I am extremely disappointed with the entire experience Ive had with LG regarding their fridge products and services. I purchased three fridges in total and each step of the process has been frustrating.
First the in-home delivery and installation services were terrible. The first two fridges I ordered didnt fit in my kitchen area despite the fact that the tech only took measurements. They never even saw the space where the fridge was supposed to go. This could have been avoided with a proper assessment.
For the third fridge I was convinced to buy a very small outdated model reminiscent of my grandmas fridge a simple two-door design with a top freezer and optional ice maker. When the installation team arrived they werent even able to install it. To make matters worse on Day 0 I discovered a 3-inch crack on the door making it clear that the product was defective.
Its been a week since I reported the issue and I still havent received any communication regarding my refund or credit. The lack of follow-up has only added to my frustration.
In summary LGs customer service and product quality have been incredibly disappointing. I would strongly advise against purchasing from LG based on my experience.

Very poor customer service. I ordered a brand-new refrigerator and waited almost three weeks for it to be delivered. When it arrived two people put the new refrigerator in the garage and removed the old one. They didnt place the fridge in the kitchen. Now Ive sent two emails and phone calls to customer service but still no one has come to help me move the refrigerator to the kitchen and install it. Im just endlessly waiting. I will never deal with this company again. Theyve left me with a very bad impression.

I bought a fridge last year. Everything was going fine until about 5 months ago the fridge broke down. I had to call them multiple times and spent hours and hours on the phone. Every time I called they gave me a different version on what to do. After 3 months they decided to give me store credit. With the store credit I need to go the their website to purchase another fridge even though they have bad quality fridges. I have no choice. I have to buy it from them only.... This is so ridiculous

I placed an order on May 15th for this refrigerator. Once I submitted the order I received an estimated date of delivery in mid-August. Two weeks later I briefly saw an estimated delivery date of November and the message processing on my order. I then received a text telling me that the device was temporarily out of stock and that LG would be in touch I purchased a new refrigerator because the one Im replacing is failing. I would not have placed an order if LG had been honest enough to report that the machines would take 6 months to be delivered. I then tried cancelling the order and received an email from LG telling me that they would consider whether the order could be cancelled and Im still seeing the cancel processing on my account I have other LG products which I love but feel that I was intentionally misled about the products availability. BY the way customer service consists of an AI redirecting you back to the same order info posted on your account. I called as well and while the woman was very nice she also could not tell me when the prodcut would be back in stock or available for delivery. .

Precisely 1 year and 27 days after this fridge was delivered to my house the freezer started to randomly stop working then refreeze itself again in cycles this is to the point where the runners for the bottom drawer froze solid shut. It was an FS F5 error for a temp sensor which since it was a few days out of warranty was no covered. This thing is junk.

Just got it delivered this week and so far its great. We did a great deal of research for counter depth French Door fridges and this was the top choice based on our needs. The ice maker does make a loud noise when the ice drops but otherwise it is very quiet.

I bought this unit about a month ago from Lowes. After installation we noticed the fridge wasnt cooling enough and wasnt making ice either. So I called the customer service and they sent the repair technician. I was told the coil was leaking and compressor was needed replacement. Not happy.

I purchased this refrigerator in December of 2022. I like many of the features about it however there is one change I would make and that is to make the meat drawer in two parts instead of one. The reason is that both French doors have to be opened in order to open the meat drawer.
Now for the part that is not good is that the refrigerator failed completely two weeks after the one year warranty ended. I lost everything and was without a refrigerator for over seven days before a service technician was available. Fortunately I purchased the extended warranty. It was repaired and has worked well since then.

We purchased this refrigerator in 5/23 and shortly thereafter it quit. A tech came out and attempted repairs and to no avail. WE went thru a process with LG and it took until 1/24 to receive a refund. The unit worked a total o f 27 days and the process with customer service was terrible.

Lovely fridge. I wish the shelves were adjustable height. And its annoying that I have to open both doors in order to open the large drawer - Id rather have two smaller drawers. But it is still a nice piece of equipment with tons of space.

