I love all the smart features. My favorite is that it automatically sets to the settings I use most and that the dryer automatically sets to the best option based on the washer setting. Would have given 5 stars but the dryer lint trap broke a few months after purchasing. The replacement was covered by warranty though.

I would have given this 5 stars but could not because within the past year around the opening of the dryer door the PAINT has started peeling along the edge of the opening. When I called customer service to ask about it I learned it was considered cosmetic and since I was out of my original warranty basically I had to just live with it. It is absolutely ridiculous that the paint is peeling after 3 years. So as a result unfortunately I will never purchase another WashTower again and its too bad because otherwise this is a great machine.

I bought the LG Washtower a month ago and it has been a nightmare ever since. Heres why:
1. I purchased Haul Away service for my old washer/dryer units though my husband sold those units before the LG Washtower was delivered so I called LG for a refund they said yes no problem and a month later - Never received my refund.
2. LG Washtower was installed on Thursday December 7 2023 everything seemed fine at the time. The first day I used it to wash a light load of laundry baby clothes was next day on Friday December 8th. Washer worked fine the problem was with the dryer - I continued to get an error message displayed. D95. I put it on a different setting and another error message: D90 both of which are exhaust/venting issue per owner manual. I stopped using the unit as it can CAUSE FIRE per owner manual and googling it. I never had an issue like this with my old washer/dryer installation.
3. I called LG immediately same day Friday December 8th for a resolution and they scheduled me in for the following Thursday December 14 between 1-3pm appointment with their third party delivery agent who handles installation issues same company who delivered/installed the unit. I switched around my work meetings so I can be there for the appointment. I get a voicemail around 10PM from someone at the delivery agent company the night before theyre supposed to arrive telling me they will be over at 10AM next day Thursday December 14th. 10AM? My appointment is for between 1-3PM
4. I called the delivery agent company back first thing in the morning when they open at 8AM and spoke to Phillip. I told Phillip I cant make it for 10AM my appointment is for between 1-3PM and I switched my work meetings around so I could make this time. He said he cant do any other time today just the 10AM is available to me and Im the first stop on his route that day. I said I could not make 10AM. Phillip proceeded to yell at me and give me attitude saying I messed up his route and his day I said this isnt my fault the installation was done wrong in the first place. He then proceeded to blame me for getting a D95 error message on the unit display- saying it is user error I said Im not calling to argue Im calling to let you know I cant make 10AM today. He had the next available appointment on Saturday December 16th between 1-3PM so I said yes and took that appointment window.
5. Friday December 15th next day rolls around and I never got a confirmation call of my appointment next day. Saturday December 16th rolls around and the guy is a NO SHOW
6. Monday morning December 18th I called LG again with a complaint about their delivery agent company. They put in an escalation to senior management stating I will receive a phone call within 24-72 hours. I NEVER RECEIVED A PHONE CALL. I call LG back on Thursday December 21 and they logged the incident and said a manager would call me within 24 hours. I NEVER RECEIVED A PHONE CALL.
7. I asked LG customer service person to call the delivery agent company themselves and I was put on hold as they did and twice on two separate occasions they tell me they just get voice mail and they send them an email instead. This is horrible customer service - seems like LG works for the third party delivery agent company not the other way around. LG is at the mercy of the delivery agent company.
8. It has been a month since I purchased the WashTower and am still unable to use it. I am inconvenienced by needing to go to the laundromat to wash/dry my clothes and I continue to waste my time and energy calling and speaking with LG customer service and this joke delivery agent company. It seems to me like LG doesnt care about the customer after the initial purchase is made. I spent $2000 and just got a huge nightmare from this all. I would keep the unit but ONLY IF IT WORKS OBVIOUSLY I didnt want the return window to pass so on Friday December 22nd I called and requested a return. LG customer service asked me if I didnt want to wait for the phone call from management I said no. LG customer service person asked me again: Are you sure you want to return and not wait for a phone call? At this point she was being really pushy. Clearly not wanting me to initiate a return. I firmly said nobody has called me back initiate a return. It turns out LG Customer Service woman processed a FAKE RETURN I asked for a return confirmation and she said 697459. This return doesnt come up anywhere in their system and I never received a confirmation email. LG IS A SCAM
9. Dont buy from this company. Life Is Good is a lie - LG: LIFE IS GREED is their motto. Dont care about the customer. Just sell you crap you cant use. If I could move the 311 pound unit myself to fix the exhaust/venting in the back I would do it myself. But I cant. And I wont. And I paid $2000 thinking it would be taken care of but nope. LIFE IS GREED.
10. Youll be getting a call from me again first thing in the morning. LG IS CRAP. I am posting that everywhere on social media and telling all my friends and colleagues to stay away from this company. Zero stars if I could. What a scam.

