I bought this fridge at the beginning of the month after looking at several different designs, brands and models. This unit had the best layout and features. It has plenty of accessible storage and two different ice makers, one for the door dispenser and one for the bin in the lower freezer. It performed well over the holiday and my wife loves it!

My old Whirlpool refrigerator died after 19 years and found this one as a bargain at Lowes.
Its just beautiful and has great features. My only issue is that the freezer is smaller than my old one and doesn't hold as much. My former one was a side by side so it may just be that I need to adjust to the freezer on the bottom.

This design is so much better then a side by side. I have tons more room in the fridge and freezer. The French doors make it easy to get items out or put in larger items. The Freezer on the bottom has tons of room, and I can store frozen Pizza in it! I could not do this in my side by side!

This refrigerator is a good refrigerator. I purchased mine through a local dealer, had it delivered and installed, and it's been working just fine. Temperature has been consistent and matches the temperature on the door display.
The dual ice maker is great - even better - you can turn off the secondary ice maker and use the freezer space if you need it.
The fresh food compartment is large and adequate. Drawers glide smoothly.
It is not loud, makes normal refrigerator sounds. Mine actually is a lot quieter than the 3 yr old LG refrigerator I just sold with my last house.
MY ONLY ISSUES - Not including all the door bins - making you immediately buy necessary parts that should be included is just not right. I was not even aware all the door bins did not come with it until it was delivered. Model as shown in store had all door bins and there was no disclaimer or signage anywhere pertaining to door bins. Mine came with 3 large door bins for right door and one small door bin that fits lower left door. No door bins for lower right or middle left. I have not purchased the doors bins yet as they are "special order" plus a shipping charge.
We really have to push hard against the paddle that dispenses water and ice. It is not easy to work and the first time I tried to push it to flush the filter, I had to push so hard the refrigerator moved. This paddle is very stiff, thus making it difficult to get water and ice. All my family members have the same issue, so it is not just me experiencing this. I am hoping it will loosen up with use but 3 weeks later it is still very stiff and difficult to get water and ice. Thus only 4 stars.
Also 2 split shelves should come with this refrigerator instead of one.
And I wish the design engineers would come up with a way to have ice and water dispensed on the outside of the door, BUT still be able to have inside door and shelf space. Maybe running the water line and ice chute through the outside wall.........
TIP to those with temperature issues: ALL refrigerators are designed to be set at a temperature and STAY there for at least 48 hours BEFORE adjusting the temperature again. Constantly adjusting the temperature will break your refrigerator. Just like your air conditioner, you need to set it and let it work. If, after 48 hours, the food isn't cold enough, then make an adjustment and wait at least another 48 hours for the compartment to reach new temperature.

One reason for not giving a 5 star rating is the top shelves do not exactly line up when placed next to each other. The ice dropping in the door and in the bottom of the freezer is a great feature.

I bought this a month ago and I am glad I did. I looked at a lot of refrigerators from several manufacturers. This one had all of the features I wanted and then some. Water and ice in the door is a great thing to have. The extra ice maker in the freezer is a plus for parties. I am on city water and the water filter makes the water taste like bottled water. When company comes everybody says it is beautiful and they wish they had one like it. A plus is that it is made in the USA. If you are in need of a new refrigerator you won't go wrong with this one. You will have plenty of room for everything and the led lights will let you see what you have.

The one thing that bothers me about it is that the top right door, when I open it half way and let go, swings the rest of the way open and jolts everything in the door. Had a service call and aked the repairman if it could be adjusted and he said there was nothing he could do about it:(

We are enjoying this refrigerator but there is one drawback. The ice/water dispenser is stiff and somewhat hard to operate. I often have to use my hand to hold the lever in in order to keep it from continually ceasing to dispense water or ice. We had a Whirlpool side by side for 14 years prior to this and, while I much prefer this style, I must say the ice/water dispenser of the old one was much better. Otherwise all is good.

I like the features of the appliance over all, the two ice makers, area in the freezer for pizzas, the led lights,etc.
The thing that bothers me the most is the doors and door handles do not line up. Had the store come and adjust them but it didn't help.

I had this unit for 2 months, I can say that the 27cu lost a lot due to the ice maker design. The capacity of ice is great and worth the loss of space. I had an LG and Samsung, but had dual ice makers and the capacity is no where near of the Whirlpool. it made so much ice, I had to shut down one of the ice makers. It is VERY noisy ice dispenser and water dispenser. The innovation of the single dispenser lacks in design, but it saves on space. The water dispenser does NOT accommodate small cups and it leaks after you pull your cup away. My old whirlpool (25 year old) had the same design flaw on the water drip. LG definitely nailed it on the water dispenser and the quietness of the dispenser. Samsung was a fail on both.

Purchased a SS model and it seemed to have issued from the beginning so we called for service. Whirlpool performed like one would expect and we found that refreshing in today's world. During the course of repairs Whirlpool decided that it was time to replace the unit and put the exchange in motion. They were nice enough to allow us to change from the SS to the Black model. It was delivered and installed without issue and has worked perfectly since the installation. I do not foresee any issues at the moment.
Other than the aggravation of getting a unit that did not work properly I am very happy with the purchase. Whirlpool did their best to make the issue right throughout the process and we greatly appreciated their care to get it corrected and keep us happy with our purchase. First time we ever had an issue with any Whirlpool product. Yes I would purchase another Whirlpool product, and I can not say that about some of the other brands on the market we have purchased.
