The frig works great but I am having the same problem that many report ... the water that comes out of the dispenser tastes vile ... plasticy and chlorinish. Have followed all recommendations per LG for this issue.

I bought this refrigerator two weeks ago. The refrigerator works well however there is a cosmetic flaw in the finish on one of the doors. I called LG but the customer service rep told me there was nothing they could do. Very disappointed in LG customer satisfaction efforts.

It just sits there... No noise no ice maker drama and looking pretty. Plenty of convenient space on the doors and shelves. Ice is dispensed super cold so less is needed. If more is required then there is an extra Ice maker in the freezer for special occasions. No annoying lights or displays on the doors but has a conveniently located and intuitive control panel inside for settings.

Very happy with my French Door Refrigerator counter depth actually more space inside.Only concern is water filter first one that came with fridge gave us a terrible taste to water . Replaced and perfect now hopefully all future ones will be perfect too.

We had bought to LG refrigerators. Expensive and beautiful but both crapped out in less than 6 years. The 1st ones circuit board burned out. It was deemed irreparable. LG would do nothing. We bought a 2nd one and the compressor fried in the 5th year. LG would only send a compressor to an authorized repair man but wed have to pay over $500 and they wouldnt guarantee it. Two beautiful refrigerators that didnt even last 12 years together. Thats pathetic. Working with their people was horrible trying to resolve it. And most repairment will not touch LG products. Beware of LG

Have issue with the water dispenser changed multiple filters and it does tastes bad again. Tech came out and told me i have to change my water lines. I asked what does that have to do with the fact that the filter does not purify and he had no answers.

I bought this refrigerator with the hopes of no problems. Refrigerator came with doors not properly leveled. Had to have repair done from first day Repair man scheduled appointment one week out. He spent 2 hours leveling and making doors level and somewhat level.

French door on the right is higher noticeable difference and noticed by everyone first thing that is mentioned. Been trying for 3 months to get it fixed. Call once a week and get the run around after telling the same issue with 3 different people Im told that a work order will be made and still after 3 months has not been fixed. No follow thru LG does not care

I am happy with the refrigerator but the drawers in the plastic items inside it I believe are made very cheap. Would have like something a little more stronger to hold up against crack in the plastic.

Have had this model for just under a year. So far it works well does everything it is supposed to do. One negative the inside of the left hand door is not as deep as the picture shows. Little jars or flat jars or containers are all that will fit thats ok. My biggest complaint is the door alarm. Never had a fridge that you could not regulate this feature. It has one setting LOUD. Big mistake on LGs part. If left open for more than a minute it starts in dinging and will not stop until door is closed. Every other feature works as it should so far.

I have had the refrigerator for only 13 months and only moved in to the house full time for the last 7 months I month out of warranty the fan goes and has to be replaced for 455 dollars rather expensive for a repair that took 10 minutes to fix.. Both the freezer and ice maker fan had to be replaced its one unit.

Ive had my new fridge a little over 3 weeks. Initially I was not happy ordering a counter depth but that was what would fit through the door. There are several things that I like more about this fridge than my last one. It has really big vegetable bins I use a lot of fresh produce so this is great I also like the square ice cubes it makes and the ice bin. Deep sides and all the ice stays in it. The exterior fingerprint resistant stainless is very nice and truly IS fingerprint resistant. It hardly gets anything on it.

$2000.00 down the drain after only 5 years Compressors are junk Have to pay someone to get it out of our house. Several repair businesses we contacted said its too expensive and too involved to repair better off to spend our money on a different brand. We are retired and on a fixed income and expected this refrigerator to last us for many years. We will never again purchase an LG refrigerator

This refrigerator had to be replaced because it never cooled or made ice.
It took from 15 July till 4 September till a replacement refrigerator was authorized by LG.
On 6 September replacement refrigerator was delivered and this one is working fine.

I bought this fridge three months ago. Its Ok my review is meh. Would not buy this again.
Pros:
- I like the extra ice maker that provides plenty of ice in the freezer bin this is a great feature. Even with the freezer ice bin the freezer is big enough to provide plenty of storage.
- This is a counter-depth fridge but its HUGE Theres tons of storage. Thats a big plus.
Cons:
- I hate the water / ice / crushed ice dispenser. Yes its through the door which is good but operating the water dispenser leads to constant water spills because you cant see the dispenser its hidden so far up inside the mechanism that you have to go hunting for it every time. Also it dispenses with a huge gushing flow that inevitable leads to spills and overflowing. Theres a tiny light behind the dispenser that is useless it doesnt help you see anything.
- If you ever have to reset the ice dispensers in the door and freezer good luck If you wanted to hide the nuclear codes where no one would ever discover them you should hide them in these dispensers theyll never be found. This newest model no longer has easy to access ice on and off buttons they used to be clearly marked - thats what youll find on YouTube etc but alas there are no markings anymore and the locations are almost impossible to find and access. Instead you have to go fishing for invisible undetectable TINY access spots that you then have to press and hold while water gushes out of the door dispenser onto the floor. I spent hours with LG customer service trouble shooting both ice dispensers and the service guy couldnt find it when he finally showed up. I ended up having to take a freezer dispenser SELFIE you cannot see the underside of the freezer ice maker ergo the selfie and had to take a photo of the back and underside of the in-door ice maker send those to customer service and have them talk me through the process of resetting both ice dispensers. Ridiculous. The ergonomics here are for contortionists only.
I would never buy this fridge again.

Its on wheels so easy to move. like everything about except having to move the ice dispenser control on the outside to get water or crushed ice. Watch out for the freezer gasket did have to call twice for service as it was faulty. But all good now that it is replaced. TERRIFIC SERVICE DEPT
