3 Parts failed at 12 months after purchase. Within 6 weeks fridge stopped working 3 times completely. Condenser failed and was replaced compressor failed and was replaced and the third part failed and it took them two weeks to send someone. Ive lost groceries three times. It has been extremely difficult to work with LG. After 3 weeks of calling every single day I was finally able to get a prorated refund. Absolutely ridiculous LG deducted money from the total I paid only 12 months ago. I will NEVER buy LG ever again.

Im very unhappy with your product. In less than 3 years the refrigerator has broken twice. The first time we had to pay for repairs replace all our food and had to eat out because we had no where to put our food. We are out at least $700.00 for this incident alone. Now the icemaker isnt working and I was told by your staff that I would have to have someone come in and fix it and that I would BE CHARGED for it. I called your helpbase after at least an hour after being working with your chatline and when someone went to transfer me I waited several minutes and then was hung up on. Refrigerators USED to last 20 years and this one which was not inexpensive has already broken twice. If you want to make this right get a technician in to fix it at no cost. Otherwise I will NEVER buy another LG product and will recommend to my friends and family NOT to buy a LG either. So far it seems to be a costly piece of junk.

I purchased from Best Buy. I think the water pressure in the drinking water is to high so it frequently sprays water and makes a mess. Also if you open the freezer drawer while its making ice the water will spray into the bottom of freezer. Otherwise its a great unit and spacious

I love this refrigerator The size of the freezer is generous which isnt always the case. The top refrigerator is very spacious. During Hurricane Milton I was without power for five days. I had ice packs in the freezer and my refrigerator kept cool.

bought it a month ago. Functioning fine. The 2 gripes I have - the door does not close without extra push. The water dispenser has no place to hold a container. If you dont have a container in place till the water stops - it will end up on the floor.

The description says it has a water and ice dispenser but it does not.
The installers sprung the door so it will not close properly but the LG overseas call operator wants a picture of the damage No one can be this stupid they must intentionally be trying to make it as difficult as possible you will just give up. Never do business directly with LG. Go to a local retailer.

We actually liked it up until a few weeks ago. We purchased it November 2023 but was remodeling so we did not install it until March of 2024 and the refrigerator stopped cooling in July. Were now going on 4 weeks without a refrigerator. It is super inconvenient and extremely annoying and infuriating to be quite honest.

The refrigerator itself works alright but the right side door does not close property. It does not pull itself closed. You have to push on it very hard to push it past a latch. Service came out to repair it and I was told nothing was wrong with it and I needed to learn how to close a door. It was very demeaning. On top if it he did not even have all of his tools and asked me for a number of things.

This refrigerator was supposed to be an exact replacement for our 6 year old 29 cubic foot 3 door LG model that died over the July 4th weekend. The Good: We were able to eliminate the upper ice maker and door ice dispenser that we never used on the previous model. The bad thing about that is that we neglected to clean out the ice that formed in there and then sublimated. Eventually this led to a build up of calcium deposits that slowly leaked out when you used the water dispenser. This also gives us a lot more usable space inside the left door. The Bad: 1 The water dispenser area is ridiculously shallow. Probably 1/3 of the depth of our previous LG 3 door. One has to hold your hand over the opening of every glass because the water just splashes out all over the front of the refrigerator. 2 The color selections today are so limited - like just only black interiors for cars. Although our house and all of our kitchen appliances are only 6 years old we could not get a basic black refrigerator to match so we got the black stainless steel - which is basically charcoal in color. The kicker is that all the surfaces of this new refrigerator ARE black with the exception of the doors. Its like somebody is taunting us that you COULD make a black refrigerator for you - but we dont want to.

We bought our French door LG about one month ago.
So far it has performed well.
We had to get used to pushing the doors closed as our former single door fridge tended to close by itself.
The alarm that goes off when doors not closed is helpful.
We like the temperature controls for fridge and freezer being on the outside door.
We like the cold water feature on the door.
When it was slow to make ice we looked up the issue and learned the freezer needs to be -4 degrees.
We think it is now making more ice but slowly.
We like the heavy door shelves that can hold bottles but we put the milk further inside as it was tending to spoil on the door.
Overall we like the refrigerator but it takes time to get the hang of opening the correct door.
Also one must open both doors to get to the central drawer.
The freezer could use some compartmentalization although we really like its upper drawer.

I didnt but it as it was in a new house that I purchased. I am happy with it as I am familiar with the brand. There are positives and negatives.
I like the size and the adjustability of the Fridge however I am worried that some of the shelves may not be able to take very heavy bottles but so far I have not had any issues.
One area thats a problem is the water dispenser not the easiest for a 8 year old to stop spilling water on the ground as they tend to be looking at an iPad while trying to get water.
Overall a good product and will look at other lines .

