I bought this a month ago & really like it. I have not used a convection oven before, It really helps when I am a little short of time. I also like the large window for checking baking progress. It saves needing to open the door and slowing things down.

I bought this brand on the advice from my contractor.
I used it twice and it stopped working.
They made two trips and it took over two weeks and a lot of my time before it was fixed
Used it two more times and it stopped working again
Made two more trips and couldn't use over Thanksgiving
I purchased mid October and it was supposedly fixed today 11/29
I am doubtful as I believe it is a lemon
After many phone calls and trips from work to home to meet the repair men I am not pleased

Replacement for my 23 year old version of this ove

My 23 year old KitchenAid oven lost a heating element, and parts are no longer available. We replaced it with the current version of the same oven. There are some differences, and I still getting to know it. It is shorter, but the inner dimensions provide both more depth and width. This allows two half-sheet pans to fit on one shelf. One of the shelves is on ball bearings so it slides in and out very easily, even when it has a heavy Dutch oven or two (!) on it. I love these changes. Now, the heating is very accurate, but the behavior of the heating elements seems different, so food doesn't seem to brown on convection bake or roast until the temperature is set at 325ºF or hotter. So far, I have baked several breads, roasted chicken parts, braised a stew and broiled chops. I have yet to roast a chicken, the last major un-tested function. So far, it's doing great!

Still getting used to the new oven. Appears to be working fine. Have not tried the convection yet but will do soon.
Only adverse comment - during installation the door has to be removed to install the bottom trim piece. Following the instructions in the installation manual I practically broke my back getting the door off and it was even harder to put back on. The door hinge system is designed for weightlifters and body builders... it is not user friendly. I eventually got it back on but will suffer the side effects for a while.
Finally... on your installation manuals... I have seen and relied on installation manuals for many jobs. Yours were the bare minimum and were prepared as if no one ever reads them. I would suggest that you make a you-tube video illustrating the installation.

I had this wall oven installed 1 month ago after my old KitchenAid failed me and locked me out on the cleaning cycle. It had served us well for over 15 years.
This gorgeous blue interior and larger glass, lovely and clear is a real step up!! Heating so far seems very even throughout the oven front to back
The door closure seems much more solid. The control panel is very easy to use.

La température du four était trop basse mais avec la fonction "ajustement de calibrage" il a été très facile de réajuster la température. Toutes les fonctions sont d'ailleurs faciles à utiliser. Je suis aussi très emballée par la grille déployante qui m'évite à me pencher vers l'intérieur du four. J'ai utilisé le mode "convect" lors d'un grand repas de famille et tout à été cuit à perfection. Oui, je suis très heureuse de cet achat.

We had to have the first one we bought replaced because it was heating up the cabinets below it. The serviceman that Kitchen Aid sent, said that the blower was not working, so the oven had to be replaced. Our second one is working fine, but it was a hassle having the first one replaced. I purchased a Kitchen Aid oven and have realized that it's not living to the Kitchen Aids quality standards.
First, within the first month of using it, the icons on the cooktop surface have almost completely erased, leaving me now way of knowing which burner is on or off.
Secondly, the front metal door and the bottom drawer have rust all over.
My appliance isn't 2 years old yet and I am very surprised that a Kitchen Aid product would age this badly. I've tried asking for parts replacement and the company has asked me to pay for labor and parts to replace the faulty ones.
If you're going to spend your money on a cooking appliance, spend it on one that will last. I deeply regret my choice and will not be buying anything from Kitchen Aid again.

I have had my new kitchen aid oven about a month now. It is pretty in appearance. The oven temperature is off about 40 degrees. I set it to 400 and my oven temperature gauge reads 360. That will be a little frustrating when I bake having to always adjust. The rope seal was loose when it was installed but a service call got that fixed. I had a previous kitchenaid oven that lasted 20 years. I hope this one does the same.

Love the clean look and features. We enjoy using it and various cooking modes. Only complaints it takes a while to preheat oven and this is the first time I have a built-in and it gets hot in the drawer below when cooking and hard to read the operational buttons. It is a quality product!

This oven replaces a 14-year-old Kitchen Aid Wall oven. The problem with that oven was every time I used the High Heat self clean feature it would blow a fuse and wouldn't heat. Cost $3-400 each time repairman came. Happened last time, even stopping self-clean at 1.5 hours. I won't use self-clean feature on this oven. Wish it had the steam clean setting. Would have preferred to buy an LG, but it didn't fit the space.

I purchased two separate wall ovens about 2 weeks ago. They are well made and I love the slide-out rack. Heating element seems to be well calibrated. I do have one concern, though, when using the timer - the oven shuts off when the time is complete. There is a mode on the oven for COOK TIME which states in the manual that the oven shuts off at the end of the cook time, but the TIMER feature does not state this - but still it happens. I am planning to call customer service for support with this.

When I use the oven, so much warm to hot air vents at bottom it heats my whole small kitchen floor up. Also, my baking does not rise as well as in my old push in oven and it take around 45 minutes for the fan to go off after use. Not great instructions or video