Bought the LG Washtower several weeks ago and am thoroughly enjoying it. It is sleek looking quiet efficient easy to operate and very user friendly. Love all of the flexibility in wash and dry cycles temperature settings and load settings. Was first afraid of the new digital type cotrols but now enjoy them and find them easier to use than the old mechanical type.

I am totally impressed with the LG Washtower After reading numerous glowing reviews I decided to make the purchase. At first glance I was a bit intimidated by the controls but after reading the manual I found them surprisingly easy. I also connected it to the Thinq app which turned out to be a convenient bonus. By using to the recommended small amount of HE laundry detergent my laundry comes out exceptionally clean. Doing laundry has become a fun experience and the unit adds a stylish touch to my utility room. I highly recommend the LG Washtower its a purchase Im extremely satisfied with.

We bought this to replace a 22 year-old GE Profile stacked set. This unit is a couple of inches taller and didnt fit into our existing space. Seems the standard height has increased a bit in 20+ years. Shouldnt be a problem for most situations.
The additional height comes with a much larger capacity for both the washer and dryer which is a huge benefit.
The front control panel is easy to use and both the washer and drier have predefined cycles available with a single button push. Via the app you can also download a cycle from a list of additional predefined cycles once you have connected the unit to your WiFi.
The washer allows the user to adjust the cycle settings like the water temperature. The dryer however is not as flexible in that you cant adjust the temperature but you can adjust the dry level. This forces you to find the cycle with the temperature you want and then adjust the other settings.
Getting notified on my phone when the cycle is done is great. Clothes are removed from the dryer more often when still warm before they wrinkle.
Some suggested improvements:
- let the user adjust all parts of the currently selected cycle e.g. dryer temp.
- define a dewrinkle cycle available via the front panel that runs for a few minutes on med-high heat that can be used when clothes have sat in the dryer for a while.
- allow the user to define their own cycle in the app and have it available to all users that connect to the machine e.g. my wife can see cycles I create
- once downloaded make that cycle available for all future uses without needing to launch the app to download it again unless another cycle is downloaded
- in the app provide a table that shows all attributes for the cyclecs rather than forcing the user to click each one to see its definition
Most of the above can be addressed via updated software. Hoping to see them addressed in the near future.

I have had my Wash Tower for a month and am very pleased. I was constrained by the size of the closet that the unit had to fit in. It can accommodate much larger loads than my previous stacked units and I appreciate the automated features pre-selected temp/spin etc

Since this unit replaced a 21-year old unit I think its a bit premature to rave. Time will tell. Check back later.
I think the unit is not quite beautiful but certainly good to look at 2 circles on a white field and outwardly well designed. The controls are well positioned and for the most part clear in their iconography. On-off start-stop dry this way or that way. Same for the washer. I avoided the wifi connection after it failed to initialize properly the first time I have no need to check the wash while in the car. The clothes are very clean. I believe I save lots of water and soap in part owing to the slightly tipped wash tub. The instructions of wipe downs and cleaning the dryer filter are very important since most modern machines have the propensity to smell if not properly aired. I think too many of us think no maintenance is a fine paradigm. Anyway it is a great unit that attends to our needs in our 2-person household. Recommended.

A bit early to write a review as durability and longevity are part of overall satisfaction. We have been using the Tower for a few weeks. Very welcome large capacity in a modest footprint. Controls are easy to read and use. The manual was a bit daunting but we just used what we needed to get a load washed and dried. Lovely doors against the well painted body. I think the installing tech had an easy time doing their part. Well done LG.

We really love it. It is really quiet and we love the Quick Wash. The increased size of the washer and dryer capacity is wonderful. It gives us so much extra room for storage in the Laundry Room.

I am mostly happy with this washer dryer. It fits in our small area. My only complaint is that it is a smart dryer so it will sense when things are dry. Although sometimes things arent dry and it will continue to end the cycle even if the items arent dry.

This was purchase a month ago to replace our washer and dryer. As seniors over 65 we needed an easier unit to do laundry. We are very happy with the LG WKG101WA single unit. It meets our needs completely.

I love the price and the size but the installer checked the unit a lie and after they left I washed a load then tried to dry them..... The dryer will not heat. Bought from Best Buy so they have to deliver a new unit......in February 2 months with no washer/dryer. Very displeased with LG and Best Buy. I ordered this unit 11/23/22........
