My dryer is only 8 months old and there was an issue with it not getting hot. I called Home Depot who in turn gave me the # to call LG. I spoke to a wonderful customer service rep who could not be any more helpful He set up a call for an LG technician who came to the house. I am still in awe that he fixed it with a span of 30 minutes taking the machine apart. He was quiet and left no mess. Very very pleased with LG. Gold Standard in customer service and repair.

Purchased this dryer based on my experience with an LG front loader that lasted for 14 years. This one less than a year after purchase the control panel had to be replaced. Now just over a year later I am having the same problem and I am assuming since it is doing the same thing as last time that it needs to be replaced a second time. At this moment I am totally dissatisfied and if it wasnt for the fact that I paid so much money for it I would trash it and still may because I can certainly not afford to have it worked on every year. We bought this dryer 22 days ago after our old dryer of many many years finally pooped out. We wanted a replacement quickly at a good price so we werent picky about color or brand. This one was half price and appeared well-made. The door could be opened from the top for easy loading it could be swung out sideways for easy unloading into a basket. Either way the door sounded heavy and sturdy like an expensive car door. We dont use all the fancy settings like internet connection to your phone. We turn off the Energy Saver option to make sure the load dries completely. So far were very satisfied with our purchase.

My honest review is I should have kept my old dryer. This drying has been nothing but headaches burns my bedding three technicians and still problem continues. The companys customer service it bad as well they have been no help. I am extremely disappointed.

I have owned this Dryer for about one month and really like the looks. The door opening two ways is very convenient. It may be more complicated than we needed but we got it at a good price. My only concern is I wish I knew how hot all the various temperatures actually are. Many of the preset program settings go to Med High. My wife is concerned about shrinking her clothes.

Brand new dryer and it sounds like the motor will blow up at any time. Ive had my service appointment changed 3 times and will finally have it looked at this week. Parts were ordered based on a description to a virtual assistant. Not sure these parts will fix the issue if not then they will be sending me one that works.

Since day one first load the dryer has not worked IT DOES NOT DRY I have reached out to the warranty company and they stated in order for them to replace the dryer they have to come in and attempt to fix the dryer four to five times and only then if issue has not been resolved will they consider replacing the dryer. Its ridiculous I shouldnt have to deal with any issue as this a brand-new dryer. I should have to wait to get it replaced I obviously got a defected dryer. I WILL NEVER BUY LG PRODUCTS AGAIN

Disappointed in this product. A year and half since the purchase and the control panel needed to be replaced. Cost $500 roughly half the cost of the original purchase. Got the run around when calling LG customer support and had to find a vendor to fix without any assistance.

Having owned this machine for two weeks now I can attest to the fact that this washer is the best on the market. I wash most loads in cold water and they come out perfectly clean and fresh. I watched numerous YouTube tutorials on how to make the most of the washers many benefits. There is a science to loading your clothes in the drum so that the top clothes will make their way to the bottom and get properly agitated and wet. You can add more water if desired and there are so many options for delicate items or comforters. I pre mix my bleach in a quart container and add it directly into the drum. Id rather do that than risk ruining the finish by using the bleach dispenser. Just hit the pause button and lift the lid at the appropriate time. I love the chime sound at the end of the cycle that lets you know your cycle is complete. I love the extra large capacity of this machine. I love that it can automatically sense how much clothes have been added and adjusts the water and the time for you. I look forward to many happy years of cleaning clothes with this beautiful machine.

I wouldnt buy this dryer again nor would I recommend it. The first few loads burnt holes in clothing and now the vent inside the dryer has burnt clothing material stuck to it. When I reached out to LG their customer service was very poor. We will most likely get rid of this brand new dryer in the near future and replace it and the washing machine with a different brand. Extremely disappointed in LG.

