I am in love with this washer. I picked LG because of the high ratings in Consumer Reports. I have had the set for about a month and it has been getting a workout. I was hesitant to get the impeller since they were new to me. But I have noticed that my clothes come out cleaner with no damage to delicates. I know that some people have complained that it is hard to reach items at the bottom of the washer but I am barely 5ft tall and I have no trouble at all reaching them. I also must say that this is the most quiet machine I have ever had. I live in a small condo and even with the laundry room door open I can barely hear it. I just wait to hear the little jingle to tell me its done. Overall this was a great purchase for me. I had been looking at the more expensive models with all the bells and whistles but most of them were things I would probably never use. This machine does everything I need and does it well. If you are looking for a reasonably priced machine without a plethora of unnecessary features but still a large capacity this is a great choice.

We purchased this washer directly from LG. From the start we saved about $66 on the installation using LG instead of retail outlet. The washer installation included Hot Cold and Drain hoses saving about $100 using LG instead of retail outlet. Customer Service was very good. Using LG directly we saved on actual machine price compared to retail outlet. Progress emails and texts messages were frequent. The installation team was very professional using good care not to scratch. The crew removed old machine for which LG gave us $25 as trade-in value. Installation crew installed new LG machine connected necessary hoses and ran a quick-wash cycle to make sure machine not D.O.A. Timely installation with call ahead. Now for the machine: So far love it love it love it. Drum is big enough to handle anything. See-thru lid lets you see the process. Pleasant sound notification played when cycle is finished. Includes visible countdown timer that shows cycle time remaining. You can adjust the cycle the water temp spin speed water level and soil level plus a few other things like extra rinse. Average cycle time depending on options selected seems to be in the 60 minute range. LGs extended warranty was far less than retail outlets. All told I think we saved about $200+ dollars dealing direct with LG over big box stores. Other people may have a different experience but our experience has been excellent 2-3 weeks in. I recommend the machine and I recommend dealing directly with LG. We are just a family. We were not offered or paid anything for this review. Respectfully BC

We bought this machine because of the experience ive had with past LG machines. However this machine has been nothing but trouble. Everytime we try to wash a blanket or towel the machine just keeps washing and filling the drum over and over for hours. I end up having to stop the unit and take out the item and restart it. My unit is a year and 1 month old. Im told this unit has some kind of drum leveling sytem or something that ends up getting screwed up and trys to fix its self by refilling the drum. Stay away from this unit

This is by far the worst washer I have ever purchased. We were in a pinch when our washer went up and this model was the only on in stock...go figure. So we bought the washer and dryer combo. The dryer works fine but the washer can not even handle 23 of a regular load without going off balance. I cannot even wash a full size quilt without it going off balance. So if you find yourself in a pinch with no washer my recommendation is to order a usable washer and go to the laundromat until it comes in. Do NOT take this one just because it is available. Not even 2 yrs old and it grinds and makes squeaking noises all the time.

Purchased a LG Wave Series 5.2 cu. ft. Ultra Capacity Washer Model # WT5001CW 13 years ago from Home Depot and had absolutely no problems with it until the circuit board went out on it 13 years later. It did an excellent job on our laundry.
Purchased the LG WT7150CW Washer on 1-23-2024 and wanted to wait at least 6 months before writing my review. Same outstanding performance on this washer as on my previous LG washer. Amazed at how so little water cleans our laundry so well.
The only difference we noticed between the two washers is during the Normal Wash and Speed wash cycles there is not a full rinse cycle included as in our previous washer. Instead of a full rinse it has been replaced with a Spray Rinse which rinses the clothes while the tub is spinning and then it goes into the Spin Cycle. Clothes still come out clean and without any soap suds on it with the Spray Rinse. Of course if you want a full rinse with your wash you can select the Deep Wash cycle which does include a full rinse.
As with our previous LG washer we have never used any of the bells and whistles on the washer so we cannot comment on it. Have found all the available settings on the washing machine to be appropriate for all our washing needs. Hoping the WT7150CW washer lasts for 13 years without any need for service calls as well.

