This is my second Bosch dishwasher. I got this to replace the builder grade GE dishwasher in my new home as it was very loud. The new Bosch cleans very well and is almost silent, YAY. However the shallow third rack is not as useful as I thought it would be, not sure it was necessary. Another plus is the door exterior wipes clean easier than other dishwashers.

Super quiet and super cleean. Only way to know its working is seeing the floor led light is on. All dishes have come out spotless. Will load it up this Thamksgiving and give it a good workout but I know I won't be disappointed. The only issue I had is the long wait for delivery - 7 mos. But I'm glad I didn't switch to another branr.

It's a good dishwasher. Definitely quite but I can hear it. Funny how some folks say they can't, It way quieter than our old Kitchen Aid. We love the 3rd rack for utensils. I don't like the layout of the bottom shelf. All you can add are plates. It has no way to toughtfully add larger bowls or tall glasses or baking pans. Middle shelf is great for glasses but that's it. Basically this dishawsher was designed by someone with only plates, glasses and silverware in their home. Must have been a dude who doesn't bake and cook for a family everyday. I'm making due and stuff is coming out clean. Loading it just hurts my OCD. ;)

Have had several bosch dishwashers for over 25 years and l have loved the quality. Our last one we bought has had a major issue. The lower rack when full and heavy comes off the track and has to be lifted to get back on. Technician coming soon. When I googled this problem many other folks had a similar problem Hope to get it solved very soon.

We were initially not so happy with this dishwasher because, although dishes came out clean, they were not dry. After talking with customer support we tried Extra Dry option with rinse aid and dishes came out spotless and dry. We'd rather not use extra chemicals so will experiment with no rinse aid or natural alternatives like vinegar or hydrogen peroxide.

Sleek, efficient and very quiet. It shines a light on the floor to let me know that it is running, otherwise I probably couldn't always tell it was on. The door closes easily and the dish racks are very sturdy. I highly recommend the dishwasher!

Can't believe the design of this dish wa design is so bad. The plastic racks for the silverware holds water in every little triangle. If you take the silverware rack out your dishes will get soaked with the water. The middle of the top rack gets almost no water, it is obvious if you put a glass in the middle of the rack no water will ever hit it. The top top shelf is ,worthless, everting ends up with bits of food stuck on it. I thought Bosch was top of the line dishwasher. You can't easily return a dishwasher so I'm stuck with it:
Sooooo unhappy with this product. I do NOT recommend. The least you could do would be to ship me redesigned silverware baskets.

Love everything about it- the sleekness, how clean it gets my dishes, the spacious bottom row, the brilliant top silverware/catchall drawer for small items. Cost a bit more than the others but you get what you pay for. Couldn't be happier!

This dishwasher replaces my fridgedare dishwasher. That one dried my dishes completely. This BOSCH does a good job of cleaning but the door and plastic shelves are sopping wet, even with extra dry cycle and sanitize option. I am using dry finish and had BOSCH adjust settings over the phone with me to give me best options but I still have to dry my silverware and plastic with a towel. I would buy a different dishwasher with a heating element next time.

We have had the dishwasher two months already. So far, so good! There are occasionally dried food smudges on dishes, but I think it is due to lazy family members more than poor performance from the dishwasher. There are six of us here daily and we aren't pre-rinser/washers. I'm glad we went with Bosch again at the new house even though I thought I may have to choose another brand due to availability. Thankfully it came through in plenty of time for our kitchen project completion after all.

We bought this item for our condo when the original DW reached its useful life. Very attractive, easy to install and start up, and flexible in terms of using the whole space for certain difficult items. Of course it cleans brilliantly, and the 300 series is a great value.

We replaced our 10 year old Bosch dishwasher with a new one. The most frustrating thing about the new Bosch is that you have to close the door within 4 seconds of pressing start. We wake up many mornings with dirty dishes because we exceeded the 4seconds. There is apparently no way to override this ridiculous feature. Very frustrating!

When comparing different brands, Bosch claims to have 16 placesetting/"service for"capacity but when fully loaded the rack comes off the track or cannot be rolled easily, appears to be too heavy.

We received our Bosch dishwasher, installed it and ran it 3 times before we began getting error messages. We had a repairman check it out and he diagnosed a faulty mixing unit and we are waiting for parts. It has been out of commission for just about a month.

We just bought a Bosch Silence Plus 48 dBA dishwasher. Of the many dishwashers I have used since the 1960s, this is definitely the worst. Other than the silverware rack, which is nice, and the fact that it's quiet, it's designed so poorly that I wonder if it's really a Bosch. Neither of the two main racks is designed to allow efficient loading of the ordinary variety of plates, bowls, or glasses, resulting in having to run the dishwasher much more frequently than should be necessary. And when the lower rack is wheeled open, its wheels usually bounced into the space between the open front cover and the wheel tracks, noisily bouncing and clattering the dishes against each other. This is really a piece of junk, and Bosch should be embarrassed.

I first tried this on auto only, and the dishes did not get clean and were extremely wet after a day. I was told by the dealer to use normal with the extra dry feature, and that is working fine but more expensive to run. Loading is quite awkward because of the way the prongs are slanted. It just seems, for the money, that Bosch missed the boat on this one.

I have no complaints with how the dishwasher cleans. What I dislike is the silverware basket. It is very tedious to load each piece separately and place it in the slotted cover. If you do not use the slotted top the silverware bunches up and does not always get clean. I never had this slotted cover on previous dishwashers and silverware still got clean. Also the water does not completely drain off the basket so when you remove it to unload your silverware, things are still damp and water drips on counter. I wish I would have kept the old silverware basket from my previous dishwasher.

Bosch dishwashers were recommended to us by our daughter and our neighbors, who all had good experiences. The dishes come out clean and the machine is quiet. One negative is that wine glasses do not fit on the second shelf and we still do them by hand, a minor inconvenience. We anticipate a long life from this dishwasher.

We've been struggling with another vendor's model after a few years - dishes not being quite clean (or not even sure if it ran at all! During a kitchen remodel, we decided to replace it with this model (my wife's been seeking a 3rd row for a while). It works flawlessly. Our silverware has never been shinier and dishes never cleaner -- even if I don't even rinse them off to begin with. So far we are still in the honeymoon stage, we'll have to see how things go in the long term