We love the actual unit once we had one delivered that worked. The first one we received would turn on and off by itself without anyone by it. Then it took almost two weeks to get a replacement delivered. This new unit works great and so far only had it 4 days its been working fine

I bought the first unit a month ago and three weeks later it didnt heat up. LG claimed there was a problem with gas pressure. according to the ridiculous self-testing procedure they have you go through. I called the gas specialists from my local utility who said that my gas pressure was perfect and confirmed it since my other gas appliances worked fine. The retailer gave me a brand-new unit. One week later it too didnt heat up. I called my gas service provider again who did an even more detailed check that came up with no gas line pressure problem. I then called a private licensed plumber who confirmed that the dryer had sufficient gas. Fortunately my retailer has been very cooperative during this issue which as of today is ongoing. Imagine LG sent me this request to do a review today. What they should do is send an expert to my home immediately to find out what is wrong with their dryers.

I bought my dryer 4 months ago and almost right away I started getting a random diagnostic code. It didnt happen every time. I eventually got through to customer service and they sent out a local technician. They have now been out 3 times supposedly rewired the dryer and put in a new igniter and it is STILL not working It is 4 months old and it was not the cheapest dryer we could find. I expected more from LG products. I also bought a washing machine at the same time and that has also had to have parts replaced because it started leaking during the spin cycle. I am very disappointed with my LG appliances. Customer service has mostly been helpful in getting a technician out.

Dryer works great. I love the door that opens two different ways which makes loading and unloading clothes much easier. There are lots of options for cycles so Im still figuring it out. I wasnt sure if the wifi feature would be useful but its nice to get notifications on my phone for cycle ending reminders to clean the lint tray etc.

This is the second dryer we got as the first one that was delivered didnt work. We were very frustrated with the LG tech support and the support of the retailer from which it was purchased. But after waiting a couple of weeks we received the second dryer and it works great. I love the way the door opens in both directions making loading and unloading clothes very convenient and easy. Im still figuring out all the features and settings.

We bought this until at the beginning of August after our old dryer stopped heating. With a family of five our laundry was backing up quickly. We were eager to get back to keeping up with it all. The unit washer too was delivered without issue. The dryer was properly hooked up and all the plastic was taken off. We looked over the manual and started drying the first load. After a little while we checked the clothes and they were cold. Our brand new dryer wasnt heating or drying our clothes. We checked the manual and did all the trouble shooting. Our gas supplier was called and everything checked out fine. We called Home Depot who we bought the unit through. After several phone calls we had a service apppintment and a few phone calls after that we had a replacement unit coming. The service appointment was scheduled for a week later and the replacement was scheduled for two weeks later. The technician never showed up for our service appointment and didnt call to let us know he/she wouldnt be coming the window was from 8-5 and my husband waited at home all day. The following day we received a message that the service appointment was reschuled for 4 days later. Mind you we still dont have a working dryer. We havent had it fixed and we still dont have a dryer that works because the replacement is on back order. School clothes baseball/softball uniforms football uniforms bed sheets etc. will continue to be shuttled around town to family and friends with dryers that work.
Needless to say we are less than thrilled. Hopefully if we get a working dryer and some compensation for rhe headache and extra work that this has caused us we can change our review.

Initially a good upgrade to 12 year old or more. After 4 months of light use the 9A5 error came up and unit had no heat. Had to schedule tech to come out and replace the igniter. They just dont make anything to last anymore. Hopefully that was a fluke and we will get longer use out of this one.

My dryer was delivered one month ago. There was a bit of a hiccup at first because my dry kept making a loud noise when it was running. I wanted a new dryer immediately. Instead LG sent a technician out who spent at least two hours taking the machine apart.

Ive had this dryer for almost a month and I really like it. That you can open the door from both the side and the top is so convenient--access is always easy regardless of what is in the laundry room or where. The capacity is HUGE. The lint catcher is right in the front of the machine and I swear it catches everything. No more little bits of forgotten tissue to pull off clothing. Honestly its probably got too many bells and whistles for my needs but youll pry it from my cold dead hands.
