This is the nicest range I have ever owned. I love the convection auto conversion and the oven capacity is wonderful. I also really like the simmer setting on the large burner, as I make my own stock.

his is the first gas range that I have ever owned and I am enjoying it. It is fairly straight forward however the information that came with it is not thorough. I like it when manufacturers include a complete manual with their product that gives examples of how to use features. This range came with a steam rack (I think) but I have no idea how or when to use it. Searching the site didn't provide any answers.

Oven does not heat or broil that well. Had it adjusted by a technician on a service call-somewhat better but not any better than an inexpensive Whirlpool or GE oven. The cool down sound drones on for more than an hour. Very annoying.

I purchased this gas range and the full set of kitchenaid appliances for my new kitchen. The gas range has been installed for over 2 months now and the oven does not work. Can only use the cook top. I love the looks and everything else about it - just wish it worked!
I do love my dishwasher, fridge, and microwave so far.
The service man has been out 4-times installing different parts per KitchenAid instructions and the oven still does not work. Hoping they can get KitchenAid to send a brand new range since it never worked to begin with. .....so far.. very frustrated.... I am hoping Kitchenaid will do the right thing and send a new one!!ASAP!!

I'vd had this range about a month now. It is very pretty with the Black Stainless and is fingerprint resistant. The works well and is baking at the correct temps; my old range was way off. It is a little difficult to clean the top since the grates interconnect, but they are removable. The initial oven burn off smoke did happen, but I was warned by the installer this would happen. He stayed cleaning up while this burn off was happening. After the initial burn off; there was no more smoke when the oven was used.

The oven is beautiful but that's it.
First: The finish on the control panel is delicate and scratches easily. Already damaged and had less than two months.
Second: Takes forever for the oven to finishing pre-heating
Third: I have only used the oven twice and just to bake cookies and now it has residue/streaks between the glass oven door panels.
Fourth: Just noticed there is a blue bubble between the glass oven door panels. I am contacting Kitchenaid as this definitely a defect and possibly safety issue so will not be using the oven now.
Fifth: The design on the panel makes it easy to turn on when just wiping the panel off.
Six: The storage drawer is so small and can't hold anything with height, only cookie sheets. Cheaply made also.
Seven: The burner is already stained an unable to clean. It seems to be made of a cheap or substandard material.
This range was purchased as part of remodel. I also purchased a kitchenaid microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator. I am waiting for the refrigerator to be delivered. I just hope the other appliances do not become a disappointment also.

Been wanting to replace our electric range with gas for some time now. Glad we made this purchase about a month ago. Great temp control on range and oven. Still learning. No complaints but need to mention that when oven is running, range control dials get hot to touch as does a nearby cabinet drawer pull.

Very nice stove. Easy to operate.
Could use a different burner configuration.
Both large burners are at the front and only has 1 burner with simmer mode.
Maybe consider moving one of the small burners to the frt and giving it a simmer mode.

The five burners on the stove top are amazing. The functionality of the control panel is, also. I don't like to be picayune, I just wish that the oven went higher than 500 degrees. I'm sure it has something to do with the cleaning system. It's just, a tad hotter wold generate PERFECT Pizza. Oh well, still worth it. Great Range!
