Although I had to install this myself, it was actually quite easy to do. And it makes a huge difference to the exhaust heading out to the ceiling instead of being blown back into the house. There are 2 removable screens that are super easy to wash and put back that the exhaust sucks the air through. The interior is open and clean and very easy to wipe down. The turntable sometimes gets off center. One complaint is that one cannot use the timer AND cook in the microwave at the same time. The buttons are a little hard to use at first but the kids broke them in in a day. The outside is somewhat hard to keep clean as you can clearly see fingerprints. The are plenty of reheat and defrost features that work well. The 30 second button makes for quick reheat. Make sure you open the microwave and wipe down all over including the frame as thats a hidden grease trap around the top(see the video my wife too). Overall this microwave fits right in with our other Samsung products in durability as I have 3 kids and a wife who use this Over The Range microwave everyday.

The sleek design looks great with our matching black stainless Samsung oven and I love that the vents are on the top, not facing out of the front where they can get full of grease and smoke from the range. We had an initial issue with it working because a wire had not been connected when it was first installed, so it looked like it was working from the outside, but did not heat anything. The Samsung team got it working again quickly and since then we've had no complaints.
It's much quieter than our old microwave both as it heats and with the highest fan setting for the range, but has more than enough power to cook anything we need.
The reheat option takes a lot of the guesswork out of leftovers and for someone who bakes as much as I do the soften button has come in handy for making Christmas cookies this month!
It gives you everything you could hope for in a microwave and with the sleek design and the price point it can't be beat!

I just received mines today but I used only 3 features on the microwave so far and its already better then my other one because my other one took 6mins to warm up food and the new one takes 30sec to warm up.. we didn't have a light under the microwave and we didn't have a fan either but the new microwave works better looks better is better then my older model its alot bigger in size the my other microwave plus we get alot room to

This microwave really is amazing, it looks so good in my kitchen with its black shiny front. It's really easy to use even my 10-year-old son can figure it out. It has a lot of presets that are very commonly used which makes it easy to figure out what you need to set your food on. It's also very easy to clean. The fan works amazing it is not super loud
I love the capacity of this microwave I can fit huge meals in it and don't have to microwave things separately. I love the popcorn preset my popcorn comes out perfect everytime

What I like about this microwave - the soft glow of the light, the three levels of the vent fan, the sleek front panel, minus a handle on the front, the capability to have a convention function without turning on my oven. Ours vents to the outside, I find the low, medium, high function of the vent fan is great to keep smells out of the kitchen and pulls it outdoors. Getting used to the no handle on the front door took a bit but I do like the clean, sleek look and design of the front. The negative - the air fryer function just doesn't cook items like it should compared to a traditional counter top air fryer. I find myself going back to that appliance rather than use the microwave function. Cooking popcorn in this microwave is by far the best it could ever be. I've used a popcorn function on many other microwave brands and I've found too many kernels left in the bag or it over cooks and almost burns it. This microwave feature cooks it too perfection. Would I recommend this microwave to others - yes If these are some of the features you are interested 8n.

What a cool microwave. finally I can cook. The wife texts me and tells me to go to the fridge and put the dish she premade in and she will do the rest. LOL She over Wi-Fi turns it on to how she wants it cooked. Pretty impressive actually. It does every thing you want it to do in one package. Love the air fry option. You know how us guys love our fried foods. I even learned how to make potato wedges. I like the crisp of the foods I make. No more soggy chicken nuggets. I might surprise the wife and make a roast one day. I like how they give your the instruction of the inside of the oven so it takes out the guess work. All kidding aside it is a sleek modern microwave and built well and happy we have it. I have already had many of great meals cooked from this too. It would make a great gift for college students too since it can do most every type of cooking you can do. Ok the wife said that. Which makes it a bargain at this price.

This is a sharp looking microwave. You can tell a big difference in design by the pics I posted.
I installed this myself and it came with everything I needed to get the job done. The instructions were precise and the template was spot on.
It has 1.5 cubic feet which is more than enough to fit most foods in. This microwave has a 1000 watts of power and features a powerful 300 CFM ventilation fan that really sucks up steam and odors.
Setting it up to the Samsung Smart App was a synch. It only took a few minutes to set up everything; the app found the microwave fast.
One of my favorite features is how much quieter it is in comparison to my old one. Even the fan itself is not as noisy. Plus it has LED bright white lights that illuminate underneath it. It has a fingerprint resistant finish to it which makes cleaning less and easier.
There are so many features I could list: child lock, access to app, cooking presets, auto defrost, melting butter, even a reheat button!
This is a well built sharp looking piece of kitchen equipment that was thought out very well for customers. Looks great with my other Samsung appliances!

The 1.7 cu. ft. Over-the-Range Convection Microwave - Black Stainless MC17T8000CG by Samsung is a TOP OF THE LINE Smart Microwave. From the sleek design, eye catching Black Stainless Steel color to the overall design. We were able to quickly setup the microwave thanks to Samsung's Smart App (Technology), which recognized the microwave as soon as it was powered on. Setup took less than 3 minutes and there are quite a many options/features. I am impressed with how large the inside is, the additional plate and wire mesh that can be used.
We have used the Slim Fry to cook wings and fries and OMG, cooking was quick and the food was crispy, evenly done and very tasty. I am soo impressed with all of these features of the microwave such as, Keep Warm, Auto Cook and Steam Clean just to name three. Since using the microwave, there have been no burnt/dry or overall cooked meals and cleanup has simply been just a quick wipe down and the outer face area stays clean. I really love the ceramic interior, the bright under lights and the not soo noisy fan.
Samsung really design this microwave with the customer in mind. This microwave compliments my other Black Stainless Steel appliances by Samsung very well.
I am impressed that i can get notified when cooking is complete and being able to interact with the microwave sing the Smart Things app is an extra benefit.
I can't wait till the holidays to use this very versatile and flexible microwave that can do more than just warm/heat/quickly cook food.
Did I mention how nice the beeps sound when the buttons are pressed and the notification when cooking has ended :-). Overall, this 1.7 cu. ft. Over-the-Range Convection Microwave - Black Stainless MC17T8000CG Samsung Smart beauty is a very wise and smart choice and I would recommend this to all my family/friends/neighbors.
