We bought all new Maytag appliances for our new house. I had researched all brands and selected the Maytag appliances. It's easy to organize your food and I like the freezer on the bottom. My beefs with it is that the computer in the water dispenser makes quite a bit of noise and the drinking water is very slow coming out. But all in all, it's a nice big unit.

We bought our refrigerator about a week ago and absolutely love everything about it! I have wanted a refrigerator like this for a long time and I am not disappointed! Its spacious and I like how we can stagger the shelves to fit something that hangs over. The little shelf at the bottom is perfect for pop or whatever kinds of bottles or cans you need to store. I like the freezer at the bottom because it doesn't get used as often as then refrigerator and having the fridge stuff eye level is awesome. The ice and water dispenser is the best and was simple to hook up. Our kids drink more water than they ever have because it's so convenient. The price wasn't outrageous. I highly recommend this refrigerator!

Disappointed that both doors must be open to access deli drawer.
Handle attach method is good common sense design. Stainless steel brush finish is smooth & easier to keep clean than some competitors.
Unfortunately, filtered water tastes like cardboard using the req'd filter.
We hope it performs as well as the unit it replaced.

We had trouble with this from the beginning. Was told that the pullout tray was for vegetables, after lettuce, tomatoes, everything in tray froze, I was then told that was for bottled or canned drinks. Have had bottled water to freeze in tray. Finally turned thermostat to 30 degrees. So far. so good. but I would never buy another Maytag. Only reason we bought this one was the guy that serviced our old frig sold them?.

Bought this about 2 weeks ago now and I still think I am in heaven! I used to have a GE side-by-side and in my house the wall was right up to the fridge on the right side. Which, of course, meant you couldn't get anything large in or out of it without turning it....and some things you just can't turn! Well, this beauty has that fantastic french door feature which makes it a breeze to get to anything on the right side or on the right side shelves. I also like the feature of the sliding shelf in the freezer section. Overall at this early stage for me, I couldn't be more happy with my purchase and would certainly recommend this unit to others.

I had this refrigerator at my house I just sold, I loved it then, it has a nice look to it, great features, easy to clean, and it just works for me. When I moved I looked at all of the different refrigerators. They were all nice except one very important thing. The Maytag and Whirlpool still carry the made in the U.S.A, sticker. There was no reason to look any further.

Fridge is 2 months old and freezing food. Also as soon as we got the fridge it starting making a very loud sound after it dumps the ice. They are replacing the tempeture sensor and dual water value. Also fridge does not alarm when door isn't closed. I was told it was a defect of the style and where the sensor is located. Save your money and don't buy this product

We purchased this refrigerator 11-17-18. The refrigerator started freezing our food on the top shelf and in the crisper drawers. We had service after service call until it was decided that an exchange would be made. The 2nd refrigerator arrived and started freezing food again. Both refrigerators make screeching noises and are loud. The ice maker takes up too much space in the refrigerator and frankly I wonder if this is the issue or the power cold feature for all the food freezing. We have thrown out so much food between the two refrigerators with no solutions to the problem and no reimbursement for all the food we have thrown out. We have had service call after service call on the 2nd refrigerator and the solution is to once again have a replacement refrigerator sent. I would think that there would be a recall on this product by now or it would be discontinued due to the continued issues. We are so disappointed in this product.

I bought this a month ago and I can't stop Staring it. It is so stylish and the the handles are so attractive. The inside has been designed for maximum food storage space. I took the description of fingerprint resistance with a grain of salt but it is really fingerprint resistant. The price also attracted me to this refrigerator. I rep[aced my 14 year old side by side with this french door fridge. I would have given it a 5 star review but I've been having problems with the produce drawer freezing my vegetables and salads. I've reset it according to manufactures directions twice now but it's still too cold. I'll try once more then contact customer service. Otherwise, I love everything else about my new fridge.

I've had a size by side for 20 years. I was glad when it died. I love my new Maytag. It is roomier in the fridge section, and I have an ice maker and water dispenser that works AGAIN! Yay. It's well lit, easy to locate items, and maintains temperature evenly throughout. The freezer is set up nicely as well. I thought having it on the bottom would be a challenge, but it's easier to find things in it because it's so much wider than that awful side by side! It fit perfectly in the allotted space. Happy camper!

Its a nice fridge. I really like the looks. Everything seems to work nicely. I checked the temps inside with a laser thermometer. The doors are only 4-6 degrees warmer than the back of the fridge. So that's good. Its no colder under the ice maker that it is on the other shelves. The ice maker startles my dogs and cats when it puts ice into the bin. Its a minor thing and I can't call it a real problem.

It's nice big fridge and it looks beautiful but the First thing we noticed is that the "stainless steel" front scratches incredibly easily. We were glad that our fridge magnets stuck to it but they would leave permanent scratches from any movement. Secondly it became apparent after a week that the compressor never turns off. We have owned it over a month and it has never stopped. And now it's super noisy, like the fan is vibrating. Maytag says it's normal. Thanks Maytag but I'm having a repair guy look at it anyway.

We are now on repair number five. The latest repairman said it's a bad idea to put food on the top shelf. As this will only Aid in the problem we're having in that the fridge freezes all our vegetables. Customer service besides being rude seems to think it's okay to have a product out there that doesn't perform correctly and somehow that's okay for the Maytag brand. They offered us a small stipend for the damaged food after the first freezing incident and somehow think that's supposed to cover all the other failures. This refrigerator was bought in February of 2019. If I could return it I would and I still might. This would be a lot more palatable if Maytag was a lot more supportive and the repairman didn't tell me how to load my refrigerator with food. Oh did I mention that the freezer is also malfunctioning.

I purchased this Maytag refrigerator because it was made by an American company. The bonus's were that the inside was very well though out for the maxim efficiency for storing food. The second bonus was that the handles were very unique and gave the appearance of a high end product. I am also planning on the purchase of a Kitchen Aid range in the near future another product in the Maytag family because of the dependability and the same unique handles.

I bought this at an Illinois big box store and it started off badly with the delivery and installation. We had to hire another company to put it in the space and install the water supply. Then the ice maker continued to spill ice all Dover the floor. After the 10th time, we finally called the service department. The person who set up the service call was rude and we waited all day since they did not call with a 4 hour window as promised. The repair people were very considerate and kind but it did take 3 different trips to fix the problem.

The ice maker dispenser throws ice on the floor. It does this whether you use cube or crushed setting. When I get ice some goes in the glass and onto the floor also.
This is irritating having to pick up ice off the floor.

Bought this 2 weeks ago and so far no problems. I love the space in the refrigerator portion and really like the freezer. The power cool feature got the temperature down quickly and could put 'cool' food in it within hours of plugging in. The large pull out drawer in the fridge is large and great. The only negative is the ice maker makes a very large sound when filling with water--but only for a few seconds. This unit is a great value for the money.

We like the layout and the ability to adjust shelving to our needs. There is plenty of room except that the ice maker is pretty large. So far, everything is working great and we are very happy.

We have had the refrigerator a little over two weeks. We love it. Love the freezer and the convenience of finding everything. Also, love the french doors. Everything is viewable with one glance. Couldn't be more pleased.
