I have had the machine for a year and it has not worked for three months and I have had tech guys out at least six times to fix it and they havent. LG has not replaced the machine nor offered to compensate me for time list from work laundromats etc. Poor excuse for a company and a product.

After owning the washer for eight months the transmission broke. That was October and now its December and it still has not be replaced. Two technicians came out to inspect it and determined it was unrepairable. We have contacted the warranty department many times with no resolution.

The only way to get clothes clean and rinsed well is to run the extra rinse with every load. I hate wasting the water plus it adds more time to each load. Also if you are not a tall person you will be unable to reach the bottom of the wash tub + I like the larger capacity but it isnt a great design to compensate for that extra space. Just making it taller makes it more difficult to use.

Love the capacity but without the agitator I MUST pretreat even the slightest stain. Clothes do not get as clean as they would with an agitator. While only a year old I will be selling and replacing.

I bought this washer June 2023. I have a recurring problem where the machine does not spin due to a clogged pipe. We have had this happen 3/4 times already and I honestly think this machine is a lemon. I have been married for 30 years and have NEVER had more than one service call on a past washer. Currently my washer is full of water and wet clothes - and need to wait till Tuesday for a LG serviceman to come. Last two times same thing happened. I have to physically dump water out with a bucket. This is unacceptable for a washer that gets ranked as High reliability. I am disgusted with this experience and hope LG will replace this machine to something more acceptable. My daughter said in all 4 years of college - she had the oldest washing machines - and they would throw anything inside - and never once did it break What is going on with LG?

I am very disappointed with this washing machine. It broke in just over 1 year. They had to replace the drain pump. It cost me $400. I am extremely upset that I had to pay for this after just over 1 year.

I have had this machine for about 5 years. I hate it. It rolls all of my clothes into a big tangled ball and then wont spin. It keeps running water in to try and balance it but that doesnt work. The ball is so heavy I have a hard time undoing it. If I could afford it I would get a new one. It does however clean.

Terrible. From day one the wash has been in-efficient. Items are extremely wet after the wash is complete. Even if I try just a spin cycle after the wash they are still wet. It is taking 3 times the amount of time to dry clothes/towels because of this and Im sure causing damage to my dryer. Have had two technicians come out but because there are no error codes coming up they have nothing to fix. This is my first product review ever I do not want anyone to experience the headache and financial burden we have so I decided to review.

The washer seems really good and I like all the options but the guys who installed it mixed up the water hoses and I didnt realize until I washed a delicate cycle and everything was hot and some things came out stained from color transfer. Obviously that is not an issue with the machine that was the installation but LG sent people that werent careful and didnt even follow the instructions in the manual for installation i.e. using a bucket of and testing the hoses to confirm the temperature and connecting the right lines to the right spots on the machine.

Bought this machine and within 30days there were issues. While this may be a one off - and perhaps this particular machine was a lemon - I have never had such a horrendous experience trying to get a company to do the right thing - meaning.....standing by their productInstead of replacing the manhine I had to waste countless hours dealing with their customer service people had to endure FIVE different service calls for them to attempt to fix the LEAK and in the end - after 13months I finally got them to agree to refunding me the purchase price of the machine. Which BTW - Im still waiting for - was promised two weeks ago.

would give this washer/LG customer service a 0 if I could. Do NOT purchase this washer or anything from LG. I have this washer and its not even two years old. Its literally pulling the threads out of clothes and tearing them apart. LG has come out 3x and cant fix it and keeps asking me to put more clothes in it to continue to get ruined Im talking hundreds of dollars of clothing ruined they are refusing to replace it. They keep giving me and the appliance company the run around and are just hoping I give up. It is also making the loudest alarm like sound when it runs and they wont fix that it either. I am on 2 months of no washer. They dont care and are very rude. Even the appliance people told them its not fixable and instead of replacing it they just refuse to answer emails or calls. Worst customer service ever. So frustrating. Big surprise the site wont let me upload photos/videos

After a few weeks of use I am very happy with this purchase. The extra features are fantastic and the wash cycles are super gentle on clothes. My only critique is that if youre short like me its a little hard to reach the bottom of the drum for those last few socks.

Incredibly disappointed in this highly rated washing machine from LG. From the time we bought it it has been destroying clothes. We already had LG come out once and they replaced the entire drum but its still ruining clothes. Never seen anything like it. Addding to the frustration is that the only semi-negative comments we could find prior to purchasing it was that it wasnt very gentle and could be hard on clothing. Cant seem to find those reviews anymore. It has destroyed more than a dozen items of clothing so far.

The washer cleaning performance is very poor. The bleach dispenser damages clothing when it releases the bleach it does not dilute it before dumping into the tub. The water level agitation and spin functions are not capable of cleaning clothes. Deep wash helps but does not have enough control and eliminates many other functions. The strange pauses in agitation and spin cycles combined with very weak action does not clean the clothes. The large tub is nice but it is useless without the right amount of water or a working agitator.

I love how this washing machine works Ive been using it for two years and its been great. It was a great value with lots of features. I especially love that I can use my app to get alerts and see the progress.
I called customer service once and they were great too. They helped me troubleshoot to find out how to get it working again. It wasnt the washing machines fault but more of a contractor that forget to turn the valves but they were able to help Great customer service as well

I was connected to the company for repair and they are also a joke. They keep canceling. I have a special needs adult and I need to wash every day. Its not easy to go to laundromat and there isnt many in my area. I would never by a LG product again. Still waiting to get fixed after 2 months.

I had this washing machine for 6 weeks before it broke. It took probably 10 days for a warranty company to come out. The first company Frontier Tech Services were HORRIBLE and they NEVER answered the phone or returned phone calls.
I had to start the warranty process over again and wait another week for the second company to come out. This gentleman was Awesome. He though had to order a new Motherboard and so I had to wait another 5 or 6 days for my machine to finally be repaired. 2 trips to laundromat waiting for a NEW machine to be repaired. LG warranty service needs to be better

We have had this machine since April. It has had a problem with the UE since we first used it. It will try to resolve the error itself and refill with water repeatedly. Today we are still trying to complete a load of wash so far it has been over six hours. We had a technician here two weeks ago and his fix was to move it away from our dryer. This has obviously not helped. We had and older LG machine which we were very happy with so that is why we bought this new machine. The frustration of trying to get this one load finished has us really upset. We tried to run a spin only cycle and it still keeps filling with water.

Weve had this machine since April 2024 and have had a constant problem with the the UE. It gets unbalanced with large loads small loads and anything in between. It sometimes takes a couple of hours to get one load done because we have to keep rearranging the clothes and then the machine refills with water and basically restarts the cycle. We had a service guy come today and because he couldnt duplicate the issue after testing one load he said it was fine and to call him if we run into a problem again. We are so frustrated with this situation but dont have any recourse. So sorry we bought this machine.

Ive had my LG washer for four months and all of a sudden there was a cycle that wouldnt work--online help gave suggestions and the customer service team seemed ready to send someone out if needed. Not to worry it seems I just needed to do a quick reset a lot like shutting down a computer and then booting it up again and everything was working fine. Im not a tech-savvy person at all and am in fact intimidated by all the modern equipment but this was easy straightforward and I knew the customer service folks were ready to help if I didnt get fast results.