Ive had this fridge since March. When the water refills and ice drops is the only time its loud. I had an issue with replacing the air filter. But I filled out a form and got a replacement part within a couple days. I am a true LG fan. Any appliance I buy from TVs to washers and dryers has been LG.

often the doors dont close by natural weight and a conscious effort must be made to insure closure as we hear the open door chimes frequently for the fridge and freezer. freezer compartment with overload of stuff doesnt really let you know if you have a good seal and sometimes you go in there and there is ice all over and a clean out is needed. When that happens the top pull out drawer jams up with ice and wont come out without an ice clean up
Do like that it keeps a constant temp well and ice cubes always available . Water and air filters were easily available and easy to change. would buy again

We bought our supposedly brand new LG refrigerator PRODUCT NUMBER: LRFGC2706S. SERIAL NUMBER: 302KRMMKKN587 on June 16 2023 from our local Lowes. About 4 months later the freezer was malfunctioning the items were frosted over with frozen sheets of water in the freezer. We called LG on 10/7/23 and they scheduled a repair. We unplugged the fridge to try and re-set it and it seemed to work. The repairman came on 11/1 and said it appears that what we did worked. That same night after the repairman left the freezer door was jammed frozen shut and only open enough to get my fingers in. I called the repairman no answer and LG and the started another work order and that same repairman returned a week later on 11/7 and said the stabilator rod with 2 wheels was bent. He removed it to ordered a new part. Were still waiting its now almost 2 weeks. Thanksgiving is next week. No calls from LG since. And this morning the freezer has started to frost over again. We do not over stock our fridge/freezer. The fridge location was not changed. No power outage or water damage. We have a faulty malfunctioning LG product.
I/We would NEVER EVER purchase another LG appliance ever again.

Ive had the fridge for a couple of months now and I am happy with it. The cubed ice is a plus but I do have to occasional bust up the sticking ones. The only thing I dont like is that only one door is self closing. Other than that its a good fridge. By using the app I was notified of an air filter replacement part that was available at no cost. Recall maybe? I recieved the part in 2 days. Great service.

Air filter NEVER installed by factory. Discovered at 6 month date when LG alert received to replace the air filter. Purchased and then tried to put new 4 inch SQUARE filter into retaining bracket but discovered that instead of a square retaining bracket there was a trapezoid shaped plastic bracket which obviously prevented the square filter from being installed. A simple case of a defective part and a assembly line idiot who knew the issue and just ignored it. Foreign LG customer support is terrible and numerous silent periods followed by a disconnect. I guess the frustrating process is designed that way. Problem still exists with no help.

In March this year I bought an LG Counter depth French door refrigerator. I previously had a side-by-side different brand refrigerator. It was the difference between night day. The lighting was amazing I felt like it was a treasure seriously. Even though they were the same size the LG had so much more room plus the bottom drawer freezer held much more than I was expecting. It is very quiet keeps the food much longer. I am so pleased with it.

I bought this refrigerator a little over a month ago when they had them clearance at Lowes. I was not a huge fan of the dual colored doors but the unit offers well appointed features: large capacity main cabinet filtered water and ice maker French style doors and temp controlled large bins in doors for optimal organization. These were all the features that I was looking for so I went ahead and made the purchase. After a month I can say that I actually like the knock knock: feature and dont really mind the dual colored doors. We initially had issue with some condensation on the inside of the door and the water not being cold enough from the dispenser but after turning down the cabinet temp a couple of degrees the temperature improved slightly - which is the only drawback of this fridge - the water dispenser where the cooling takes place is small - it only has about an 8 - 12 ounce capacity so that is the amount of water that gets cooled and actually comes out cold at a given dispense. After you dispense that amount you need to wait for a couple of hours for the next batch of water in the dispenser to get cold again. Not a big deal we just add ice to our larger containers however it would have been helpful to know this in advance so we knew that our new refrigerator was working properly

I have had this refrigerator for a couple of months now and I have really enjoyed it. It was a good way to move from my all black appliances and make the shift to stainless steel. The black unless tapped window makes that possible. We like the separate ice and water dispensers. I gave it four stars only because my last fridge started out great but by year 3 was almost useless. Ill have to see how this one holds up before I give it 5 stars.

LG has gained a ver happy customer Other than a rough start which was a Lowes thing NOT an LG thing I am really liking my new fridge. My LG MAX certainly lives up to its name: I have an enormous amount of usable space in both fridge freezer areas without sacrificing the built in look. The shelves compartments drawers are roomy once I moved a shelf it was customized to the exact specifications I wanted. I had to manually adjust the too cold temp but it was an easy process. The customer service support I received for my inquiries were quick thorough with a resolution. I am so pleased with my MAX hope I continue to be so. Bottom line: the MAX does what its supposed to do very well looks darn good sitting in my kitchen. No buyers remorse here

This refrigerator has been a nightmare. First LGs delivery service kept delaying delivering my refrigerator by 3 weeks LG did compensate me a small amount for the delay. Then after 1 month of it being installed it stopped working. When I called to get it serviced I was told no one could come out for 6 days. This is the only refrigerator I have in the house so this is a huge inconvenience. LG was the only appliances I used to buy but now I will not buy another LG product ever again.