I would have given 0 stars if I could. I bought this refrigerator the end of March 2023. In the middle of January 2024 I noticed that the ice maker was no longer working. Two days later I realized that it wasnt the ice maker but the fact that the refrigerator and freezer were no longer keeping the correct temperature. I called LG and they arranged to have a LG certified tech come out the middle of the following week. He was here no more than 3 minutes when he said oh its the compressor. I will order the part and hopefully it will be in by next Wednesday. On January 31st he replaced the compressor and the refrigerator started cooling. Less than 2 weeks later I went to get out some ice and found melted ice and water in the bin. I called LG and they said they would send out the technician again but I heard from the tech who told me they would not be coming out again and they recommended a replacement or reimbursement to LG. I heard nothing from LG and several calls later I got a representative who finally agreed to submit a claim to the tech department and then a presidential liaison would be assigned to the case. Progress was being made No my liaison came up with several hoops that I would have to jump thru She reached out to the tech to see why the refrigerator was determined unrepairable and they gave her their reason but that wasnt good enough. She would need pictures but there were none. In lieu of that she would need another tech to come out and give their opinion. And oh she was awfully sorry but there really werent any other certified techs nearby so she would do her best. On Friday I got a call from a company that will be coming by next Thursday to check it out. As you can see the feeling from LG and my liason is that there is no big rush. Oh and by the way she would need a copy of my receipt from when I bought the refrigerator. So I sent her the receipt that bestbuycom sent me along with a copy of my credit card bill showing that bestbuy did charge my card that day for the same amount that was on the receipt. Oh no that receipt was no good because it didnt show the break down taxes and total paid amount and my credit card bill couldnt be used to show proof of purchase. So I sent her a better copy of the receipt which very clearly showed the break down and taxes. It also had list price and paid price. That wasnt good enough. I called Best Buy and they said that is their receipt but they would try to print out something that showed it was paid. I never heard back. I dont know how they think that I would have had a store deliver a refrigerator to my house without me paying for it. When I asked my liason why she is making me go thru all this back and forth and why she feels no urgency to get this resolved she repeatedly said that she was just trying to help me. So now here I am a month since I called for my warranty fix. I still do not have a working refrigerator. I am tired of living out of a cooler and buying ice I am disgusted with the amount of food that got wasted. Other thing is they act like they cant believe this happened. However all you have to do is look up LG compressor on the internet to see tons of posts and even a law suit in regards to this problem. I wish I had done that before purchasing this lemon. When I was looking for a new refrigerator I found all these great reviews on this model. Dont believe those reviews I will never buy another LG appliance again

I have had this refrigerator for about a month. Like all the features and especially the jug room for storage in the doors. LED lighting is great. My only complaint is how shallow the space is for the water dispenser. Makes it more difficult to fill water bottles otherwise a great product so far.

Weve had the refrigerator a couple of weeks now and are very pleased with its features and space. We like the form and size of the ice cubes
One thing that we noticed is that there are no plug/covers for the door handle set screw openings. These would prevent a cleaning issue as these holes will collect gunk over time.

Great fridge but the right door stopped closing correctly out of the blue. Turned out to be the plastic latch piece under the right hand door had broken Look for part # LG 4620JJ2009A DOOR STOPPER either through LG or Amazon EBAY etc. its a cheap fix and stops the problem immediately I bought the replacement part and a spare for under$20

Bought this refrigerator new in July2023. The fan went out the day before Thanksgiving. We had to use the chat which was totally useless. Did what they told us to do but didnt fix the problem . We were not offered a repair call or even a Mr to speak to anyone. . Finally were able to schedule a repairman but it was Dec 4 before the refrigerator was fixed. The repairman was very fast and knowledgeable. However we are VERY disappointed with our overall experience and will NEVER buy another LG product

This particular product is a replacement for another model we had that kept having issues with the ice maker. We had an extended warranty but when LG finally stopped trying to figure it out after replacing it for a second time they gave us credit to get a new refrigerator. By that time they had stopped making that model so we were forced to spend more money than the allotted credit if we wanted something similar.
That brings us to this current product. Weve had it for 2 1/2 years for the most part problem free. That was until recently 2 days before Thanksgiving the refrigeration top stopped cooling. We called LG immediately because it was still under warranty but they couldnt send someone out until the next Monday. I called an independent appliance repair man who diagnosed the problem but was unable to repair it quickly because he said the part blower was difficult to get due to the fact that it can only be obtained through the LG parts department. So I called LG back hoping to expedite the process of delivering the part but no they said they require their own technician to diagnose the problem. This time they said they can send someone out on Saturday Nov. 25 instead of Monday. He comes and is here for roughly 10 minutes and confirms that it is a defective blower. He places an order for the part and says hell get back to us later that day with the shipping info and estimated DOA. After the second day of no confirmation of the part being ordered we call LG again. They confirmed an order had been placed but couldnt give me any shipping info but said we should receive it by Dec. 1 and to call them when it arrives to our home so we can schedule another technician to come out. Friday Dec. 1 rolls around and still no part. We call again and this time they were able to give us a tracking number but was still unable to provide a DOA. The # only gave us a current location and destination and the location provided was nowhere near my home. I asked the customer service rep why they didnt overnight the part and was told that had to be requested at the time of the order being placed. It is now Dec. 4 and still no part still no DOA. I had to go purchase 2 mini fridges to keep basics cold.
Ive had other LG products before like TVs Washer/Dryer and dishwasher. All have been better than average. Unfortunately the LG refrigerators weve had have been less than reliable. And the customer service has been just as poor. The next problem I have once my extended warranty is up it certainly wont be replaced with another LG refrigerator.

