bought this because i had an older model at my last house that i loved. this one is good but the older model was the best. i don't like that the flex drawer is now platic. the old model was metal. also this one doesn't have as many lights in the main fridge so its dimmer. the showcase door is sticking and doesn't open up well which i put in a service ticket for. and the freezer no longer comes with a small door shelf even though they still make the slots for it. the door bin on the main fridge is not big enough to hold 2 gallons of milk

my previous refrigerator had the food showcase feature so i refused to even look at new refrigerators without this feature. the food showcase feature on this fridge is top notch. everything we use most frequently is easy to access. the automatic fill water pitcher is also a great feature. if my husband fills his glass with cold water using the door dispenser, not to worry because there is always a full water pitcher inside the fridge! i like the pull our refrigerator drawer. we've used this drawer for fruit and other easy access snacks. the meat and cheese drawers are just the right size. although this refrigerator is smaller due to the counter depth, every available space is utilized so that it doesn't feel small. this is a great refrigerator!

got this beautiful new fridge from samsung.com with installation. it was delivered and installed ant noon, and i was happy. around 6pm its compressor stopped working and circuit breaker got tripped. i turned breaker on, and the fridge lit, showing the temperature drop. compressor still won't work. it remained like that 5 min and tripped the circuit breaker again. the next morning the fridge went completely dead.
samsung.com customer service is not helpful at all. they are not technical experts so just transferred my call to the next person. finally was told that all they can do is to file a service request for me. i gave all required information,service company was supposed to call me within a day to schedule an appointment. that never happened and the request has not shown on my account

this model has been a total waste of our time and money.
on our first try to use it, we had to throw out the food that melted / went bad and spent hours cleaning up. it's been four months. it still does not stay close to the temperature set. we set the fridge to 36f and left it closed for 5 days. the service tech registered 43f when he got there. he said he did not get any error codes and the samsung tech he called told him that this was "normal" the temperature could fluctuate as much as 7 to 9 degrees!
bacteria grows most rapidly between 40° and 140° f. so, while samsung techs say it is "acceptable" for the temperature to go that high, it is totally unacceptable to me as a consumer who cares about my family's health!
i hope that samsung does the right thing and refunds our money.

i had a minor spill which got underneath the glass of the bottom shelf of the fridge. i couldn't easily pop it out like in my old fridge. hence, i went to the instruction manual which showed you how to remove and main other shelf except that one. so i went to google and finally found a video by another consumer. evidently you need to remove like 90% of contents (side door shelves, bottom drawers, and all) to get to the "clips" that you need to press with two screw drivers in order to pop the shelf. then, you need to completely take the shelf out of the fridge, overturn it, to get to two other clips and do the same thing.
not a good design at all. either you are going to seal the bottom shelf so liquid can't get through or you make it easy to remove! enough said.

this is withour a doubt the worst fridge i've ever owned. ive had to reset the ice maker atleast 4 times. the water pitcher leakes when you poor it.
most of all its terrible to clean. the produce drawers have a small opening in the bottom that has managed to get shredded cheese in it and theres no way to get it out. ive triee compressed air, sloshing water around nothing. photo below. my child spilled a smoothie over in the left door storage and same situation stuck no way to get it out. ive called samsung for tips or to see if i can remove the drawer to clean it and they had no idea. photos below to show what im talking about.

fridge works great but samsung service is terrible. i really like the pitcher idea, having cold water ready to go at all times. unfortunately my pitcher leaks around the seal so puddles wind up on my counter when pouring. spoke to several reps getting different answers regarding replacement and all of them said they would escalate my complaint but never heard anything. i finally requested a call back for a final answer and its been radio silence. its unfortunate spending so much money on a fridge and they simply wont send out a replacement pitcher that doesnt leak.
**samsung reps** dont respond with a canned answer telling me to contact customer service. its all for show and you intend to do nothing about my concerns.

We are very frustrated with this fridge. The pitcher constantly leaks. The second pitcher we got also leaks. The fridge constantly trips our breaker. We have had an electrician over to determine that it is the fridge, not the outlet or breaker. We are 2.5 months out of warranty, as we avoided having people in our home during early months of the pandemic. Now we can't deal with the fridge anymore, but need help. We heard in asking for assistance that, "Samsung has stressed that the health and safety of our customers is the top priority during this health crisis" and yet obviously does not mean that as they make us pay for fixing our fridge that never worked right. We should definitely have complained earlier, but even better would have been not buying this fridge.

short story - great fridge - poor ice maker. bought this model with a new home almost two years ago. worked great until the ice maker started freezing up. finally called the home appliance protection plan and started the long and painful process of having this thing fixed. we are now looking for the second repair and the process of getting parts as well as service is extremely painful. turns out this problem - ice maker malfunction - was well known before i purchased but we did not discover it until failure of the product. in hind sight i would not have made this purchase. right now i cannot even take a photo since the ice maker unit is frozen solid and cannot be accessed. :-(

sadly, i want to love this unit but after owning the refrigerator for 6 months, i have 5 crease / dents which is astonishing given my last stainless steel refrigerator (different brand) lasted 11 years without a single dent. it doesn't take abuse, i have two older daughters and myself and we're pretty low key with it -- not slamming, etc. the fridge functions fine, the outside just looks ridiculously bad now with so many dents. after talking with customer service, there is really nothing i can do except pay to have service out. so i suppose just beware as the front door dents very, very easily.

I bought this fridge to replace a broken LG. The counter depth definitely makes our kitchen look a bit bigger. It holds a good amount of food and the temps are always on point. The only downside is that the ice maker gets jammed if you don't use it for a while. Other than that, it's a good unit.

The refrigerator has great spacing within the shelves and the twin cooling zones are great. It also syncs up with SmartThings for easy tracking of door is open too long. The only concern we have is the in-door water pitcher leaks when pouring water. Though we will schedule a home service after the pandemic orders are lifted for it to be fixed.

overall great fridge- space is good -and really like the water pitcher better than I thought I would- bummed the shelves aren't adjustable and the smartthings app is pretty weak hence the 4 vs 5 stars

I bought this 3 months ago. Delivery took a month. Fridge seems to be working. No issues yet. I wish middle drawer could be freezer if wanted. I feel like the shelves in fridge are a little rigid, could have more flexible choices for heights.

The ice takes forever to dispense, the plastic piece surrounding the dispenser is cracking off. I spent a considerable amount of money and ended up disappointed.

We purchased the Samsung 4-Door Refrigerator after shopping a few different brands. I have several Samsung products and have been happy with them all. Glad we decided on this!! Extremely happy with the space and functionality of the moving shelves. Gives us SO MUCH MORE space then what we had in the past. The fridge drawer is awesome for our fruit and lunch meats.
The freezer, which I was skeptical of at first, actually has alot of space. Much more than the side by side we had before this.
However our favorite feature is the water pitcher that stays full with cold water! I know we have water dispenser on the front, but we drink tons of water and fill large water bottles constantly. This makes it so fast and easy to fill our bottles quickly and be on our way. This is AWESOME!!
We love this fridge and HIGHLY recommend checking it out if you are in the market!

The refrigerator is nice overall. A few days after delivery I noticed that the 2 doors were not at the same height. The book tells you to use the provided spacers to raise the height of the door. The spacers were not provided. After 30 minutes on phone with Samsung they said they would shup the spacers to me. After 2 months, never received the spacers. Called back to check on it. Was told I would have to call a parts department, but they were closed until Monday. I see a number of very similar experiences for the same problem. Also love the internal water pitcher, but it is leaking after only a couple months.
