I can't believe only a few side door wall ovens are out there. It was the main reason I bought Bosch. So nice not to have to lean over a hot door. The oven works well and the fan is much quieter than my old wall oven. It cools down a lot faster too, so the fan isn't running on and on.

Have a side opening double oven, which we like. Unfortunately, after 5 years, the upper oven temp cannot be controlled and overheats. Ordered a new temp probe, and what should be a very easy job is quickly turning into a nightmare. Seems some savey "technician" routed the probe wiring to make it impossible to change the unit from inside the oven compartment. Now I have to pull the entire wall oven out of it's enclosure just to change a simple probe. If I hire a repair person to do this it's going to cost me a considerable amount just in labor. This is just poor manufacturing and lack of good quality control. To change out an item like this should not require a major undertaking and has made the Bosch name a dirty word in this house.

The doors make all the difference! But not only is it a joy to use, cooking results make it obvious that it has more even temperature distribution than any other oven I've owned. The control panel is well designed, so it is easy to make use off the many cooking options. I could not recommend it more highly.

Love my new double wall ovens! Cooks so much faster than my older GE model. Really love how the doors open to the side so I'm not reaching over the door to take food out. Convection bake and roast feature. Sold on Bosch appliances!

Intuitive controls and efficient double oven system replaced my 11 YO Monogram. The Bosch has side opening doors that make access to oven cabinets much easier than the pulled down doors on the old ovens. Convection system automatically adjusts temperatures. Very convenient!

Best oven I have ever used. Side swing door makes inserting and extracting hot dishes without leaning over a hot oven door or reaching over the hot door. All controls are easy to use and the oven looks beautiful.

Temperature probe signals high heat and shuts off both ovens. Doesn't matter if you are not using it and can happen up to 11 hours after the oven has been shut off. Lower door squeeks badly.

Oh my!!! The idea of left or right opening doors is just so logical that it's unbelievable they aren't on every oven. I love the look, functionality, and ease of use of my new ovens. The other slick feature is the pull out rack! Again, something that shoudl be mandatory on a wall oven. I had perfectly working ovens before this switch, but am SO GLAD I spend the money to get these Bosch wall ovens!!!!

The best feature is the side opening doors. They allow me to reach in without bending over traditional oven doors. I can proof dough with ease. I do wish the timer chimes were louder. Many times it is hard to hear if I am not in the kitchen or over the TV or radio.

We are MOST pleased with the Bosch Double oven unit we recently had installed to replace an Electrolux single oven. The most attractive feature of the Bosch unit is the side swing doors rather than the drop down on traditional ovens. This is an exceptional appliance. We love it. The reason for the downgrade is that there appears to be some resistance when opening the upper oven. Otherwise, all is great. The best part is the left hinged door so you never have to reach over a hot oven door to get food out, etc.

Best quality oven ever owned. Bosch though of everything. Easy to use well laid out control panel. Side open swing doors is genius -- making it much easier to get food dishes & trays in and out of the oven. The track slide oven rack is a real plus as well, further simplifying removal of hot cooked items All-in-all, this is top of the line!

I've waited 20 years to renovate the kitchen so I could finally have a double oven and designed it with the Bosch ovens firmly in mind. Bosch offers the only oven with a left or right door opening, which is a huge benefit and safety feature when you can't or don't want to bend over to reach into the oven. Its so easy to just reach in a grab the perfectly cooked dishes! No burning fingers or arms on hot surfaces. Food cooks evenly. Some day soon I even hope to learn how to use all the wonderful cooking features.

Very happy with this oven. The side swing doors are a saver as you are not lifting anthing heavy over the rack into the oven. I bake with dutch ovens (bread) and at the end of 24 loaves the lifting gets to be a bit much. I do wish that the racks were a bit heavier, again, dutch ovens.

When I walked into showroom and saw this oven that opened from the right or left, I knew I had to have it. I was right. I can't believe how much easier it is to get things in and out of oven. I find I use the oven more because of the easy access. It heats well, controls are easy to use.

Gorgeous and sophisticated double ovens, love the side open, as I'm petite and can reach everything. But, for $5000 + would expect the clock and timer to work and have heard from dealer and Bosch multiple times that they are trying to figure out the problem. Unacceptable for what should be top top quality

We love the side opening doors. It is really a fantastic option when you are short. The ovens are both convection and cook with efficiency. We love it... the panel is finicky, sometimes when you use the panel it does not register and then seems to go wild. It's Like it stores the inputs and plays them back at the wrong time. Then what is upsetting is that it runs on broil randomly yesterday it went off at night. Looking for help to address it. I would give it a 5 but let's see how good the service is.