The lid on this machine is cracking Ive sent pictures. The lid flexes which I believe started the crack this to me is a manufacturer defect. This crack is only going to get worse every time we open it it pops.
I just asked for a new lid and I would put it on but I was told no I was given a repair shops to call very poor for a manufacturer defect no thanks

It needs more water in the wash cycle. When you hit water plus it lets out way too much water. The clothes is not completely submerged in the water and just moves around. Clothes comes out with dry spots where water never touched it through the entire wash. In order to adjust the settings you have to pause everything change setting a then unpause again. Not happy with it at all. I feel like Im stuck with it. I wish I never bought it. Consumes report gave it favorable reviews not sure why??

Bought one 11/26/23 horrible noise when spinning. Needed new shocksbalance the drum. They exchanged it with new one still under manufacturer warranty making same noise and everything. Have had a service tech out 3 times same noise recorded on cellphone. Now they are saying I overload machine and I didnt load clothes in correctly. I have been married 39 years. I think I know how to load a washing machine. I king set of bedsheets fitted and flat sheet 2 pillow cases and 4 small towels to dry dishes is not overloaded.

I sent several email to customer service with pictures and no response. I finally got thru to a person sent more pictures of the lid cracking it flexes every time we open it. This to me was just poor design a manufactured defect. But I was told they would not cover the cost.
I would be more than happy to do the work.

I purchased this LG washer and a paired dryer from Costco to replace 20-year old appliances.in a vacation home. Although the old appliances never gave me any problems were starting to make noises were rusting. Ive had the LG appliances for 3 weeks now and have done a number of loads of laundry with everything working out fine. I bought this on may 28 delivered on the 30. The washer wouldnt drain by the first week of July. Called LG they sent a repair man had to wait for parts to be delivered and hopefully by the end of tomorrow I will be able to use the washer again. This was a complete nightmare situation. Washer breaks down within 10 months takes 4 months of ineffective repair visits ruined clothes time off work and runaround. Constant calls to try and get updates and after finally getting a replacement notification it takes more calls and over a week for an email voucher. No way a brand new appliance should only last 10 months nor should it take 4 months to get it resolved with us paying for extended warranty. If it was resolved on time it would of been under the manufactures but they screwed around to push it over the one year to shove it back to Lowes. Who did not handle it any better. This cost us time off work money to replace what could be replaced in our kids ruined clothing and eventually now more money as we had to buy another extended warranty although we had a 5 year plan non of that was refunded and they charge another 50.00 to remove the old washer too.....seriously what an embarrassment. If we were not forced to buy again from Lowes due to the voucher being in their name we would not have No service or help at all Oh and the comment on the bottom of the review says I got this product free.........obviously that is not true

Ive only had the washer for a few days but so far so good. The design feels compact but its got a huge tub. The only problem there is that its pretty deep and difficult for me to reach the bottom since Im only 52. But nothing a small step stool wont fix. I love the big window. And Im already so happy I went back to a top loader instead of another front loader. So far everything thats been through the wash has come out looking great. The features and settings all seem easy to understand and use. I was unable to get the test cycle to run so just ran a regular cycle instead and everything worked as it should. Very pleased so far well see how it holds up over time.

My old washer was about 30 years had an agitator and I could control how much water I wanted to use per cycle and even change the amount mid cycle. That was convenient because I filled up the washer with detergent to mix and a bit of chlorine bleach when doing whites and then placed the items inside. I do not like that I cannot control that with this washer. I got the impeller and may exchange it for the one with the agitator as I am not sure the clothes is as clean. I do like that lint does not stick to clothing I hang dry.

Old washing machine broke after only 8 years and to fix it was over half the cost of a new one so far so good with this one. Hopefully it holds up.

Spend a little extra and buy a REAL washer. The tub bottom holds all of the dirt so if you truly want clean clothes you MUST wipe out the tub each time...EVEN IF it doesnt visably look dirty. I washed brand new white face cloths and 90 have dirt smears on them.
This washer was highly recommended to us buy a saleswoman What a joke
While the tub is massive dont even think about loading it up or it will fault with an uneven load code. If you were to us the bedding or large load settings the amount of water it uses is sinful
I will NEVER purchase a LG product AGAIN ... EVER
