This dishwasher is great and worth the price. It is very quiet, and although I didnt think I would use the different cycles this has made my dishwasher more useful for small loads, heavy dirt, sterilization and every day quick washes. We were skeptical of the drying but dishes even plastic have come out sparkling clean and ready to put back on the shelf without any towel dry needed. Highly recommend!

I recently replaced my old Bosch dishwasher with the 800 series model. It is even QUIETER than the old model! I cannot hear it even when I am in the same room. I purchased it about two months ago and so far, my dishes are spotless and dry after each use. Love it!

Really like this dishwasher. Very quiet and dishes come out sparkling. Everything you could want in a dishwasher. The app, which Bosch touts, is another matter. What is the purpose of remote access to the machine if, to use remote start, I have to have pressed a button on the dishwasher to prepare it for remote start? There should be a way to set a delay timer (e.g., start in two hours) and press start to run that machine at that time as well as the ability to start the machine now via the remote app without requiring any interaction with the control panel on the machine itself. Bosch really needs to incorporate further UX review of machine/app integration.
But the dishwasher itself is magnificent.

This very expensive dishwasher that I waited on 18 months came broken. I immediately reported it to Bosch and they have me a repair date two months away. In addition I was having difficulty programming the Home Connect. I called tech support numerous times, but they didn't respond. Now the dishwasher is cutting off before the load has finished, requiring restarts. What a disappointment.

Pretty satisfied with the product -- the only issue is that my plastic wear doesn't always get dry even when it's on crystal dry. If I could, I would have given it a 4-1/2 stars. Also, too easy to press the function buttons at the time. Sometimes have hit the wrong one by mistake.

I had a dishwasher installed 8-31-2022 and now this mess.. nothing fixes it left the power off for 3 hrs and nothing . Total trash stay away . Also you can load the dishwasher do or the way the racks are designed and the third rack doesn't hold anything of value other then small utensils.

This is my first Bosch product and so far/so good. It is a learning curve to figure out how to load it and it takes some effort to understand how best to use the utensil tray. Drying is very good and as advertised. Not so sure about the Wi-Fi feature and the water softener will not be used (my water is soft enough). Some ads imply detergents would provide enough water softening support but it is not clear which brands. Runs quiet and seems to be reliable (major factors behind my purchase). My only real issue was the lengthy delay before a product was available.

Compared to my previous dishwashers (GE Profile, Whirlpool) this Bosch has produced outstanding cleaning results. Night and day literally. Never seen stuck food on silverware on the 3rd rack (daily issue with whirlpool).
Drying was also very good unlike common complaints about Bosch.
Noise level is where I got mixed results (not a deal breaker but worth mentioning): in some modes it gave much higher than expected noises. Specifically the auto mode and speed cycle were the loudest. It would be more fair to list noise levels for each cycle because in some modes (delicate) it was virtually silent.
WiFi integration works great although there are few areas I would like to see fixed:
1) when it shows history of runs please list some more useful information like what settings were used, duration, etc)
2) setting water hardness is only possible after factory reset. After initial setup the option disappeared.
3) provide an option to control time out duration between selecting a program start and when you should close the lid. Default and only setting of 4 seconds is too short.

We had another brand dishwasher for 10 years that I was never happy with. I had to repair it many times and it required CPR on a weekly basis over the past 8 months. We finally committed to purchasing a good brand and were waiting on another Bosch model for MANY months (almost a year) before purchasing this one. I haven't activated the Home Connect because I don't use Amazon, so automatically ordering DW tabs is useless to me, and honestly, when I'm at work, I just don't care when the DW is done.
Features I love? 1. Knowing the time the cycle will be done. Seriously love this when I'm home running multiple loads. 2. The second rack's adjustability! You can TILT it to accomodate tall items on the bottom rack or drop it to accomodate a taller item in the 2nd rack (Contigo travel mugs--I'm looking at you!). 3. I never knew what I was missing with the third rack. I thought I would be annoyed having to set the utensils into those little slots, and though it takes some getting used to, it is MUCH easier to just collect them in one fell swoop and put them away. 4. Variety of programs. 5. Can really fill the dishwasher. My husband commented that we can fit so much more in this one. I don't know if that's actually true since I can't compare them side to side but I don't feel like we're short-changed. 6. The fold-down shelves (had this on another DW and we LOVED it).
Tip: leave the door CLOSED after the cycle is done to see how well the drying works. Initially, we would prop the door open once the machine beeped (as we did on our previous DW) and everything seemed so wet still. Once I left it closed until the morning, it was incredibly dry unless there was a raised lip on a plastic cup or container that trapped water. We use the multi DW tabs and I set the Jet-Dry setting to 3 or 4 (read the manual). Determine the level for yourself as the manual recommends a setting of "0" if you use multi-tabs.
Other notes:
Baking sheets don't really fit in the bottom rack. The cooling racks with the little squares fit well, though you may need to tilt the 2nd rack. It takes practice to learn how to load the DW with your specific items and we are still learning a month after installation. Another thing, it is NOT completely silent. I don't know why I was expecting a cemetery silence but items such as large metal or plastic bowls definitely resonate during the wash cycle. But overall, it IS a very quiet machine and we are very pleased.

