When the vent hood is installed in recirculation mode, the air is picked up and passes through multiple filters including the charcoal filter that absorbs odors. This freshened air is then pushed back into the kitchen. Over time, activated charcoal particles saturate and stop blocking off odors leaving your kitchen with strong smells.

We we lucky enough to obtain our 800 Series Wall Hood after 8 months and one that went missing from delivery. We love the effectiveness of this hood, the color is great and the two light setting is wonderful. The only drawback is that it is very noisy but it really is effective and our kitchen, that is open to the dining area and living room are no longer filled with odor and smoke...the neighbor appreciate the fire alarm not going off as well! A great product!

This range hood makes a statement in our beautifully remodeled kitchen. It has a timer, multi-level light and different fan speeds. The fan pulls steam and odors quickly as well.
