We wanted to have a modern kitchen with the oven in the wall. We worked with our carpenter to build the frame for the oven based on the specs, and it was easy to do. This setup (Cooktop over Oven) is designed perfectly. This oven also has Home Connect which allows you to control it with you phone.

We replaced one of two 14 year old Jenn Airs. We quickly realized that there was a difference in baking time between the two with the Bosch tending to under bake. Otherwise all other performance aspects are good. Easy to set up cooking but we also found out that use of the prob completely wiped out the program at temperature attainment. If you need more cook time a new event must be programmed. My major disappointment was been with the WiFi set up. I have tried repeatedly to link the app to my network with no success. And the process times out in 5 minutes. In contrast, I linked my new LG refrigerator the first time in about 6 minutes.

I love this oven. The black stainless steel looks so amazing. It's easy to use. I love the smart capabilities. My only negative feedback is it lets a lot of hot air out into your face when you open it - more so than others.

At first glance, the Bosch 800 wall oven appears expensive for an appliance. The truth is that compared to other wall ovens on the market, the Bosch 800 series justifies the extra expense in exceptional build quality, high end features, and impeccable aesthetics. We purchased this unit to replace a 20+ year old Whirlpool Gold, and couldn't be happier. Our Thanksgiving turkey was perfectly cooked - no exaggeration - and the controls are intuitive. The oven is easy to use, looks fantastic in the kitchen, and has performed beyond expectations to date. The oven door even has a soft-close feature! Didn't know that when we purchased; just another reason to extoll the virtues of this unit.
The only complaint we have would be the volume of the chime (aka kitchen timer/beeper) - even on the highest setting the volume is too low to hear the beeping outside of the kitchen. If Bosch can fix this single issue, the appliance would be perfect.

When our old dishwasher died, I did my research on replacements. (Consumer Reports is my "go to" reference. I faithfully complete their product surveys on appliances and automobiles every year. This is my way to sound off honestly about what works and what doesn't.)
This Bosch model came up as highly recommended in the price range I could manage. I do not regret going with this decision. It cleans like a charm. I have never owned a dishwasher that doesn't require rinsing even the smallest bits of food before running the cycle. This washer cleans dried egg yolk after it's hardened for days! No prerinse required. And it is quiet enough to talk over without distraction or need to raise your voice.
In fact, we have purchased a new home and will be moving soon...and I told my husband that our Bosch dishwasher is coming with us. I do care if we have to purchase a used dishwasher to leave at the house we are leaving!
I definitely recommend this Bosch model to anyone who is looking to replace or purchase a dishwasher.