I highly recommend this product. We have used other major brands and I can say that none of them come close to Bosch. Dishes are always spotless and completely dry every single time. We have had Bosch in past and wasn't a big fan of the old condensation drying which is what caused us to change. This new and improved is absolutely perfect. This is the most expensvie dishwasher I have ever had and it works no where near as well as the cheapest junk I have ever purchased. It smells so that that after only the third wash I will try to return it. It's so so bad! I thought stepping up to the flagship model would be great. We recently upgraded to the Bosch 800 series and couldn't be happier. It's super quiet and does a fantastic job of getting our dishes clean. It saves on clean-up time (and water) because we don't have to rinse the dishes before we load the dishwashwer like we had to with our old one. We recently purchased the Bosch 800 Series Model SHEM78ZH5N. It is a beautiful appliance and it out performs any dishwasher that I have ever had. I am disappointed that this model did not include the water softener feature. I purchased this model over the less expensive models thinking it had the salt reservoir for homes with hard well water. It is a very quiet dishwasher and does a great job cleaning and drying dishes even using the Eco cycle.

As far as cleaning the Bosch is top notch. However, this now one we installed about a month ago suddenly stopped draining. The first issue I had was that I noticed soap residue when I filled a glass with water. I checked the rest of my glasses and they also had residual soap that was undetected by looking at them. Since the dishwasher has a setting for water softness and we have extremely soft water I thought maybe I needed to reset the water softness level. I was having trouble figuring out how to do that so I called Bosch. The first girl was of no help and actually made me a little irritated. I ended up calling back and the second girl I spoke with walked me through the softener setting and resetting the dishwasher as a whole. The soap problem has gotten much better but it has not resolved at 100%. However, since we have to have repair to come for the "not draining" issue I will have him to help with the soap issue at the same time. I do like the features of this dishwasher and when I put small pots on the top rack when I have too much in the bottom, they get sparkling clean. I also love, love, love the top silverware rack. The drying and sanitizing functions are also a big plus.

We replaced an old kitchen aid unit that was over 20 years old, this unit is so quiet we have to get up and look to see if we have started it. This unit has the third upper tray that my wife loves! No issue with the cleaning ability, far superiour to the old dishwasher and I love the cleanable filter system. My only issue is the door seems to be heavy and opens with no help or cushion as it opens fully??? May have something wrong with door system??

We had the Bosch 800 series installed in our open floor plan condo and had hoped it would be relatively quiet. It exceeded our expectations, can't hear it at all when running. Everything comes out very clean and dry, to include plastic containers. After a smudge or two on the stainless steel didn't clean up easily with soap and water we thought that was going to be a problem but tried Weiman SS cleaner and it worked easily.

We recently purchased this BOSCH 800 dishwasher. And we are very impressed with the unit. It is extremely quiet I can't even tell it's running. I love that it is a fully closed system. It has a sensor underneath it in case it has any type of leaks. The functionality of the touch keypad is very reactive to touch. The stainless steel is soft/satin and easy to clean and keep it fingerprint free if you use a microfiber cloth. My dishes have never been cleaner! Truly impressed with this dishwasher.

I wanted to buy the 500 series dishwasher but was forced to buy this model because of delivery details, but I must say I am very happy with the purchase.
There is a lot of room in this dishwasher for all my dishes, the adjustable middle rack is surprisingly helpful when it comes to tall dishes and bottles, and the top rack for spoons is very useful as well.
It does connect to wifi and my phone and sends alerts when rinse aid is low or when the wash is complete.
Unlike my old Samsung, this has a removable filter which is easy to clean.
All in all, this is a great dishwasher and would definitely recommend.

This is the third Bosch Dishwasher I have owened. This is by far the most advance and easy to use. I love the front display in that it offers just the level of information needed to determine the status of the wash process. Also, the WiFi connection to the machine is nice to know when the clean process is completed or if drying solution replenishment is needed. I installed the unit my self and found that to be very easy. My last unit was unfortunately damage by my son, no other issues. Yes this model is very expensive but I am very happy with the purchase.

Our 10 year old Bosch dishwasher as of May 2020 was no longer able to get a needed replacement part (Covid did not help). We wanted another Bosch but all stores had none available and were on backorder (Covid again). My husband became our dishwasher for 1 1/2 years. Had almost decided to buy another brand and went out one more time on the 21st of December. This time, we went to Best Buy here in Fort Worth. Looked at 2 brands in their model kitchens. Sales person asked which did we really want? I said the Bosch, of course, but know they are not available. He said "let me check in our local distribution center." He then told us he had one Bosch 800 series available and we could have it installed on the 28th of December. I said "SOLD". We were overjoyed and shocked that we actually found one after looking for a year and a half. Dishwasher was installed as promised on 12/28/21. My husband is still in charge of dishwashing (he loads and unloads). He oohs and aahs over how clean everything comes out and we also use the sanitizer selection since we are still in "Covid" time. We are loving our dishwasher and tell everyone how much we are enjoying our Christmas gift to each other. This is our 3rd Bosch dishwasher and our favorite so far. I have several other Bosch appliances and swear by them as quality products.

Love this dishwasher. It cleans and dries dishes great. It's quite as can be ( except on the quick cycle but I don't use that often). Great product and worth the extra money spent.

Very dissatisfied with the product.
The quality of the material is extremely poor and is just one medium strength pull away from it coming apart. The look of the product is also cheap. It is like an eyesore in the kitchen. We had a kitchen aid prior to this and it was so much better from a look and quality of material inside and outside. The one pro is I guess Bosch does a decent job of cleaning.
We bought bosch after reading about its history of great quality. But I'm extremely disappointed with what we got. We also got the smart wifi version but that is just completely unusable. Firstly, they don't have an app of their own. They partner with home connect, but you can't even set a daily schedule for a wash!! Whats the point of having remote connect then?
All in all, I am completely dissatisfied with my Buy
