quickly, you get a "wind tunnel" effect that doesn't quit. Its loud and very annoying. At one point it went on for 25 minutes. Its a real problem if your serving in the kitchen. I have to add cooking time to all my recipes. The microwave is really stupid too. If you set a time, like one or two minutes, it never shuts off. You have to continue watching the printout to know when time is over. When you hit "reheat", it goes on forever. You have to monitor constantly or it will dry out your food. I'm sorry, but I think this is the worst designed appliance I have ever owned and I wish I would have read some of these comments previously. My Bad! P.S. I wouldn't recommend this unit to an enemy either!

Love the oven, hate the volume on the microwave. The fan for the microwave is 20 dB's higher then the oven. And it doe not turn off when the timer is done. These fans should never have made it out of the R&D lab. Sham on you Kitchen Aid. And the inside in the black stainless is not BLUE!

I have had this combination oven since late December. It is beautiful, but not only that it cooks everything beautifully. It does take some getting used to. I keep the booklets for use handy, but I am using it enough that I am not needing the instructions as much. I have a black stainless oven and it is really a great addition to my kitchen. My old oven was only 24 ", do it is so great to have the extra size.
