The range has a very nice bold stance. It cooks well and is quick to heat. One big problem is that the display is difficult to see. Would be nice if it lit to display desired functions.

Missing protective glass cooktop protecter

Ive had it for about one month. So far it seems like a great range. When I was researching this cooktop I saw that LG had a protective glass sheet one could buy to keep the actual induction top from becoming scratched or damaged. Now that I want to purchase this item it is NOT findable on the website or by Chat agents. Very frustrating. When I could not buy the see-thru glass protector from LG I purchased a silicon protector from Amazon but it is not possible to see where the burners are or the power line. Please contact me with the parts number so that I can order this item.

This stove changed me... for the better

This range changed my preference from gas to electric cooking The main pro of this range is the induction cooktop I love it. Ive used a few other ones and LG is the best non-luxury range Ive experienced. The oven is pretty quick and feature-rich too. Ive seen many reviews complaining about the keypad not being backlit but I thankfully dont see that as a con. If any light in my kitchen is on I can see the keypad fine. One neat feature is that the back-right burner is a radiant heating element in case you have a small pan or pot that isnt induction compatible. I also appreciate using the ThinQ app to know when the oven is preheated or a timer is complete.

The induction stove top is extremely fast and responsive. Oven temperature is accurate. Controls are easy to understand and use. The app is very handy. It was easier than expected to switch to induction from our 12-year old gas stove and the performance of the new appliance is orders of magnitude better.

After reading these reviews Im sick that I just spent over $2000 on an induction range that I also cant read without a flashlight. I bought the range 6 months ago and as it was not connected or energized I had no idea I wouldnt be able to read it. I recently called your LG service technician because I thought it was burnt out or damaged. He informed me that the range was not damaged and was designed NOT to illuminate the display. How could a company like LG market a product with a major flaw like this when the rest of the range is great. I wish I never would have bought it.

The range is pretty basic after using it over a year. When first delivered the entire front of the range was crushed. It had to have happened before packaging because the box was in perfect condition. Safe with the dishwasher we purchased. It was also damaged prior to packaging. LG quality control needs improvement before they are sent out the door. The range has now started making a loud buzzing noise and we are currently working through the warranty repair process. The 3 warranty technicians that have come to my house so far with no fix said they wouldnt recommend LG appliances. After a year of use I agree. The features are OK but the air fry option doesnt work really well so we went back to our countertop air fryer. We purchased an entire kitchen set and I feel the same about all of the appliances. All and all they are functional but these dont meet the higher end expectations that we had for the price we paid. We may repurpose them for a rental kitchen and start over.

Mostly I have been surprised. I have cooked on gas propane and wood most of my life. The few times I was forced to cook on an electric ranges was very disappointing and much less than a satisfactory experience. But this LG induction range shocked me. I am amazed by how fast it comes to heat and how flexible it is for heat control. It has been a little bit of a learning curve in that I have to cook at lower power levels than I did with a gas stove. Frankly I will say I now prefer induction over anything except my outdoor smoker grill. Nice job LG.

I want to love our new range but weve had issues. One of the burners started to make a loud noise when you turned it on sounded like a ghost. An LG repair guy has been out twice to service it but despite videos Ive taken with the noise he didnt know how to fix it and ended up replacing all the parts in the burner. He told us that if the noise comes back then we need to buy new pans specifically copper pans $$$ and have an electrician change our three-prong outlet to a four-prong outlet. Neither of these directions were specified when we purchased our range otherwise we wouldnt have chosen this particular product. We have All-Clad stainless steel pans that are perfectly compatible with induction so to expect us to go out and buy new copper pans is insane. It feels like LG has made us jump through hoop after hoop and I wouldnt recommend this product.

I bought this a few weeks ago to replace a high end gas range. Amazingly the stovetop is at least twice as fast as that old high power best. Better still I pretty much cannot start a kitchen fire. And its a breeze to get totally clean. The oven is fabulous too. Heats faster than gas by a wide margin and seems quite even. Very happy with the purchase. This model has 4 induction burners plus a keep my warm old style burner.

Temperature control of induction burners is great. Blue enamel inside oven prone to damage when sliding racks in and out. Was missing Rear Filler part and took three calls to Customer Service to finally get it delivered. Stainless steel between cooktop and front controls scratches very easilycould be remedied by having a raised lip between glass cooktop and stainless steel trim piece.

The very first time the oven rack was pulled out it scratched the enamel owned it probably 3 weeks. In my experience if you pull the oven rack out the enamel in the oven will scratch. When we moved out the oven rack a second time and it scratched more. Overall I really like the range however I dont even want to pull out the oven rack because I am worried it will scratch more. Based on this I cant give this range above 2 stars. Contacted LG since I did not think the oven should scratch so easily and had a very bad experience with no help. Even though it does not seem like this is supposed to happen LG customer support would not help because they consider it cosmetic. Honestly one of the worst customer support experiences I have had.

DO NOT BUY THIS RANGE The dimensions in the installation guide are wrong and now the range juts out from my new island. And LG has the worst customer service Ive experienced from any major company. Chat gets cut off people on the phone dont know anything etc. Avoid at all costs..

The new stove is taking a bit of time to get use to as we had a gas stove. There are many benefits of the induction burners over the gas. When stirring items like gravy nothing burns to the side of the pan. My metal utensils dont get so hot you burn your hand if you fogot to take it out of the pan. It heats up much quicker. We just had to learn which setting it best to use to achieve the heat we want. I love that when using the stovetop it doesnt heat up the kitchen just the pan That is one of our main reasons for purchasing this particular stove We did have to purchase new cookware that was compatible with the induction burners. It was a bit sad because we had a very nicecomplete set. Love the new cookware though We did know that the cookware we had wasnt compatible before we purchased the stove. I absolutely love my blue oven. I get such a kick out of opening it and seeing that gorgeous blue. Love the convection but it is taking time to get use to it. It works a bit differently than my gas ovens convection setting. It is a great oven and cooks more evenly than our gas oven. Over all I love the stove. Especially knocking lightly on the oven window to turn on the light

NO BOTTOM HEATING ELEMENT IN OVEN

There is no bottom heating element in the oven. All the heat comes from an opening in the back wall which needs a fan to circulate. So the oven is basically only convection. There is no difference that I can see between the Bake mode and Convection mode. The fan runs whenever the heating element is on. This tends to overcook tops and leaves bottoms undercooked. There are times you want a traditional bake mode which is says it has but doesnt and a convection bake mode. I do NOT recommend this product.

Ive had my induction stove for about two months. I absolutely love it. It cooks like a dream. The quality is excellent. I love all the features but my favorite is how quickly water boils. This is a great stove for a great price.

The machine is really a heat pump for cooking. What I like about it is theres 11 different power settings on each of the induction burners so you dont overcook or undercook your food. Really amazing and the bottoms of your pans dont get scratched. The downside is the control panel on the front is not back lit so its difficult to see your settings and use the keypad. Id say its pretty wonderful range

I bought this induction range over a month ago. It was delivered and installed just before Christmas. I used the oven once and the enamel pealed. It was under warranty and is being replaced. Other than that I love the range

We replaced our 6 month old competitor brand induction range after multiple problems and terrible service from them. We looked at the LG induction range the professional reviews and comments from current owners and decided to upgrade from our existing competitor brand range. Our ownership experience with LG has been night and day. Documentation is excellent service is great and the range offers all of the features and qualities that youd expect from LG. We are delighted.