We have had this fridge for 3 weeks and the temperature is up and down constantly it fluctuates between 32 and 42. We have to keep it set to 33 to keep our food from spoiling. Other than that its a very nice appliance. We love the slim water feature and the ice maker in the freezer.

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER DESLT WITH I WILL NEVER EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM LG They resolve nothing and if they try to they take their sweet time to do anything about it We bought a refrigerator on 9/2023 and it stopped working on 10/2023 . Have been calling nonstop to get a refund or exchange. Every phone call I make they say to give them few business day or 24 hours to get a technician to fix refrigerator. They proceed to say if you dont hear back from us next time YOU call we will refund you. Well once those business days go by and I call them they say they have no records of me calling or them saying that. They did this to me 3 times . We have been eating out for a month and we have kids. They give you no resolution. The last time u spoke to someone they finally got a technician and it was because I reached out to them and it was passed the promised timeframe. The technician they are sending are a 2 party and they even said they get bad reviews on LG . Im still waiting for a technician. They hear the same complains from them. This is a honest legit review.

Fan to fridge broke after 2 years. It took 2 weeks to get someone to repair. Very hard to communicate with customer service. All they do is try to guide you to website and troubleshooting.

I got this refrigerator on 11/29/21 it stopped working on 10/22/23. We did not even have this refrigerator for a full 2 years it broke the issue in simple terms was that the fan to the refrigerator section just stopped running so only the freezer worked. The refrigerator broke because the part stopped working not because of anything we had done which is sad given it was still in new condition otherwise since we had only had it for such a short period of time. I paid for the protection plan through home depot to cover it for 3 years when we first got it when I called home depot when it broke I was told we had to contact LG to get this fixed. We made multiple phone calls as we were transferred told to call different numbers multiple times before finally spending 2 hrs on one of the calls reaching a rep. The rep then told us that there would be no technician to fix it immediately we had to wait for someone to contact us. 2 days later I got a text saying that on Monday 7 days from when we placed the claim a tech would come. I was told a tech would come on Monday but I was never told what time the tech was coming as someone had to be home so I had to spend an hour on hold on the phone to get through to find out he would come between 8am-12pm on a Monday. The tech called me on Monday at 1145am told me he would be at our home in an hour even though we were told he would come between 8am-12pm. I had to take the entire day off of work to be at the house for a tech who didnt show up on time when he got to our house he said he did not have the part he needed so we would have to wait for it to be ordered shipped to us. I called 2 days later to find out what the timeline was was told that the part came in the day before however no one contacted us I was told that there was someone coming now on Fri to fix it with the correct part between 1pm-5pm. I was irritated that I only found this out by calling on Wed was never told when or that a tech was now coming Fri so I had to take another entire day off of work to be home at the last min for our refrigerator to be fixed. I work 2 jobs as a nurse so it is not easy to get days off especially at the last min with no notification from the company without them asking for my permission to be home before scheduling a date without my knowledge. Between this whole ordeal just to get it fixed the fact that it broke after not even 2 yrs of use I was not satisfied will probably never buy or recommend an LG product ever again.

I recent moved and the previous refrigerator was very tiny. I had about 40 people coming for my unexpected memorial service this refrigerator fit the space. It worked so well the day was a success and fit all the different dishes. Im so happy

So far so good. My last LG refrigerator was top of the line and in perfect shape but the compressor failed in only 7 1/2 years too costly to fix. I trust that LG has improved compressor quality to instill confidence in their customers as I received a 15 rebate which was a small financial compensation for the cost of a new refrigerator after only 7 1/2 years due to a defective compressor. But at least there was some compensation. I like the interior spaciousness. Being able to store so many items in the door storage has truly made my shelf storage more organized. No more crowded shelves

Enormous capacity Black Stainless Steel exterior complements our other kitchen appliances. The front of the refrigerator does not accept magnets but the sides do that will help keep it looking uncluttered. The freezer reached operating temperature within hours the refrigerator took a bit longer but once it reached the set temperature it is maintaining it well. The door shelves accommodate tall items but the top 2 refrigerator shelves can be split if you want to store tall items inside the refrigerator. The doors do not close automatically just a gentle push is needed and there is a door open alarm if the door remains open too long. Both refrigerator doors do need to be open to access the pull out a vegetable drawer or the lower tray but that is not a concern. So todays rating is 5 stars.

I am in love with my new LG refrigerator. Its big and roomy and looks beautiful in my kitchen. I wasnt sure about the French door style but it is so much easier to navigate than side by side. The outside is sleek and beautiful and I love the friendly sound it makes when its reminding me not to leave the door open too long.
